lovewins: It's like you still don't get it. Even if NFF doesn't want to do the right thing, they have been boxed into a corner. BTW, monies sent to the NFF by FIFA goes to NFF account with the central bank first. They then need to write to get funds processed. Don't also forget th Fifpro angle. They can continue their madness some other times, but this one has too much attention. Alright. |

lovewins: Not holding brief for the NFF, but this FIFA money, they are not touching a dime. Do you know how much monitoring is going on not just from FIFA bit from the presidency?. They can do I some other times but not this one. The girls will get their money complete you can take it to the bank. Cool. I think we both hope that the Glass House will do the right thing 🤗 |

lovewins: Source?
Except maybe for taxes and other legal deductions, the NFF is getting nothing from.the $60k. Pretty sure they are also not getting anything from the $10k as the presidency is sending to the girls directly You’re asking for source? We all know that the NFF would dip their hands into the player’s prize money (aside from “taxes”) when we consider the fact that both the money due to the NFF and players would be paid directly to the NFF.. Now, I’ll concede that the NFF may not dip their hands into the cash that the presidency has promised the players cos it will be paid directly to them. |
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by PDPGuy: 4:03pm On Aug 20, 2023 |
It’s sad that we know that the NFF will collect their 10% from the $60,000 that would be due to the players from the WC. Those greedy/corrupt officials may also collect 10% from the $10k that the presidency would pay to each player 🤦🏾 |

Miss out on glory and legacy, missed out on money As in! I can’t imagine willfully missing out on $270,000! knowing fully well that it is quadruple of what they would normally earn in a year. Smh |

The “1994 curse” struck again…
Back in 94, the Super Eagles lost to Italy, who went all the way to the final to lose to Brazil.
This year, the Super falcons were eliminated by England, who have just gone on to lose to Spain in the final… |

The FA will consider Sarina Wiegman as Gareth Southgate’s successor if or when he moves on from being manager of England’s men’s team, according to ESPN…
I’m not sure how she would handle the ego of the men, if she lands the job. It’s one thing to manage female footballers who earn £36,000/year, and an entirely separate thing to manage men who earn £85,000/week…. |

DontBullshitMe: Ministry of FCT is quite a lucrative ministry too ngl. You are basically the Governor of the 37th state of the country.
Land racketeering and reallocation. Billboards and advertisements. Real estate. Possibilities are endless.
Nyesome eating good (at the expense of Nigerians anyway). I won’t disagree with you. Also, this is the first time that a southerner is being appointed as minister of FCT. Wike, aside from winning Rivers for Tinubu, must have also pulled out major stops to secure that ministry |

I don’t get the rationale behind assigning the ministries of Aviation, and “Poverty Alleviation” to Keyamo and Betta Edu. 🤷🏾♂️ The latter should have been assigned to the Health ministry as she is a qualified Dr |

chrisooblog: England clobbering Australia same England we almost beat. This is giving me USA 94 vibes when Nigeria almost eliminated eventual World Cup finalist Italy Yea And the other USA 94 vibe is that the team Nigeria scored 3 goals against, advanced to the semis but were also eliminated at that round. |
