This is a failed coalition ab-initio. You wish! We know you want the coalition to fail so your Tinubu can stand a chance. But the coalition will work and you won’t see them coming. |
Politics › I Have Been Part Of Coalition From Day One; Attended All Meetings - Peter Obi by Penguin2(op): 1:00pm On Jun 30, 2025 |
Speaking on Parallel Facts X Space yesterday, Peter Obi stated that he has been part of the coalition from the first day and has attended all meetings of the coalition. They don’t know what is coming . Former presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Mr. Peter Obi, has said he cannot tell for now what his next action would be if the proposed political coalition fails to adopt him as the presidential candidate.
This is even as he allayed the fears of his supporters concerning his role in the proposed coalition, saying he had never done anything in politics without consultation.
Obi stated this on Sunday while answering questions during a media space hosted by ParallelFact on X.
DAILY POST reports that the proposed coalition is being led by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, ex-governors Nasir El-Rufai, Rotimi Amaechi, among other political leaders.
During the media space, the former Anambra State Governor was asked what would be his next action if the proposed political coalition fails to produce him as the presidential candidate.
However, Obi said it wasn’t yet time to disclose what his next line of action will be, adding that the coalition was yet to adopt a party.
Obi said: “From day one, I have always attended every meeting of the coalition unless I travelled. Whenever I have issues, I always discuss with them. I can’t tell you the coalition is the one going to produce Peter Obi. When we reach to that stage, we discuss that.
“But the coalition is us coming together to save the country. We haven’t reached the stage we say it’s going to be this person. I believe that people who are coming together are decent people that want to work for the interest of the [country]. That’s my belief.
“And if that’s the case, I believe there will come a time all of us will sacrifice for the country. That’s how I see it. At that time, we will ensure that the best among us emerges as [candidate].
“The coalition wants to adopt a party. And we are going to do that very soon. Other parties will still join. The reason other parties have not joined is because there’s problem in their parties.
“I wish I can answer you that question, but unfortunately for now, I can’t. I know I have told you the coalition is not talking about who will be this or what. I will do what’s in the best interest of the country and what those I lead and are following me want. I don’t discuss such things on my own.
“Few times leaders have acted as if they were alone, without consultation. It’s not yet time. Now we just want to come together. For me, when that time comes, you will see, and I will consult. I will then tell what I am going to do. I have never done anything without consultation. If you were among those close to me, you would know that I consulted before I left the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. I didn’t just wake up in the morning and say I will do this. And if I become President, I wouldn’t just go around announcing things without consultation.” https://dailypost.ng/2025/06/30/coalition-what-i-will-do-if-i-dont-get-presidential-ticket-peter-obi/

Politics › So What Did Reno’s Mail Prove? by Penguin2(op): 12:07pm On Jun 30, 2025*. Modified: 1:49pm On Jun 30, 2025 |
Reno Omokri finally released his ‘almighty mail’ that he has been threatening about and I could see some people rejoicing over it that he truly recommended Obi as Atiku’s running mate in 2019 and I can’t help but shudder at the level of mass ignorance we currently have in Nigeria.
Because if there was anything that Reno’s mail prove, it’s the fact that he was an errand boy to Atiku who was assigned the duty of collecting files. Simple and end.
The people who do not understand this much are people who have never done anything reasonable with their lives.
Because for most of who work in corporate environment, we understand that the boss does not receive those kind of files directly to his mail especially when it’s meant for onward passage to another body like INEC which the aides would still be the ones to do.
All the courtesies Peter Obi accorded him on the mail just showed that Obi has always been a gentle man even when he is relating with a subordinate.
So, I don’t know if there’s anything else that Reno and his delusional followers are rejoicing over because if it’s the mail he released, it has actually made more fool of him than achieve what he intended it to.

Here you are again — repeating the same tired script, churning out hollow analysis, verbose epistles, and baseless political fantasies that collapse like a pack of cards.
If 2023 didn’t humble you, 2027 will. And this time, the lesson will be even harder. Tinubu was defeated in 2023. The only reason he’s in Aso Rock today is because of INEC. I don’t expect you to agree with the above. Please continue to live in denial. But just inform y’all that nobody will take any silly excuses from INEC in 2027. And nobody will listen to “go to court”. Tell Tinubu to bring his game on. |

I know Tinubu will run with Kwankwaso as his running mate in 2027 but that will be Kwankwaso’s greatest undoing and he shortest route to ignominy.
Tinubu will be smoked out of Aso Rock in 2027.
