No player has won more penalties than Osimhen in Europe top leagues.
He has won 4x more penalties than Mbappe, Haaland, Vlahovic, Jonathan David, Lautaro, and Abraham combined.
Not your typical striker. - Copied |

Sports › Five Substitutions Option To Be Made Permanent By IFAB Next Month by PDPGuy(op): 4:07pm On Feb 24, 2022 |
The option to make five substitutions in a football match is set to be made permanent by football’s lawmakers next month.
It is expected that the temporary dispensation to allow up to five changes in a game — introduced after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic to help clubs manage fixture congestion — will be made a permanent option for competitions worldwide at the International Football Association Board’s annual general meeting on March 3.
IFAB has previously recommended all competitions move to allowing five substitutions. The Premier League decided against using five changes for the 2020-21 campaign and reverted back to three substitutions which remains the case for the current season.
The wording of the offside law will also be discussed at the meeting. In October UEFA’s referees’ chief, Roberto Rosetti, insisted the law “must be improved” following a controversial goal by France’s Kylian Mbappe in the Nations League final against Spain, when a defender’s touch played him onside.
The meeting will discuss changes to wording and any consequences arising from a change.
The meeting attendees will also be updated on trials of an alternative wording of the offside law advocated by Arsene Wenger, FIFA’s chief of global football development.
The former Arsenal manager had proposed that an attacker be ruled onside if any part of his body was level with the second-last defender.
A trial scheduled to take place in China had to be scrapped due to COVID-19.
There will also be an update on the use of semi-automated offside technology at the Arab Cup, which took place in November and December last year . https://theathletic.com/news/five-substitutions-option-to-be-made-permanent-by-ifab-next-month/REonva8HbjKp/?amp=1 |
