Many of the comments here are based on Bias, not Facts. Claiming that you have been to/graduated from any of the Universities is a bad way to start your answer. As this is an anonymous forum, any claim of being a graduate/student of any of the Universities cannot be verified. So, please give little or no weight to comments from people that claim they graduated from IFE, but UI is better, and vice versa! That said, the criteria for comparing universities is very unique. Universities are not companies where almost every criterion is money-related. Rather, comparing Universities require a consideration of a wide range of issues. Some of these are considered below. (But first, may I emphasise that U.I and OAU are arguably the best Universities in Nigeria. Thus, the Op's question is befitting of their Yale v Harvard status in Nigeria). 1. Location: UI is located in the city of Ibadan. OAU; Ile-Ife. U.I's city-location makes it very attractive to students who want a Life outside campus. But the fact that OAU is located in Ile-Ife is a great advantage, as everything you need/want to do can be done in the University. Remember that the best universities in the world are not located in cities... Harvard, Oxford, Cambridge, etc 2. Infrastructure: I know from personal and professional experience that OAU's architectural design is iconic. It is better than any Nigerian Universitiy. However, OAU student halls are in a terrible state. UI has better halls of residence/better room:student ratio. 3.Entry Requirements: UI has a much more flexible and transparent admission system-It has always been. OAU has an unnecessarily tough admission process-It has always been! 4.Academic Calendar: OAU has been plagued with incessant strikes. However, U.I is also losing it's long-held reputation of having a relatively stable academic calendar. Nevertheless, UI wins hands down! 5. Tuition Fees/Administration: No comparison. Students in OAU have always paid less than their counterparts in UI. OAU wins. But regarding non-academic staff, both have poor academic and non-academic administrators. Unnecessary bureaucracy is the order of the day. 6. Quality of Teaching/Research: By world standards, both are extremely poor. But it appears from my experience that the quality of teaching in UI is probably better. Whilst IFE relies on the 'hard work strategy' of pushing students hard to discover things for themselves, UI generally monitors their lecturers, such that lecturers are made to stick to certain standards. A more scathing summary would be that IFE adopts the 'help yourself' strategy which in turn stimulates academic rivalry among students, while UI believes in 'spoon feeding' students. 6.Lecturership: There are more IFE products that are Deans/Professor than any other University in UI. In fact, UI has a reputation of 'buying' lecturers from Ife. They will not do this if they don't believe in the quality of IFE. This is what IFE does not do. This fuels the perception that OAU is too 'arrogant'. 7.Quality of Alumni & Students: Very difficult. Although UI has obviously produced more graduates, IFE has done very well since it's establishment. Thus, the two schools have produced very distinguished Nigerians. 8.Graduate Prospects: Both are great. Period. 9. Subject Strengths: This is where many people miss it. Both schools have their areas of strengths and weaknesses. For instance, UI has a better PG school-the best in the country. Also, UI's college of medicine is better because of the TH. However, IFE 'S faculty of law, Humanities and some engineering courses are clearly more 'respected' than their counterparts in UI. 10. Notion/Perceptions: Go to IFE if you want to just read and read! You will meet like-minds: people who are ready to die from reading too much! Everything about the University is centred around pushing yourself to the limits. It's a school that will pass through you. Little wonder that they have the most passionate Alumni in Nigeria! Go to UI if you want a less-complicated academic and social life. Everything about the University is normal and within tolerable limits. Read and pass your exams without any drama- And you will be out of UI so soon that you will have no serous emotional ties to the University! But which is better As it is evident from the above indices, It's a tough call! |
Let me make it as short as possible: UI- They have the best PG school in Nigeria. But their unnecessary bureaucracy defeats the goal. Supervisors are tin-gods. Research expectation is extremely poor. OAU-Great lecturer-student ratio. The main problem is DELAY. It's a big problem. Unilorin- Fast and composite calendar. Most Supervisors are tribalistic and religious bigots. Poor research outputs. Unilag- Opportunity to work and study because of the location. But most supervisors are corrupt . All they want is money, money and money! The experience may add no value to you. Covenant, Bowen and Babcock: Extremely fast. Go there if all you want is a PG certificate/PhD conferment. No rigorous research. Very poor research pedigree. Makes you feel like you bought your certificate because of the lack of academic challenge and stimulation. Conclusion: Nigerian Universities are OK for undergraduate programmes. But very poor for PG/ PhD programmes. They lack the basic tools for research. Travel abroad if you are interested in QUALITY. By 'abroad' , I don't mean 'Ghana' and NOT ALL the universities in SA! PG education, especially a PhD programme is not about the certificate. It is much more. |
