In a post shared on his Facebook page this morning, Okupe said he recently read a story online where Falana was quoted as saying Adeboye was building business centers and not churches.

Christian girls are goal oriented because of the upbringing, trainings and exposure the church avails children and youths at their developmental stage. In fact, many Muslims I have met told me that they prefer to take thier kids to Christian primary schools in order for them to get a solid background. Their Muslim counterparts are shouting Laila lailai lailai 10, 000 times under an Alfa with a long cane, pure hypnosis. That's why most successful Muslims had or have a practicing Christians as wife. The terrorists among them either pressure, threaten or force the girls to convert. May God deliver our Nigerian Christian girls from the snare of greed and the love of money. Selling all the labor of the children church to an headslammer because of money and enticement is not wise and God will judge you for your greed.

CelebritiesRe: Meet Amar Bharati Who Has Raised His Hand For 45 Years (Pictures) by Peace1993: 1:46pm On Dec 08, 2021
ogbiwa:
A man has been raising his arm for more than 45 years, and he doesn't plan to stop because of his dedication to his faith.

Amar Bharati left the world stunned after he was pictured with his arm raised strongly holding a stance with his fist in the 1970s.

He was a married man with three children, who worked in a bank, but in 1973 he decided to ditch his modest life in the name of world peace.

He decided to dedicate himself to a Hindu deity called Shiva, and in a bid to show his devotion he came up with the idea to lift his arm and to keep it positioned that way.

"I don’t ask for much. Why do we fight between us, why is there so much hate and enmity between us? I want all Indians to live in peace," he previously told History of Yesterday.

"I want the whole world to live in peace."

Bharati spent the first two years of his quest in pain but after that, it slowly started to ease as he eventually lost all sense of feeling in his arm, reports Lad Bible.

But due to several decades of holding the same position, it would take him a lot of time to bring his arm back down next to his waist because of the loss of circulation.

Some users on Quora believed that it wouldn't be possible, while others said even if he could it would cause him discomfort spiritually.

One person said: "You would likely cause Mr. Bharati a great deal of pain, not only physically but spiritually as well, as he believes that his eternal salute promotes world peace.

"As the bone structure is still intact, the arm would likely not snap like a twig but rather sunder at a joint, where cartilage has dried and receded.

"Basically, you would break his arm, but maybe not in half."

Another user commented: "I don't think that he would be able to use his arm again due to the fact that the blood circulation in his hand would have become very less if not completely stopped and thus all the vital tissues would die."

FamilyRe: Nigerian Ladies Stop Marrying Men That Are Not Already Rich by Peace1993: 12:33pm On Dec 04, 2021
pmoye:
This is advice is really for Nigerian ladies. Please and please do not marry a man that is not rich. Your very life will depend on it. You heard me... How long you live as a woman may well depend on how rich your husband is. This may seem like an over-generalization, but a very needful one. Quite a troubling percentage of Nigerian men can not handle a woman who is more financially buoyant.

Ideally it shouldn't matter how much each person earns, because I believe that the husband and the wife should be one financially. That the home should be planned like a company with budgets, financial planning, sound auditing and all... But from the much we have seen around the average Nigerian family is far from this ideal. We often have what increasingly looks like a union that appears more to serve a cultural/societal expectation, a union that is sustained just so that the society can think you are happily married, while between the man and the wife it is more like between US and China, between Northern and Southern Nigeria, a perpetual cold war and bitter jostling for resource allocation and control.

I have seen women who have died because the husbands couldn't afford antenatal care and used ego-motivated argument to keep the women from accessing timely medical care... And of course, few years or even months after that those wicked men would later bring in other wives into the house.

The poorer the man, the more wicked, the more angry, and the more deadly he generally is in Nigeria. Do not let any man or any woman convince you to marry for love. There is no such thing as that, just a queer surge of hormones that makes you think you are in love. If you marry a poor man for love, hunger and suffering will soon reset your thinking, and by then most women feel too culturally compelled to remain with the toxin of a husband they have. Take a cue from evolutionary development in animal kingdom generally where females select the most suitable male for mating.

Do not simply believe in a man's future plans and dreams. If he doesn't have money now, he is not ready to be a husband. No matter how much you think you love him, treat him like the case of AS genotype (yours) marrying an SS genotype (his). And this is something I respect some Igbo men for. They will never think of marrying a woman unless they are economically ready.

If he is earning N30,000, or N40,000 or N90,000 per month he is not ready to marry. These are just examples from posts I have seen around here. Do not be fooled, the amount on the payslip is not always available for taking care of the home. But that's the talk for another day.

Some of us are probably never going to get married, I personally find it very scary to read about how men because of poverty increasingly turn against their wives in marriage... I may be too traditional though, because I do not fvcking care the money the wife is bringing into the house. Her role as a mother and a wife is already supremely more than you need to compensate for as a man. If you are a man, do not get close to a man when you are still poor. It is wickedness. It is dishonesty. It is crime against humanity. Do not sell her a future hope of becoming a pastor and other popular silliness.

