RuudVanNisteroy: Hussaini Coomassie, a United Nations Ambassador for Peace and Social Justice has said that the president, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) ought to use force against #EndSARS protesters.
Quoting Russian president, Vladimir Putin, the ambassador said that Buhari should do what was necessary and not necessarily follow due process to ensure peace in Nigeria.
Can't an accomplished politician prosper in peace again?
A man that singlehandedly built Lagos from scratch doesn't deserve to own a mansion. Now I know how backward people's reasoning are in this part of the world.
Finnese001: Amara The Lesbian Joins EndSARS Protests
This country is really funny, in the midst of a very crucial time like this where well meaning Nigerians are fighting for the future of this country. Some people that called themselves LGBT community are also trying to take advantage of it by protesting for LGBT rights.
Though I'm not against them fighting for their rights but why must it be now we are fighting for something more important and will benefit the country at large and not for one selfish people's right to sex.
sammy329: That's what I'm thinking too. SARS has been disbanded, the president also said it, why are these MISCREANTS still shouting #Endsars. It seems some of them are having an intention of revolution, FG should just use force on these THUGS.
Protests is not needed again, why waste more lives. FG is too soft on these THUGS, by now I expect the DSS to have arrested 80% of the influencers fanning flames of war on twitter.
For using thugs to qualify protesting youths shows you not well trained and mannerless. Na ur type go dey shout black live matters but you r here calling your fellow Nigerians THUGS. U need brain check
Built2last: This woman Aisha Yesufu and many other women REPRESENT all shades of courage. History will be kind to her when her actions are written on the checkered pavements of mortals.
While many cared less, many others jumped into the #ENDSARSNOW campaign because they like trends. Either ways its appreciated. This woman has never been silent from day one. She supported this government to power but has never stop lashing out at them and done everything to hold the government accountable. she has stood her ground at all times. Cowards die many times before their time but Aisha is far from being a coward. She is a patriot.
She was called unprintable names by agents of evil and Detractors. She kept moving. Today I celebrate her for her COURAGE, TEMERITY, VALOUR, INTREPIDNESS, PLUCK AND AUDACITY. I also celebrate her husband for allowing her be her. Her husband deserves some accolades and men must learn from him on what it means to allow women chase their dreams. We celebrate Runtown for setting the pace in Lagos before other celebrities followed. Dr Dipo Awojide and Wizkid held sway in London. Davido flew down to Abuja to join. The campaign travelled round the globe and Nigeria was on the news till the pressure built up.
The precedent has been set and we shall not look back.
Police has no right to slap you, search your phone or call you criminal. That's the duty of the court. Our live matters. Well done to all who participated online or offline to #EndSARS
Abdulazeez99: Pop singer Wizkid has fired back at the special assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on social media Lauretta Onochie after she criticised him for ‘insulting’ the president on Sunday.
It all started after the ‘Ojuelegba’ singer knocked Buhari for wishing US President Donald Trump a “quick recovery from COVID-19” amid the security tension in Nigeria.
Wizkid had taken to his Twitter page to vent his annoyance at the president, describing him as an “old man” who should be paying attention to issues in the country rather than in the United States, Igbere TV reports.
He spoke amid outrage against the Special Anti-robbery Squad (SARS) after a video showing a man allegedly gunned down in Delta by operatives of the police unit went viral.
Due to the public outcry, Igbere TV reports that the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Mohammed Adamu had banned SARS from undertaking routine patrols and search duties.
Celebrities also called for protest using the ‘EndSARS’ hashtag, with Runtown volunteering to lead a march against police brutality at the Lekki toll gate on Thursday.