That an old woman, who has obviously been impoverished by our thieving politicians, was 'spotted' campaigning for the same corrupt politicians, on account of the stipends she has been given, IS NOT NEWS-WORTHY! Nairaland needs to change it's front-page standards. The endless junks that flood the front page is a great disservice to NLers. The difference between NL and blogs is that ANYTHING is NEWS to bloggers. But NL, especially the front page, is known for enriching and educative contents. NL will go down if it tries to focus on junks like this! There are so many wonderful threads that deserve to be on the front page. Yet, the MODs, for reasons best known to them, do not push them to the front page. I love NL so much, but I believe there should be some standards that must be met before a thread is pushed to the front page. |
Responding to some infantile people here is a waste of precious time. Any perspicuous mind here will know that the reason why many folks are attacking Soyinka is not because of the Green Card issue! Far from it! Professor Wole Soyinka is the greatest Nigerian academic-living or dead. PERIOD. Many Soyinka haters are still reeling from his severe criticism of the GEJ regime! Interestingly, most of these people are from the region that are pained that Soyinka won the most prestigious Nobel price, which Prof Achebe could not! That is the REAL cause of their hateful comments. |
rapistomenka: Your comment and the people that liked your comments are the most credible confirmation that Prof. Soyinka is right. Even if you disagree with Soyinka, there's a bridge you should never cross! You and your ilks are blinded by bigotry and poor education, that all you do is to make nasty comments about people you know nothing about. For a start, please google the name 'Wole Soyinka' and report back here if there has ever been a greater African-academic. Well, I'm consoled by the fact that all your rants start and end on social media. People like you cannot even have the opportunity of meeting Soyinka, talk less of repeating in real life what you say under the protective cover of NL! Or where will you see Soyinka? Yale? Harvard? Oxford? NO! Hate-filled poorly educated folks like you can only be found in filthy houses and low-quality universities. You cannot be great in life if you disrespect great people. |
Even if Bolaji Abdullahi is as smooth as Lai Mohammed, no amount of propaganda can repackage a bad govt. Or can Bolaji Abdullahi retell the fact that: the price of petrol has moved from N87 to N141; dollar exchange that was about N230-250 to $1 is now about N475-495 to $1; workers are being owed salaries; and all the prices of goods and services have skyrocketed. Yet, security votes for governors, allowances and estacodes for the president, vp, senators and house of reps members are as constant as ever! Don't be confused. I voted for Buhari. In fact, I actively campaigned for Buhari. Check my old posts. Despite ALL, I don't & can never regret choosing Buhari over GEJ. However, the same reason that made me to abandon GEJ is the reason why I don't see myself voting for/supporting Buhari in 2019.I have no political affiliation. All I am after is the betterment of Nigeria. At the moment, Buhari's govt is BAD for Nigeria. Buhari and his acolytes are repeating GEJ's mistakes. That they won in Edo & Ondo does not prove that Buhari is still loved. Both were local elections. Nigerians will tell Buhari & his team the real truth in 2019. You cannot impoverish them and heap all the blame on the last administration. People voted for Buhari to correct the ills of the last govt, and NOT to give excuses for his failures! |
My initial reaction was: If INEC postponed Edo election days to the election, what stops them from doing same...However, unlike in Edo, sensitive election materials had not been deployed before INEC (due to pressure from Oshiomhole & FG) postponed that election. Besides, Jegede's argument is about logistics, not law. PDP and not Jegede's name is what is on the ballot. The party agents forwarded by the Poroye faction are all members of the PDP. In any event, the role of polling agents is to be present at the distribution of election materials and at the polling booth. The Electoral Act clearly provides that the non-attendance/non recognition of polling agents cannot invalidate an election. Jegede is a SAN. He should know better. The euphoria over the court victory disappeared immediately Jegede/Mimiko returned to the battlefield. Their supporters have left them. Defeat is staring them in the face. Unless the election is postponed, Jegede stands no chance. From feelers, Oke (AD) is the next governor! However, Akeredolu's (APC) federal might must NEVER be underrated. |