Marrying a lady when you cannot completely and single-handedly take care of her is gender violence. Stop it.
The future is confused
EducationRe: Sylvester Oromoni: Video Of Dowen College Student In Pains Before He Died by Peace1993: 2:11pm On Dec 03, 2021
thatsleepboy1:
WHO IS allah?

Muslims use the remotest language possible to describe Allah. They try to make him as transcendent as possible in order to discourage people from conducting research on him. If you ask a Muslim to define Allah, he will just beat about the bush, ascribing attributes to him that neither belong to him nor befit him. But Allah is not as mysterious as Islam would like the world to believe. He has been at the Kaaba stone all along. Certainly, Christians have not prayed enough to displace him and we may never do so until he meets his doom in the valley of Megiddo. Some say that the word Allah was or is derived from the Syriac Alaha. But the name Allah was in existence long before Islam. That is evidenced from the name Abdullah (meaning servant of Allah) the name of Muhammad's father. The question is this: To whom was this name originally revealed? Certainly none of the Biblical prophets ever referred to it. There is absolutely no trace of that name in the Bible. It is Arabic, not Israelite. But in the mind of Islamic scholars, anything (negative or positive) done to further the cause of Islam is justifiable, so they can lie and claim that the name of allah was revealed to Adam, Abraham or even Ishmael. Lies can be told about those patriarchs because they have been dead a long time and aren't around to refute any false claims. And they never leave Abraham alone. In pre-Islamic Arabia, that Muslims now refer to as Al-Jahiliya, meaning a period of ignorance, the Arabians were grossly paganistic. In and around Kaaba, the Arabs worshiped 360 idols. Each clan had their own particular idols to worship. It is provable that Allah was one of the 360 idols that Muhammad's Hashimite clan worshiped. Muhammad's grandfather, Abdul Muttalib, was the leader of Mecca and a custodian of Kaaba's 360 idols. The Koran confirms that he was a pagan. The names that Muhammad grandfather gave his children are further proof that Muhammad was from a family of idol devotees. Muhammads father was named Abdullah, meaning servant of Allah. The name of Muhammad's uncle was Abdul Manaf, meaning servant of Manaf. His other name was Abu Talib, meaning father of Talib. This is indisputable proof that Allah and Manaf were clannish idols worshiped by Muhammad and his people. Islamic scholars try to hide the historic fact that Muhammad worshiped idols before and after he claimed to be a prophet. But they canít do away with the record of the Koran itself. That Muhammad was later fascinated by the monotheistic creed of jews and Nestorian Christians is beyond question. He encountered many of them at Mecca and on his business trips to Syria. His wife, Khadija, was a Catholic, as was Waraqa ibn Naufal, his secret tutor. Now, Muhammad wanted to unite the Arab race under a theocratic setting, but there was no way he could carry along all those 360 idols, so Muhammad decided to pick from among the idols of his clan. Naturally he picked Allah, the idol for which his father was named. Any of the idols would have served; an idol is an idol. It is the demon behind an idol that deceives the mind and heart. Those who try to single out Allah and deify him above the other Meccan idols should remember that Muhammad could just as easily have picked Manaf, Al-Lat, Al-Uzza, or any of the others; and his choice didn't win the support of everyone, including his uncle, Abdul Manaf. That is clear from the fact that Abdul didn't submit to Allah and Islam until his death. He held on to Manaf. This elevation of one idol over the other 359 angered the other Meccan clans. The purported persecution of Muhammad was nothing but an inter-tribal or inter-clannish quarrel over whose idol should be or whose should not be venerated. In the same vein, the Koran was written in Muhammad's dialect (Quraish). To pacify the other tribes, Muhammad told them (with concocted revelations) that the preserved tablet in heaven was written in Quraish. The world was then asked to swallow the Islamic lie that all the Kaaba idols were destroyed. It just isn't true. About four of those idols are said to remain. The custodians of Kaaba should open the stone to independent inspectors should anyone dispute this. Just as Islam led 1.2 billion Muslims and even some ignorant Christians to believe that Jesus is Isa or Esau, so it has tried to make the world believe that Allah is God. But there is no link between Allah and the Bible God, who revealed His name to be Yahweh, or the I AM. Websters New Collegiate Dictionary calls the name of the true God a Tetragrammaton, which means that it is made up of four letters. Those Hebrew letters are transliterated YHWH or JHVH. They are usually pronounced Yahweh or Jehovah. Yahweh means the I AM. That name defines G-ds eternal being and divine nature: The only true, almighty, personal, holy God, and ìthe Father of spirits (Numbers 16:22, cf. John 4:24), The God who revealed Himself to His people, made a covenant with them, became their law giver, to Whom all honor and worship is due. If God's name was really Allah, why didnít He give that name to the prophet Moses or to any of the other Old Testament prophets? Why didn't Jesus ever hint that God might have a name different than the one already revealed to the prophets? The Supreme Being is eternal isn't He? If God is without beginning or end, isn't His name also eternal and unchanging? Of course, but if the Koran is correct, then nobody knew God's name before Muhammad, and God didn't know what He was talking about when He told Moses that His name was I AM that I AM. It was at the burning bush that God revealed Himself to Moses as the I AM (Exodus 3:14). I AM portrays His eternal existence, with no beginning and no end. He is the only eternal God, there is no other. There is no room for any usurper idol, no matter what he calls himself. The name Allah does not belong to the true God, but to an Arabian idol. But there is more. When Jesus called Himself I AM in John 8:58, He said in effect that He is the same I AM who spoke to Moses at the burning bush. The Jews understood exactly what Jesus meant, and tried to stone Him for it (John 8:59). They knew that Jesus was declaring Himself to be the final, perfect and practical revelation of true God. The prophet Isaiah knew it, too, when he called Jesus Emanuel, meaning God with us. This is not polytheism, God the Father and Jesus His Son are one Being, one essence. Jesus said: John 10:30 I and My Father are One.

