iekene: I just moved into California and I can totally relate. What I see here is mind boggling.. All the girls wear bumshots, u even see their butt cheeks. It doesn't move me.. It's just new to see girls wear such to public places such as school.. They wear it everywhere (maybe except work) One of my school mates, a Nigerian woman in her late 30s, was asking if one girl was mad to wear one barely-there bum short to school. We saw the girl in the library for that matter. Obviously, no church usher would dare turn away any person from church based on the Naija definition of 'indecent' dressing; so they wear those things to church too. |

As for the gifts, I do not mind giving gifts if I'm receiving them. Life is to be enjoyed. However I don't take gifts in return for sex. If I have sex with someone, it is because I want to, not because I'm looking for a gift. Of course, I don't expect sex in return. I'm only talking about regular gifts oh |

See ehn, I will rather we lose with a back four of Egwueke, Oboabona, Omeruo and Ambrose than win with any back four containing Nedum.
Nigeria is one of the top footballing nations in Africa, we should have a little pride in certain situations, this is one of such.
Nedum Onuoha can never play for us again, so @Joebie, if you like, dig up every article you can find of the washed up grandpa, like someone already said, unless he's a goalie, we don't need him.

airmark: Aaah no wonder. That mobil event helped a lot of athletes those days. I dont know why all these telecom coys cant help out in sponsoring the event and groom more sprinters. Training to become a great athlete is not cheap, they need funds to reach and maintain top form. An athlete struggling to eat 3 square meal, how is he going to afford $200 supplement that will be consumed within a month?. Football didnt help matter too. It just took the shine off many other sports in naija. The lack of funding for the AFN, and by extension, the athletes will ensure that the Americans, East Africans, and Jamaicans will continue to dominate Athletics. If there was adequate funding, the athletes would be able to dope , train harder and be major challengers at world events. I once said that 95% of the Sports Ministry's budget should be allocated to all sports, except football because the corporate bodies seem to favor sponsoring the NFF and footie tournaments over other sports. For instance, Nigeria has decent men's and women's basketball national teams; the weight lifters, wrestlers, boxers, volleyball and rugby teams aren't too bad in African comps either. |

Ibime: Doping is for training. You can dope throughout training, and stop doping before competition season, you will be clear. You only need to dope for 3 months to build your muscles for endurance. That muscle will carry you for the next 9 months. This is why Kenya and Jamaica were sanctioned because their athletes were doping freely while training in Kenya and Jamaica before competition season abroad and their authorities were not testing judiciously. I watched one documentary on Ben Johnson where he said he was only using his steroids for training, but he made a mistake and took it too close to Seoul 88, that's why he was caught. You are right, all them ninjas in the 1980s like Flo Jo were doping heavily. I dey suspect Carl Lewis sef. Flo Jo record is 10 49. If you watch that race, you will be shocked. Even all those Fraser-Pryce cannot top 10.80 these days. That 10.49 record has never been close to being erased. The closest anyone got to that record was Carmelita Jeter 10.66 effort a few years ago, and even Jeter was doping too. I suspect that a transgender woman would be the person to break that record soon |

See as this Turkish guy just win 200m gold ahead of Van Niekerk. Unfortunately for Makwala he finished 6th. He slowed down in the last 40m, maybe because of that Norovirus Ikr. When she first burst into the limelight, she wasn't that big. Who knows whether some new brand of anavar has been developed to evade doping detection. Many track and field fans still believe that the likes of Michael Johnson, Florence Griffith Joyner, and Carl Lewis were definitely on the juice, but that the substances at their time were undetectable by doping tests of that period. The late FGJ even set a world record in an Olympic semifinal. Think about it. The Turkish guy's feat is all the more remarkable when you consider that he came LAST at last year's Olympics! See improvement |