My prognosis is coming to fruition...The Mimiko led faction has called for the postponement of the election! Oke is being hounded! The New Buhari Northern Oligarchy are heavily supporting Aketi... If you missed my analysis, here it is: As a keen follower of Ondo politics, I wish to make the following observations: 1. Eyitayo Jegede's guber ambition & Mimiko's plan to elect his successor has hit a sudden stop. The Court of Appeal's decision to indefinitely adjourn Jegede's Appeal means Jimoh Ibrahim will be PDP's candidate in the election. Mimiko & Jegede are left with 3 options.First, work for PDP's (Jimoh Ibrahim) victory and go to Court after the election for Jegede to be declared as the authentic candidate/Governor. Second, Work for Aketi (APC) or Oke (AD). Third, ensure in whatever way necessary that the election is postponed, in order to accommodate the Court's declaration of Jegede as the PDP candidate. But with Mimiko's controversial meeting with Okorocha/Aketi, it appears Mimiko's machinery will work for APC. Part of the bargain may be a promise by the FG not to probe him! 2. Given that the Jegede/Mimiko structure is OUT, the election is now a straight fight between Aketi (APC) and Oke (AD). Jimoh Ibrahim (PDP) is a big joke. Apart from his strange emergence as PDP candidate, his reputation makes him a hard-sell. His business history is riddled with trails of failures and tragedies. Even though it's never good to say 'never' in politics, I can comfortably say that Jimoh Ibrahim can never win. 3. With the vast wealth & 'INEC might' of the FG behind him, Aketi (APC) is arguably the most favoured candidate to win. His chances is even more brighter because if reports that Mimiko will support him. But the ghost of his last attempt still haunts him. Although he did not have the federal backing that he enjoys now, he had an enormous cash-flow from Tinubu. Yet, he could only come a distant third in that election. 4.Wonder why Oke is a strong contender? He had more votes than Aketi in the last election. However, it may be argued that it was because Oke contested under PDP and enjoyed federal power. But any close-watcher of that election would agree that PDP's federal might was exclusively used for Mimiko (GEJ's calculation was that Mimiko (LP) stood a better chance of winning). This was why Mimiko eventually decamped to PDP after the election. But despite the fact that Oke had little support, he surprised many by his sterling performance @ the debate and the votes he garnered. I expect that APC will use their 'federal might' to suppress Oke because he (forget about his party) has a VERY STRONG chance of winning. 5.I know that the serial election-contestant Agunloye (SDP) is contesting. He's not part of the list because his chances are almost null. MY CONCLUSION: * The election is now between Aketi & Oke. However, the real fight is between: Buhari + El Rufai + Fayemi + Fashola + Amosun+Oyegun + The New Buhari Northern Oligarchy & possibly Mimiko AND Tinubu + Aregbesola + Ambode & possibly Fayose*. *Based on current mood, Aketi cannot possibly enjoy the sympathy of most Ondo people. First, his party (APC) has shockingly underperformed and many might vent their frustration by not voting for APC. Second, the fact that his nomination is trailed by an evident belief that the New Buhari Oligarchy wants to impose him cannot sit well with Ondo people that are excessively egotistical. That he was perceived to be Tinubu's boy worked against him the last time. This may Happen again. *However, Aketi and Oke both have the misfortune of being tagged "puppets". Aketi cannot wash-off the tag of The New Buhari Nothern Oligarchy's 'puppet'. Oke cannot also deny the label of 'Tinubu's puppet'. It is now up to Ondo people to decide on the puppet they prefer. *If Oke is able to get financial support from Tinubu/Ambode, it will do him a lot of good. Without enough money, he will lose. *The federal might that Aketi (APC) enjoys makes him an overwhelming favourite. But in a year that Donald Trump won against all odds and 'all might', who says Oke (APC) cannot win ? |

@forlahkhe, First, Op, please don't be misled. There are many infantile 'suggestions' here. Well, that should be expected on a Semi- anonymous forum like NL. So, pls read every comment with the mindset that teenagers and people that have no idea about the institution called 'marriage' are always the first to jump on threads like this. That said, I understand your worries and I empathise with you. But you see, the fact that your marriage is just about 2 years is enough reason for you to calm down. I'm not making sense, right? I know! From experience, the first 2 years of marriage are the most critical. Most marriages go through one form of challenge or the other. So, whatever you are passing through is not unprecedented. It's a phase. I used the words 'calm down' deliberately. By 'calm down', I suggest that you should be as patient as you have never been. Show love (and respect) to him even when he doesn't deserve it. You'll be surprised @ how your story will change. Further, stop the habit of complaining to his parents, and try as much as possible to be gainfully employed. You will command little or no respect from him if you depend on him to get your basic needs. Lastly, you have two wonderful choices. 1. Quit the marriage because of the new generation mentality of 'not taking bullshit from a man' or 2. Be patient, change your strategy, and make your marriage work. The ball is firmly in your court. |
