To the glory of God my prince charming came to this beautiful world yesterday(sunday) weighing 3.8kg to grace us. Hmmm I couldn't stand labour pain ooo opted for cs straight at just 2cm after virginal examination, doctor begged me to wait a little so he can help me do sweep membrane I no hear. Didn't know labour pain is this painful, abeg cs all d way for me( I have very low threshold for pain). I wish all remaining mamas easy and stressfree delivery/according to your heart desires. Still coming with my full birth story. Make I rest small.

Good morning everyone. I swear I'm not a bearer of bad news, i'm not. Hubby traveled so I was home alone last night. Next thing I knew, my thoughts started gravitating towards stories I had heard of people who died in child birth. I tried so had to push the thoughts away and I read my bible and slept off. This morning, I was browsing through Bellanaija and saw the story of a Yoruba actress that died in childbirth. I quickly shut down the page and opened Nairaland only for the first story my eyes could see was the woman who died in child birth at FMC Asaba and now my whole body is shaking like that of a jellyfish.

I confess with my whole heart today that supernatural birth is the portion of everyone here. Just as we have heard several BAs without loss, so shall it continue. The devil and his cohorts will not triumph over us In Jesus name. Amen

Talking of wierd pregnancy dreams

I dreamt that I harvested big snails.....(I knw they say dreaming abt harvesting snails means pregnancy) but I'm pregnant, so I don't get why I had this dream. The snails were so big and plenty that people who saw it exclaimed. Iol.

@chanbaby, its unfortunate that ur mum not MIL will try to cause a rift in ur marriage .
Firstly the essence of omugwuo is for the new mum n baby to be taken care of throughout the omugwuo period, ur mum asking u to serve her is very weird.

Secondly, if she holds her grandchild and u in high esteem, she had no reason what so ever to make u miss ur appointment because of food. Pls this needs to be addressed so they won't be a next time.

Thirdly she has no right to take ur baby for weekends without ur husband's permission. If she doesn't knw how to seek permission n respect her inlaw, pls reach her, insist she seeks permission from hubby n ensure u get his approval b4 releasing his child. This doesn't mean u don't want her to have access to her grandchild, it means u respect ur crown n u submit to his decisions. Your husband is ur no 1 , others are secondary.

Lastly ur mum can only beg u n hubby to dedicate her grandchild in her church, and if u guys see reasons with her, u can agree, but if u are not used to her church, or if u both are workers in ur own church, u can always say no. Mama has no right to order or conclude on anything pertaining to ur baby pls.

And pls never forget this, if u allow it mum boss u around n there is a rift in ur marriage, she will not accommodate u, she will not take care of u or ur baby, she will remind u always that her home is not ur husband's home, so plsss let her boss any1 she likes in her own husband's house. You are in charge of ur home, and pls be firm with her, let her knw that u are married n u submit to ur hubby, if she doesn't like it, let her leave...the highest she will do is tell people u didn't let her stay in ur home, people will talk, n it will die down.

Pls try n talk to hubby, tell him u will take care of ur mum, n act upon it. May God help you handle this issue.
Its not easy...esp wen it involves ones mum.

momas in that house ,pls can some1 recommend a cough syrup for me, I've been having cough m catarrh since sat, for the catarrh I'm managing with pax inhaler, but the cough I don lick baba blue finish no way, i ate bitter kola today,yet I'm still coughing. Pls I can't go to hospital now my appointment is next mnth, and I don't trust some of this pharmacies with sales people (no pharmacist) we are 17weeka plus pls

In other news, yesterday was my ist yr anniversary, couldn't come online to share, I'm grateful to God for this 1yr of blissful marriage, and I pray for more bliss, fruitfulness n blessings. Mbok make una share in my joy o. There was no cake, I craved for hot dog meat prepared with plantain and scent leaves, so hubby took me to this rugged joint, mehn....I downed the combo with some chilled palmy.... . I can't trade that for chicken mbok.....hahahahahaa

Momma, jjc is allowed ooooo. I think you shud visit the hospital for and complain to a Dr. Since it's still early, u don't need to reg for ANC before u go to the hospital. Bit I know it won't be something serious, its just to be on the safe side. Hope you are the MS is not treating u bad ?

Na so I see am ooo, my previous post baby belle no enter finish(after loosing my baby @birth) b4 this blessing reach my side again oooo . I draw consolation in Hubby's comforting words. 'Baby don't worry, the bump will remain like this for a long time' I just hope sooo. @6wks sef almost evry1 knew I was pregnant. Lol

I am so happy to be able to post here as I have been reading posts and birth stories. I just tested positive today as this is the day I was supposed to get period but thank God it travelled. My app says I'm exactly 4weeks today according to LMP(23 Feb). This is going to be my first baby and I'm both scared and excited lol. I pray for a smooth, happy and healthy pregnancy. My due date again according to LMP is November 29th which happens to be my birthday. Isn't God wonderful? To think I was conceived around same time years ago too

I thank You for this miracle growing inside me, in the "secret place" of my womb. I thank you that You are giving this little baby to us as a gift, but also as a gift for the world. We can't wait to see another image of Yourself come forth into this world and the plans You have for this child.

We ask you, Father, in Jesus' name, to hedge our little baby about with Your mighty protection. Watch over this little one each day as You intricately create him/her in the hidden sanctuary of the womb. We ask for Your divine health and that you will sustain me in good health and vitality throughout this whole pregnancy.

I ask that You will fill me with Your joy and that everyone will see the glory of God upon me as I nurture this precious life within me. Thank You again for this amazing miracle and for giving us an eternal soul that will live forever. It is awesome to think that I am part of something eternal.

I pray that You will keep this baby growing in the womb until FULL TERM and this baby will come forth in Your perfect timing.