FortuneTeller: Even if the story was fabricated, men are foolish like this. I once had a man send me $500 USD within one week of chatting with me. He had not seen my face, except a picture, but we had spoken briefly on the phone. I eventually went out to dinner with him, where he spent at least $250 USD. He was so fat he could not breathe properly. I am a very nice person, but I don't understand what he thought he would gain by adding money to my pockets. Nothing was going to come from that situation except talking and eating food. Some guys just dey fall hand. Imagine sending a lady you've not met $500 Of course, it has to be a Nigerian guy. Now, I don't mean to be racist but no White American dude will send that amount of money to a woman without meeting her in person. Those of them who do long distance relationships with Asian, or European women would rather go visit the woman, as a way of cementing the relationship before sending money to her (except those who fall mugu to 419 schemes ) As to the money he spent on the date, a friend of mine once said she spent up to $200 on a date with her now fiance, so I guess love can make you go to that extent. She runs a business which generates six-figure revenues, in $$, every year, therefore it may not have been a big deal to her. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: American Politics Lounge - Donald Trump Is US President-Elect ! by PDPGuy: 5:56pm On Aug 10, 2017 |
obixcel: Former President Barack Obama’s National Security adviser, Susan Rice, wants President Donald Trump to accept North Korea as a nuclear power. “History shows that we can, if we must, tolerate nuclear weapons in North Korea — the same way we tolerated the far greater threat of thousands of Soviet nuclear weapons during the Cold War,” she wrote in a New York Times op-ed, criticizing the president’s “fire and fury” rhetoric in response to the escalating tensions between the two countries.
Rice urged Gen. John Kelly, White House chief of staff, to stop Trump, and she pointedly attacked Dr. Sebastian Gorka, the deputy assistant to the president.
“John Kelly, Mr. Trump’s chief of staff, must assert control over the White House, including his boss, and curb the Trump surrogates whipping up Cuban missile crisis fears,” she wrote.
Rice complained that Trump’s rhetoric was “unprecedented and especially dangerous” and that America would have to be cautious about its response to Pyongyang.
She defended Obama’s actions in response to North Korea, insisting that his administration put them “on edge” by conducting joint military exercises with South Korea and introducing more economic sanctions.
She urged Trump to continue the Obama doctrine on North Korea despite growing hostility from the country.
“Rational, steady American leadership can avoid a crisis and counter a growing North Korean threat,” Rice wrote. “It’s past time that the United States started exercising its power responsibly.”
Come and see Derangement! ......I knew these communists posing as liberals would eventually side with the enemy. You may not like her because she is a liberal, but she made a cogent main point about tolerating North Korea as a nuclear power. History tells us that the Soviet Union eventually collapsed - both economically and politically - after spending obscene amounts of money on defense which was unsustainable. The North Koreans could eventually suffer the same fate of the old Soviet Union. Once China realize that a nuclear North Korea is a threat to Beijing's aspiration of being Asia's military and economic power, China would cut food exports to North Korea. The resulting food shortage would force Pyongyang to abandon its nuclear program and focus on funding its agric sector |

FortuneTeller: Speaking seriously, I do not understand why men do not speak with the women on a video app. Also why not go to where the woman is located instead of sending her money first? I say this as someone who has been sent money and gifts sight unseen. Men can be so foolish at times. Absolutely foolish indeed. But if the guy wants to do a video call, the lady would say she doesn't have money for data, which would prompt the guy to send airtime/money to her. Even when she makes up a fake story about her mum being sick, love (or lust) can blind a guy to the extent that he won't mind sending money in order to prove his love. The guy's red flag meter should have been blinking when his gf told him multiple times that she had problems with rent. He could have requested to speak with the landlord to confirm the veracity of her claim. Of course she wouldn't have contacted him again if the boyfriend made that request |

I have said this here for a long time. A high number of kids belong to another man outside. Especially firstborn kids. If he had not caught her red-handed, he'd never done DNA test. Like majority of people never do DNA test.
I think the best thing is to shame her into withdrawing any claim to anything. Like letting her family, church/pastor and anybody who cares to know hear about it. Maybe even social media.
The guy is very lucky. She could have killed him as the best bet to claim all his wealth. Lol You really think that shaming the woman would discourage her from seeking legal enforcement of her rights? If she is really determined to get half of the property that was acquired in the course of the marriage, no amount of shaming on Nairaland, Facebook or LIB would deter her. |