Guitarlife: I understand you. Many Nigerians do not understand the ramifications of plagiarism. If indeed a quick search of the Article on the internet leaves your name out as the main Author, then that is a case of deliberate academic misrepresentation. It is very serious. However, the fact that your authorship is not put to any doubt if the Article is assessed is a reason why I'll advice you not to consider litigation as an option. As a young researcher, I don't even think it's a politically correct thing to do-especially since you are in Nigeria. Nevertheless, you must learn from this experience. Ensure you promptly publish any Article you write in future, and let any co-Author know his limits. *Per your question, feel free to use the Article. Since you are listed as the First Author (on the face of it) there's absolutely no reason for you to fret. |
shinarambo1: Fair point. But what the Op is saying is: Don't bother going to the UK if your intention is NOT to leave immediately after your programme. You still don't get it? Let me explain. Your masters programme gives you a Tier 4 visa status. That visa will expire about four months after the completion of your masters programme i.e. after you must have submitted your dissertation. After this, you have three main options-Leave, marry a British citizen, or Work (by applying for Tier 2 visa or another Tier 4 visa-another masters). The first two are straightforward. The last is technical. To apply for a Tier 2 visa, it must be a job that attracts nothing less than £20,800 per year. Believe me, only 1 out of 10000000000 can be that lucky! Talking about becoming a British Citizen or a permanent resident (indefinite leave to remain) is another kettle of fish. With the new rules, you need to have lived in the UK for about 7-10 years (subject to certain exceptions) to be qualified to apply for permanent residency. It's insane. Countries like Canada, New Zealand are more pro-immigrants. Don't waste your hard earned money. I've taken my time to Give this free info because I don't want more Nigerians to fall for the UK deceit. However, If ALL you want is quality education (and nothing more), the U.K. should be your preferred choice. |
deedrizzie: Many thanks for this. The only thing I have to Add is: we doctors know the truth. The academic profiteers that call themselves 'private universities' can deceive parents to pay ridiculous and unjustifiable fees, but the TRUTH will always have a way of hunting falsehood. YOU CAN'T UNDSTD THIS iF U R NOT A GP! Don't get me wrong. I don't hate private universities. Harvard and many other great uni's are 'private' universities. What I hate is the joke called Nigerian private universities. They are fundamentally structured to serve the classist, religious and economic objectives of their founders. Babcock MBBS! What a joke. |
Nairaland needs to be careful. It is against the principle of fair use for anyone to change a copyrighted work as the Op has done. PUNCH deliberately did not attach the story to RCCG because they know the implication of doing so. In so far as the so-called RCCG member is not a pastor, proving that he's indeed a member of the church is very difficult. Besides, A member of any church does not have any 'status'. Anybody can claim that he's a member of any church. This thread is nothing but a desperate attempt to get traffic. It is shameful and must be condemned. |
Thanks @ Rash for your suggestion! This is a straightforward response to this thread: https://www.nairaland.com/3241884/webometrics-transparent-ranking-universities-2016 That thread is an eye-opener. Many Nigerian graduates/students are too lazy to sieve through information. Rather than think through the so-called Universities Ranking, many went into a ridiculous frenzy as a result of the 'favourable' ratings given to their universities. All else is lost if graduates/students cannot read between the lines and verify any information they read. The most intriguing comment I read is from a purporting student of OAU who ignorantly bashed his Uni because of the vaunted ranking. The Webometric Transparency Rating is not based on academic excellence. But rather, it is mainly based on the number of 'Google Scholar profiles' which are linked to a University. It has NOTHING to do with the academic standard of a University. Little wonder that many of the best Universities in the world are not in the Top 10. Please see below: 1 Harvard University 2 Stanford University 3 Johns Hopkins University 4 University of California Berkeley 5 University of Chicago 6 Massachusetts Institute of Technology 7 University of Cambridge 8 Michigan State University 9 University of Oxford 10 Columbia University New York 11 University College London 12 University of Michigan 13 University of California San Diego 14 Yale University 15 McMaster University 16 Duke University 17 University of California Los Angeles UCLA 18 Temple