Kororugged:
Useless and baseless revisionism.

General Buhari was a military leader between 1983-1985, he ruled the country through decrees.

Nigeria is now under a democratic disposition with institutions that are hinged on the rule of law and d separation of powers.

Obasanjo did similar things while he was military head of state but Nigerians voted for him to be their civil president on 2 occasions

this thread is dead on arrival.
If you can't remember how OBJ came into power and retained it throug rigging in 2003, with a failed 3rd term bid, then you seriously need the attention of your government teacher.

That has to be false. No muslim can speak that way about God or about Jesus. Only the Jews call Jesus such unprintables.

Christianity EtcUnical Students Revolted Against The Teachings Of Islam!!! by ped007(op): 1:10pm On Jan 17, 2015
The students of Universty of Calabar resident in the Republik of Malabor (students hostel), revolted against the teachings of Muslim Students Association of Nigeria.
The program or seminar which was holding in Malabor Square with about 200 muslim students in attendance, stationed their giants speakers facing each direction of the hostel.
Other students who were in their respective rooms trying to prepare for their upcoming examination and going about with other activities for the weekend were alarmed.
Their anger and revolt was as a result of the continous instigating messages that various speakers in the program were speaking against the Holy Bible and Christianity in general. It got worst when the speakers in the program attacked the much held believe of Jesus Christ as the Son of God and other techings which Christianity holds dear to heart.
About 500 students came out to disrupt the program since they could no longer bear the continous 'insult' on Christianity Teachings. It took the intervention of the school security operatives to calm the angry students down and the program was brought to an end with the protesting students chanting songs of victory.
It should be noted that the Institution is dominated by Christian Students with various fellowships all over the campus.
Some students who spoke out were of the view that 'they should have focused on teachings of Islam instead of attacking other religious belief'.
At the time of this report, none of the SUG Officials could be reached since they where far away in Obudu celebrating the Students' Week.

PoliticsPresident Jonathan And Corruption: 10 Punches! by ped007(op): 9:33am On Jan 12, 2015
10 Things You Didn’t Know About President Jonathan and the Fight Against Corruption
1. He has chosen to fight corruption with good strategies and diligence, not brute force.
2. He will not abuse his powers in order to appear tough on corruption. He believes that following due process while fighting corruption strengthens our institutions
3. He granted the EFCC independence from the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, so it can pursue corruption in the public sector without interference.
4. With smart policies, he has decimated almost 4 decades of fertilizer subsidy fraud, saving N50bn in a single year.
5. He revived the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS) to eliminate a major avenue of corruption in the public sector. This has resulted in the elimination of 50,000 ghost workers and N139bn in savings
6. Project Aquila, implemented under President Jonathan, has helped reduced up to 20 million liters a day in PMS subsidy fraud by using technology to track the movement of petroleum products around Nigeria
7. He approved the compulsory retirement of a judge that dismissed a grievous corruption case against a Bank CEO before taking the defendant’s plea
8. He approved the sack of a judge that upheld the results of a fraudulent election in Osun State even though the Judge’s decision had benefitted his own party, PDP.
9. He approved the suspension of a judge that had sentenced a man, convicted of stealing pension funds, to a paltry fine instead of prison.
10. He doesn’t like to make a big show of it, because there is a lot more work to be done, but he is winning the war on corruption.

Christianity Etc7 Year Old Girls' Revelation For Nigerian 'men Of God' by ped007(op): 4:38pm On Dec 31, 2014
7 year Old Girl Reveals That Adeboye,TB Joshua, Oyedepo,Oritsejafor, Olukoya And Others Will Not Make Heaven.
According to NigeriaBreakingNews, Seven year old Iretioluwa is like every other children, but what makes her different is her spiritual
proclamations, which makes her an extra-human being. When we were invited by her parents saying “our daughter wants you”. It was like a call not too clear.
But upon enquiry made by our editor, we discovered that it was not just a call but a diving call that requires a diving response.
Ireti-Oluwa has become a friend of Jesus Christ upon whom she resides and proclaim messages for the world.
“Most times Jesus Christ appears to her and tells her lots of things especially hidden things which He (Jesus) wants us to know” declares the mother.
“But the most shocking of all she has been told is about men of God whom we reverence in this country and she told us to look for a Christian newspaper. In fact, she wrote the name of your magazine and we started looking for it” – the father cuts in.
We were ushered into the spacious living room of the Ifedayos when Iretioluwa was taking her breakfast. We waited for her to finish and we settled down for the business of the day.
Iretioluwa, a primary three pupil was so bold as she declared what she said was told her by Jesus Christ.
According to her, my Lord and saviour said i should declare to Pastor Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God that he cannot make heaven. Though he started very well in spite of his works, he has compromised. “He has missed me a long time ago. I am only honouring my name in his life. He no longer has a place in me. Tell him to go back to his first love and drop every load of compromise he is carrying.
“Tell David Oyedepo that his hands are soiled with human blood. His name is not in the book of life. He has missed it a long time ago. Tell him what will profit him if he gains the whole world and end in Hell fire.
David Olukoya of Mountain of fire and miracles is encouraging evil and doesn’t want to repent. Tell him to stop living a double life. He knows the stones in his hands, tell him to drop them if he MUST enter heaven, he has to live a complete life of holiness.
Ayo Oritsejafor is not my servant. He has gone astray in the pursuit of fame, power, money. Warnhim to repent before he ends where his boss his.
T.B. Joshua is an advocate of Satan in Nigeria, he has sold his soul to the devil and he knows hell is awaiting him.
Christ Oyakhilome made a vow to Satan and he has succeeded to win souls for Satan. He is the front runner of the new age teachings in the world.
Many pastors that hoist flags of different churches know why they are doing so. Beware of such gathering.
Evil altar has reached an alarming rate in Nigeria.

