The Bye Election has come and gone and winners declared by INEC .

But one thing that stood out to all political watchers is that the supposed coalition party candidates didn’t win any of the contested seats across the states. This has made naysayers to begin to write off the coalition already; declaring that 2027 is already a done deal for Tinubu. But is it?

Should we judge 2027 by results of this bye election? I guess not.

You know why? Because people are rarely interested in these bye elections unlike the general election where there’s usually almost a nationwide lockdown and people are eager to go out and vote.

Or should we expect that this is what 2027 will look like?

We’ve not been president nor vice for nearly 50 years and we are still the richest tribe in Nigeria and will continue to be. So, you don’t threaten us with that rubbish.

You lots can queue up and vote for Tinubu in 2027. And when he’s done, let him handover to the north with another Yoruba as Vice President. And when they are done, let another Yoruba become president.

And through that circle, the north will still be the most backward region in Nigeria playing catch up to the Southeast.

So, tell your people to keep the presidency for a 100 years.

This submission makes all the sense available. The North can't always eat their cake and still have it. Their cup is full, it's pay back time. It's either Tinubu continues or Obi comes in. Most likely I believe Tinubu will continue and completely or significantly undo all their strangle hold in vital sectors of the economy. This will force the North to look inwards and come up with vital self discovery for survival thats unique to them outside power play all the time that's done nothing for the common man. It's a great time to be alive in Nigeria to see real change loading.

I had this argument with some guy on Twitter who was trying to preach to me on how Obi should accept to be Atiku’s running mate in 2027 so that ‘Igbos can get into the corridors of power’.

I told him one thing, the north keeps playing that game with us and it’s time we stopped them from using us. And this is not even any southern solidarity nonsense, it’s the fact that the north needs to be taught that they are not the only ones who know how to play the power game.

So, in 2027, if they are tired of Tinubu, let them support Obi and Obi alone as the alternative.

If they are not ready, then let Tinubu finish his 8 years. And just like you have said, I trust Tinubu and Wike to break every stranglehold they have anywhere when they return for second term.

We won’t be the worst off.

Remove Obi because as far as the North are concern Obi does not exist in the North. Why do you think they are courting Jonathan. If Jonathan knows that the coast is clear then nothing can stop him from winning. So he need to have assurance that Atiku will sit aside. Those numbers he had in the last election he won't have them this time.

That's the important thing not a counter affidavit that inec refused to take a stand on all the while the confusion was ongoing
I heard the court gave judgement in favor of Abure. If that's correct then the affidavit is not worth the ink in which it was typed

The court struck out Abure’s suit which is what actually elicited celebration in Nenadi Usman’s camp.

INEC has used their own mouth to say that they recognize the Supreme Court judgment under oath.

And now, court is ordering INEC to enlist SDP candidates for the election after INEC has printed Ballot Papers for the election.

What that means is that the Saturday Bye-election haff dabaru.

Because INEC cannot reprint new ballot papers within tomorrow alone.

And if they go ahead with the election, they will be in contempt of court; rendering the election null and void.

In trying to do the bidding of their paymasters, INEC shot themselves on the leg.

ADC will win the two seats up for grabs in Anambra on Saturday.