University 19 Princeton University 20 Carnegie Mellon University http://www.webometrics.info/en/node/169 From the list, you will see that many Fifth rate Universities are in the Top 10. For example, a University like Michigan State University that consistently ranks very Low in the US and the World is ranked ahead of Oxford, Yale and many other Universities. According to THE TIMES, Michigan State University is ranked 99th in the world. See https://www.timeshighereducation.com/world-university-rankings/michigan-state-university Moreover, Yale is ranked 14th while John Hopkins, Berkeley, Chicago and Michigan State Universities are ranked 3rd, 4th, 5th and 8th respectively. Does it mean that these Universities are better than Yale, Cambridge and Oxford? No! Not in this world. This same logic applies to IFE and UNILAG that are ranked quite low in the so-called Transparency Ranking. As mentioned earlier, the Transparent Webometric Ranking is based on the number of google scholar accounts linked to a University. It should not be confused with the main WEBOMETRIC RANKING OF UNIVERSITIES. Although it is also CONTROVERSIAL (as it is not a measurement of the quality of a University), it is, however, the MAIN Webometric Ranking. Fascinatingly, UNN that is Rated 1st (because of the number of Google Scholar Profiles linked to the University) is ranked 8th in the main 2016 Webometric Ranking. Please see the link: http://www.webometrics.info/en/Africa/Nigeria Let me use this opportunity to emphasise that ALL our Universities are below world standards. We need a complete overhaul of our educational system. @Seun Osewa, @Lalasticlala, @olawalebabs, @Fynestboi, @Richiez, @Mukina2- Front page, please. |

Below is a short response to this thread--- https://www.nairaland.com/3244517/counter-thread-transparent-ranking-universities |
I congratulate the young man. He has done well for himself. But what the heck is this new poverty mentality of 'celebrating' grads from foreign universities? What is the front page quality of this thread? He did not graduate from a top rated University neither is his father a household name in Nigeria! Or why on earth will graduating from Manchester (not even with a First class) be packaged as a big deal ? And why is being a former AIG so big that his son graduating from a third class Uni is news worthy? It is completely asinine. This trend has to stop. |
My account of events before and after the sad day is on many threads. To sum it up in the shortest summary possible, July 10, 1999 was about 'Freedom'. The people that invaded Ife and their cohorts wanted their own warped idea of 'Freedom'. Although they won the battle (because they silenced the voice of Afrika), they however lost the war. From that day on, Ife became totally Free from all semblances of cultism. The invaders and their allies underestimated the collective will of Great Ife students. Let it be told, every time, that IFE remains the only Tertiary University in Nigeris where students collectively conquered cultism. |
This is very misleading. To 'invent' is to create. There are so many gas-powered irons in the market. So how can this be his invention? I'm always quick at celebrating ingenuity, but this is not INGENIOUS! Don't get me wrong. The young chap has done very well, but let's always say the truth. This is not an invention. It's a caricature. Nigeria will only be respected in the comity of nations if and when we have genuine inventions. |
The governor is right, in part: Ogah cannot be sworn in when there's a subsisting appeal and application for stay. INEC is also right in part: They are bound to issue the certificate of return if Ikpeazu's appeal & application for stay was not served on them. The Court's judgment must be obeyed. My Verdict: The ppl that are blaming Buhari are very ignorant. Is Ogah in APC? Was Ikpeazu removed by Buhari? NO! He was removed by the Court: a Southerner Judge! So, stop hating Buhari unnecessarily. After all, a certificate of return is not the same as being Sworn in as Governor. Until Ikpeazu loses his appeal(s), Ogah cannot be sworn in as Governor. He's still the Governor. |
My first thought: From what I watched, a so-called Pastor is seen touching the 'privates' of some group of men.Nothing in the video confirms that he was praying for an increase in their 'sizes'. I have to point this out because we are in an age where bloggers can manipulate anything for traffic! Who knows whether the altar call was to pray against impotence? However, even if it is for that, it is unbiblical and wrong for him to touch their 'members'. Second thought: If true that it was for penis enlargement, then it buttresses the well-held fact that many men are not comfortable with their sizes. Just look at the number of men! Almost all the men in the church ... Third thought: The world is really coming to an end. Praying to God for penis enlargement is ridiculous, but a pastor making an altar call for it is WORSE. I can't imagine what will happen if this strange pastor wants to 'cure' breast or vaginal cancer!!! Well, I'm a Christian, and I understand that we are in the last days ... |

