Dear Lagos,

We have taken delivery of two new train sets for the blue line rail.

These passenger trains have been cleared at the port of entry, and have been moved to the National Theatre station where they have been lifted onto the elevated rail tracks.

I am indeed glad to inform the good people of Lagos that with the arrival of these train sets, we’re on course with our plans to change the face of the rail transport system in Lagos State.

A Greater Lagos is indeed Rising.

Well, the money for the bridge will be sourced by the contractor, and no single kobo of LASG money will be spent on the bridge. This is in contrast to the Light rail project which was delayed since 2010 is due to availability/lack thereof of government funding.

Also, the Chinese are known for executing quality contracts much quicker than many Nigerian or even Western contractors. So, I believe the CCECC are more than capable of delivering the 4th Mainland bridge within the next 3-4 years.

things I like about the project is that it would be completed quickly in 3 years, and has adequate number of interchanges.

I think the bridge would, by far, be the costliest in Nigeria at $2.5bn

Congrats to LASG on test-running the Blue line of their rail system. Very soon (from 1st quarter of next year), 3-4 hour hold-ups should be a thing of the past cool

Correct. The DOJ and other prosecutorial agencies all work under the doctrine of Prosecutorial discretion, where not even a president/governor or legislative body can force a prosecutor to engage in any official course of action.

However, as I implied in my second sentence that you quoted, the DOJ may decide it’s too much of a political hot potato to press charges on Trump, and not act on the criminal referrals.
