Why should the female aspirants pay only N2 million? It is sexist and patronizing of the PDP to suggest, with their policy, that women are somehow inferior to men. |
Now, who is the real fake German? |
The main opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has outlined requirements for its 2019 presidential aspirants. In a 40-page document titled ‘Electoral Guideline for the PDP, Directorate of Organisation and Mobilisation’, presidential aspirants are to pay a total sum of N12m for both nomination and expression of interest forms, respectively. The party said that its female aspirants will only pay only N2m for expression of interest form as they are exempted from the payment of N10m nomination fee. The document was signed by the National Chairman of the PDP, Prince Uche Secondus and the National Secretary of the party, Senator Umaru Tsauri. The PDP also insisted that all aspirants are to swear to an oath to abide by the decisions of the party on the conduct of its primary elections. The document said each aspirant must be nominated by not less than “60 persons from at least two-thirds of all the states of the federation who shall be registered voters in their respective local government areas and also registered members of the party.”It further disclosed that its NEC would appoint a Presidential Screening Committee on the recommendation of the NWC. The committee, it said “shall consist of a chairman and eight others. One from each geo-political zone, plus two women (one from the North and another from the South).” On the payment of fees, the party said, “An aspirant shall obtaine expression of interest forms code PD002/P upon payment of the non-refundable fee of N2m from the national secretariat of the party or such place as may be designated by the NWC of the party, and, on completion, return same to the national secretariat. “An aspirant shall obtain Nomination Form code PD003/P from the national secretariat of the party or such other place designated by the NWC of the party and evidenced upon payment of the prescribed non-refundable fee of N10m, save that female aspirants shall be exempted from the payment of the prescribed nomination fee.” The document added that all the aspirants must be “duly registered financial members of the party.” Furthermore, presidential aspirants must be citizens of Nigeria by birth and must not be below the age of 40. http://dailypost.ng/2018/06/17/2019-election-pdp-lists-requirements-presidential-aspirants/ |
I don’t see any VAR controversy in the Iran v Portugal match. Was there a shady VAR call in the other game? |
Simeon Nwankwo, who has better movement than Ighalo, should start on Tuesday. Nwankwo can also hold up the ball well, and will be a handful to Otamendi |
Sweden should have had a penalty |
I cannot believe Germany are heading out at this early stage |
BascoVanVeli:Actually, most (if not all) top flight leagues on break. So, I’m not surprised there is a playoff (promotion) match going on |
Mexico are presently on a run of 4 WC group games without conceding a goal. This game could extend the run to 5 consecutive group game clean sheets |
raumdeuter:There was actually a VAR review which confirmed the penalty. |

In the spirit of Super Eagles victory, lets enjoy this track from our sister Princess Vitarah. FBS, do you eat ass? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gc2k8my1oz0 |
Special attention should be paid to the refereeing crew for Tuesday’s match. Because Argentina and Messi are darlings of FIFA, there may be some shenanigans going on to ensure that Argentina get the result they need. It’s now time for Rohr and Mikel to play mind games. Both could say something along the lines of “the match needs a strong referee to officiate such a high profile match...” That would put the referee under pressure to need bend to any silly antics of Argentina and her fans. |
Musa needs 3 more world cup goals to become the African record goal-scorer in FIFA World Cup history. The current record-holder, Asamoah Gyan (Ghana) scored 6 career world cup goals. |
AIG07:I know, right. I wish he was playing for Nigeria. |
raumdeuter:Ivanovic made it easier for Xhaka. But the shot was an absolute blast though |
Iwobi and Ebuehi should enter in the 2nd half. Moses should be moved to the left, while Ebuehi stays on the right. |
MetalJigsaw:It’s a 3-5-2 |
Neymar is confirmed cheat. I don’t think I can ever root for Brazil |
O boy, this Croatia team will take either France or Denmark to the cleaners. It’s not even close! Just see how Modric and Rakitic made the Argentine midfield look like amateurs |
I don’t want to see Onazi in any starting line up |
safarigirl:Yes. Both JAMB and WAEC are needed for university admission. If you achieve 5 credits (including English and Math), but you have a 185 JAMB score, no admission for you. And if you score 280, but get a D in English in WAEC, still no admission for you. |
The guy who spent 30 years in America, yet never thought about getting US citizenship, wasn’t wise at all. Or did he forget that you really don’t have any rights, in America, if you’re neither a permanent resident nor a US citizen. Even if you run a red light while you are on a Student visa, the Trump administration would use it as a basis to deport you from the country. Well, it’s tough luck to the deportees. I hope they find their feet back in Nigeria. |