PoliticsNigeria Can Realise Its Vision, Dreams In 2015 – RATTAWU by ped007(op): 6:19pm On Dec 29, 2014
The Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union (RATTAWU) on Monday said Nigeria could still realise its vision and dreams of a prosperous and peaceful nation in 2015.
This is contained in a new year message issued in Abuja by its General Secretary, Mr Henry Odugala.
It, therefore, called on leadership and stakeholders to work together to move the nation forward.
The union said it was possible for Nigeria to realise its vision in the new year because of the “faith and can-do spirit’’ of the nation’s stakeholders.
While wishing Nigerians the best of the new year, RATTAWU expressed confidence that the nation would be great in 2015.
“We commend Nigeria and its stakeholders for their faith and can-do spirit that can enable the country realise its vision of a prosperous and peaceful nation.
“Let our humanity shame those who wish us bad; “Nigeria shall be great in 2015,“ it said.(NAN)

PoliticsCameroonian Army Kills Over 100 Boko Haram Militants by ped007(op): 10:09am On Dec 28, 2014
More than 100 suspected Nigerian Islamic sect Boko Haram militants were killed and over 200 arrested during an operation conducted by Cameroonian army on Friday night in Far-North Region of Cameroon, an army source told Xinhua over phone Saturday.
The operation took place in Doble, a place in Far-North Region bordering Nigeria, and was conducted by Cameroon Air Force and Rapid Intervention Battalion, an elite army unit stationing in the north.
During the operation, three Cameroonian air force pilots were seriously injured, the source said.
In the same night, 23 Cameroonian civilians were killed and a village was burned by suspected Boko Haram militants in Mozogo, a place in Far-North Region.
The suspected Boko Haram militants are active in the north of Cameroon, they often attack the villages in the area, pillaging properties of the villagers and sometimes taking foreign and local people as hostages.
The Cameroonian government has strengthened the military might this year by sending more troops in the north to fight against the militants.

PoliticsRe: APC To Nigerians: This Is Your Last Christmas In Bondage. by ped007(op): 5:59pm On Dec 24, 2014
''Many cannot travel home due to fears of kidnapping, ethno-religious crisis and insurgency, depending on which part of the country they are from. Many cannot celebrate due to the effects of the economic downturn, as manifested in weakening Naira and falling oil prices, both exacerbated by widespread corruption.
''Many will mark the holidays in darkness as the country's public power supply seems to have fallen in a direct proportion to the huge funds ostensibly pumped into the sector in the past few years. Many will be stuck on the roads that have become clogged due to their poor state.
''While there is no magic wand to solve the myriad of problems facing our country in one fell swoop, an APC government will begin to positively impact on the citizenry within its first few months at the helm, to such an extent that Nigerians will have a better Christmas celebration in 2015,'' it said.
APC said Nigerians hold the power to bringing about the much-needed change, hence they should vote wisely during the February 2015 general elections so they can install a government that will address, squarely, the challenges facing the country.
''We have, through our manifesto, entered into a honest social contract with Nigerians. But we are aware that we cannot do it alone, hence we need the consent and participation of the people.
''Our eight pledges for a better Nigeria, which are highlights of our manifesto, form the core of our social contract with Nigeria. During our first term in office, we pledge to create 3 million new jobs a year through public works program and by shifting the economy towards value-added production will be our primary economic target; we will strengthen security by employing
at least an extra 100,000 police officers and establishing a properly-trained and equipped Federal Anti-Terrorism Multi- Agency Task Force to destroy Boko Haram and any form of insurgency. We will also introduce an immediate pay rise and improved conditions for all five security services.
''To fight corruption, the cankerworm that has eaten deep into the fabric of our society, we will adopt a zero-tolerance approach to the vice - rooting out dishonest public servants and imposing tough sanctions including jail sentences.
''To position our youth for better job opportunities, we will provide interest-free loans for university/technical school students who meet the required entry qualifications, and this will be funded by providing guarantees to the banking sector and by absorbing the interest. Also, we will introduce a free daily school meal for all children attending primary school.
''As a first phase to battling poverty, we will introduce direct conditional monthly social security payment for 25 million of the poorest Nigerians. To ensure a more healthy society, we will create a network of local health centres providing free services and drugs, such that no one lives more than 5km from help. And will will create a more equitable distribution of national revenue to the States and local governments because this is where grassroots democracy and economic development must be established.”
''We know that for our long suffering people, hope springs eternal. We urge them to continue to keep that hope alive, because help is on the way,'' the party said.
Meanwhile, APC has also sent fraternal holiday greetings to all the men and women in uniform, who are battling the insurgency that has held the nation by the jugular.
The party said the huge sacrifices being made by these gallant men and women, for the love of country, are very much appreciated and will not go unrewarded.
''We greet our soldiers and indeed all security agents whose sacrifices keep us safe. We know they will be on duty as many of us celebrate and enjoy the holidays. We urge all Nigerians to remember them in their prayers and to continue to support them in their onerous task of securing the nation,'' the APC message said.