So I had this girl, she was very reserved and very pretty...had a light skin and was an introvert that will scatter the compound with sweet aroma from her room...

Sometimes like that, I returned from home and I decided not to go to school..It was in the afternoon and I never knew anyone was in the compound and I went to the bathroom to take my shower...I was just pulling down my trousers to hang them when I saw the door opened and she was staring down at my erected third leg. She closed the door speechless and was unable to say sorry. I didn't say anything either..

After I was done at the bathroom, I decided to leave for lectures or go to school to read or something...then she came and knock at my door... Ask her to come in and she did... She said she was sorry about what happened and I said it was fine..but that I have to see hers too... I was trying to be funny and she took it serious. But said, if I wanted a revenge that she will let me have it but only when she'd return from school.

Then that even passed, we couldn't see, after a week letter, she called me from her window and I turned to the backyard to see her.... She was naked... and my dick stood up immediately and I knew she noticed it...

Well, long story cut short.... we never had sex.. I wasn't possible... I failed myself.

SportsRe: Lionel Messi: When Cristiano Levelled Me, I Have To Admit That It Hurt Me A Lot by Peace1993: 8:20am On Nov 30, 2021
obembet:
Lionel Messi is gearing up to potentially receive the 7th Ballon d’Or of his career. Ahead of this though, his confession of being hurt after Cristiano Ronaldo tied his tally of five in 2017 has resurfaced

During his time with FC Barcelona, Lionel Messi became the first player to win four straight Ballon d'Or awards after being voted the winner from 2009-2012. He followed it up by winning his 5th Ballon d’Or in 2015, which was at the time a world record.

However, Cristiano Ronaldo’s trophy-laden time with Real Madrid allowed the Portuguese to win the award between 2013-2014 and 2016-2017. He had won his first Ballon d’Or at the age of 23 for Manchester United in 2008. Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi were tied at five Ballon d’Ors until Messi won the award again in 2019.

Lionel Messi has reportedly been told that a record 7th Ballon d’Or is his. Amongst the anticipation of the 2021 Ballon d'Or, Messi's confession back in 2017 has resurfaced. He then said:

"On the one hand, I appreciated having five and being the only one to do so. When Cristiano levelled me, I have to admit that it hurt me a bit. I was no longer alone at the summit. But it was logical, even if it is nice when you are alone on five.”
Lionel Messi’s 7th Ballon d’Or inadvertently means that he has edged past Cristiano Ronaldo for good in historic race

Lionel Messi’s potential 7th Ballon d’Or win extends his record of winning the most in the history of club football. He started off with a headstart but Ronaldo managed to tie him at five in 2017. Messi was hurt, but has since managed to edge past Cristiano Ronaldo again.

With his 7th Ballon d’Or, it seems extremely likely that Ronaldo will not be able to reach Messi’s tally for good. With age catching up to both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, the two are not the same players that they were just a few years ago. However, Lionel Messi will be optimistic about his chances of landing an 8th. That is if he is able to lead PSG to a Champions League triumph this year.

Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo is plying his trade for a struggling Manchester United side and he is now 36 years old. His playing style is arguably more dependant upon hard work and physical fitness than Lionel Messi. Plus, Manchester United do not look likely to win multiple trophies this season.

Additionally, Lionel Messi will become the second-oldest player to win the Ballon d’Or at the age of 34, if he wins. He will be second to Stanley Mathews’ record of winning it as a 41-year old in 1956. In such a scenario, Cristiano Ronaldo will have to win his 6th Ballon d’Or as a 37-year old. He will have to then follow it up with another unlikely triumph to equal Messi’s record.
At the same time, he will have to hope that Lionel Messi does not win another Ballon d’Or till the end of his career. Considering PSG’s Champions League ambitions and overall squad, both those scenarios might come true.