Senator Adeyeye is one of the coded APC supporters of Saraki. Although his loyalty to Tinubu & Aregbesola has never been questioned, he certainly likes his position as Chief Whip and he knows that any change of hands can affect his position. Remember the golden rule in politics: Self-interest! That said, Sen Adeyeye goofed. The law does not respect the popularity of Saraki in the Senate. Rather, the position of the law is that a person convicted of forgery is liable to 14 years imprisonment. Or what will become of Saraki's much vaunted popularity if he's jailed? Again, Sen Adeyeye needs to realise that Saraki's tradducers are not interested in impeaching him. They know that It is almost impossible to achieve that. This explains why they are using the court-option- which is deadlier. Many do not know that if Saraki is found guilty by the Court or CCT, he'll certainly be booted out of office and probably jailed. So, this is certainly not the best of times for Saraki. He has 2 serious cases against him. They are serious because any of the cases can kill his political career FOR LIFE! Although Sen Saraki may probably escape being found guilty of forgery (because it will be difficult to prove that he forged), it will however be difficult for him to extricate himself from the second charge of Conspiracy to Commit Forgery! |
If true, I beseech UNIBEN to REVOKE his certificate. He's an embarrassment to all First Class degree holders. It's clear from the elicited NYSC certificate that he just finished service in May, 2016. So why the ridiculous hurry? Well, my advise to NL undergrads is to ignore this rubbish thread and strive to make a First (if you can). A First is a life - changer. I'm a living witness. |
NL is very diverse. There are many school drop outs and foreign countries- hunters on NL.Also, there are people that politicise or economise every thread! So, sieve all comments very well. Below is my advice: 1.Nothing compares to the future of your children. 2.It is now extremely difficult to bring up children in many western countries where gangsterism, gays, n different forms of sexual perversion pervades. 3.Living in societies where cases of children beating their parents is no longer news can affect the psyche of the best trained children. 4. According to researchers, the environment a child grows in has the biggest influence on a child. That said, Op must consider that Bringing up a child in Nig has many downsides too. There's a v high level of immorality, cultism and Many other things you can think of! So you see, it's neither here nor there. However, the advantages of living in Nigeria are:1.You will have more time to train your children. It's diff for Nigerians living abroad to have time for their kids, as they spend more time away from home. The husband and wife, that is! 2. Your children will be more exposed to your religion! Therefore, pls consider the pros and cons. It's a difficult decision. If you decide to return, ensure u are financially buoyant. It's easier to bring up your children when they school and live in lekki...than say for instance, Ajegunle! |
Saddenedsoul: Just do 4 things: 1. Ignore all assumptions and calm down. 2. Bombard him with more care and SHOW him x2 how much you love him 3. Never read his messages again. 4. Keep praying for him and your family. Please ignore any suggestion that you should "confront", "investigate" or "discuss" with him. It is dangerous. Don't be misled by unmarried nairalanders. Welcome to MARRIAGE, my dear. |
stephanie11: @Seun, Lalastica, or whoever the mod is: I see myself as a Nairaland stakeholder. In fact, I 'advertise' this forum at every opportunity I get. But a thread as this one reduces the credibility and integrity of NL. Just see the way Linda Ikeji reported the same news: http://www.lindaikejisblog.com/2016/05/photos-from-senator-peter-nwaoboshi.html?m=1 The time has come for Seun & d MODs to choose verisimility over traffic. It will pay on the long run! This forum will die if it is no longer seen as credible. I hope Seun will take note of this and ensure that threads like this do not make front page. I'm mentioning Seun's name as many times as possible because I don't trust his MODs. Or how can I trust the judgment of MODs that give childish titles to threads that make the front page? |
Nairaland political commentators are more than funny! To start with, the OP probably thinks Ribadu & Okonjo Iweala have the same good image they had under the OBJ years! Well, sorry to burst your bubble, Ribadu & Okonjo now have tainted CVs. Ribadu ended his political career by associating with GEJ. Okonjo finished her good public record by coordinating the economy of the most corrupt govt since 1999. Well, since this thread has been reduced to a JOKE, lemme add mine: Party: PDP Sarah Jubril- President VP- Fayose Min of Finance- Dasuki Min of state for finance- Diezani Min of Information: Dokpesi Min of Petroleum:Bode George Min of state for Petroleum: Tompolo Min of Defence: Nnamdi Kanu Min of Education: Shekau Min of Culture: Fani Kayode EFCC chairman: Olisa Metuh INEC chairman: Ubah Senate President: Theodore Orji Speaker: Omisore |
As it is evident from the above indices, It's a tough call!
