mrvitalis: 400,000 hectares of land for less than at 4 cows per hectares that's 1.6 million cows per year ....at $700 per cow u get around 1.2 billion dollars at most as income to the farmers ...tax of say 20% u get around $220 million dollars per year at best ooh ......job created 1 per 20 hectares ...20,000 low paying jobs around minimum wage
400,000 hectares of cassava would get at least 15 tons per hectares with improve roots ... That's 6 million tons per year ...this can support industrial cluster of cassava flour plant , ethenol plant , glucose plant , pharmaceutical grade start plant ,this can also support 2 million pigs per year from the waste from this factories and farm ...
This can create over 50,000 high paying jobs directly and 20000 indirect jobs ...the value of products generated would be over 6 billion dollars
Which is better I’m not in support of RUGA but this analogy no make sense. Nigeria is already the highest producer of cassava in the world. What are we doing with it? Make them just leave the land idle for there. |

We don enter one chance for this country.
So priority is what the pastoralist can and cannot afford.
Doesn’t matter if it’s illegal.
Or if indigenous people are going to be displaced.
Lemme tell y’all something... The plan is to give these herdsmen a permanent foothold in the states wherever RUGA is established. 30 or 50 or 100 years from today, they shall have grown large enough to challenge or even displace indigenous people of the entire state. Don’t forget that every RUGA settlement will become a home for every Fulani; local or foreign, Nigerian or Malian or Nigerien or Congolese.
Stay woke guys! Their mission is on... |

jfking2005: Have you been able to link the card successfully with your PayPal?? If that process failed then all transactions will fail
Your problem is because they rejected few actions from your account that made them flagged it
Pls chat them up on their platform , they have customer service instant message platform and they will assign someone to help you
They will look at your card back end and advise you I am telling from personal experience I faced same problem last December when my GTB Dollar card expired but I followed through and get it sorted . They thought it was a scam til I chat them up and they verified me through my registered mobile. Once that was done they advised me on other aspects and my card was successful registered and payment went through. Thank you baba! First, I successfully linked the card to my account and even got a mail notification to that effect. Second, I’ve tried chatting them up and they said they have limited customer care staffing due to Covid restrictions. Because I wanted them to look at my card from their end and tell me what the issue is. What I am yet to understand is why they rejected my UBA MasterCard after first payment through that same card was successful. |

jfking2005: My friend i have been there before and i used GTB dollar card and its well accepted, just ensure the card details is updated correctly and also make sure you are able to prove the means of identification, they will require that all your information is consistent across board. They will send a authentication code to your registered mobile number as a means of verification once you received it and use it to validate, finally ensure you enabled authentication anytime you want to log-in... this is also very important once all is passed they will open it for you. Lastly they will perform their own debit transaction (very small amount) to validate your card but the money will be refunded within 3-5 days....but this runs in parallel anyway.................then good to go!! Trust me, I’m frustrated. I think my details are consistent across board. And there’s no authentication they sent that I declined. I’ve been trying to make a payment to a certain website through PayPal but PayPal keeps rejecting my cards. It has rejected 3 cards already and this is frustrating.
First was GTBANK Naira MasterCard. I later found out I can’t use the naira MasterCard for such payments.
Second was UBA MasterCard and the bank told me it’s eligible for payments on PayPal with maximum spending of $100 per month. After a first transaction of $10 went successfully, PayPal started saying “This Card cannot be used to make this payment” and that was it. They started rejecting the card.
Now I went back to GTBANK and got a Dollar Prepaid MasterCard and deposited $200 in it because GTBank customer care told me the dollar MasterCard is eligible for payment anywhere but PayPal is still rejecting it.
Who uses PayPal? Please what do I do? This is so frustrating. |

Politics › Re: Biafra Republic Versus Igbo Republic by Penguin2: 6:58am On Jun 17, 2021 |
ScamHunter: My dear, let me tell you what you do not know. Igbos want an Igbo ONLY country, but for some unknown reasons, IPOB wants the 1967 Biafra, plus other Igbos not captured in that Biafra. These are Igbos in Edo, Delta, Kogi and Benue. Some think it may be because of access to the sea that they want the minorities in the South, but that should not be an issue. Even if Ijaw, Ogoni, Annang, Ibibio and Ikwerre refuse to join Biafra, the Igbo nation can create access to the sea through the Urashi River and River Niger. But if the Ikwerre who deny their Igboness and Opobo which is owned by Igbo become part of the new nation, that would not be an issue since these are bounded by the Atlantic. So with either Opobo or Ikwerre, Biafra would have direct access to the sea, but if these vote in a referendum not to be part of Biafra, dredging the River Niger and Urashi River would be the options left. This could be settled through a maritime agreement. Afterall, oil and gas are piped from the SE and SS all the way to the North and beyond. So accounts can be balanced with that.
Having said that, let me also say that if Igbos leave Nigeria without the Southern minorities, it will be a tough call for them to get their own country. These things just do not work that way. You see, Igbo are paying the price of self determination and it is only a matter of time for the world to hear them. Let me tell you what will happen then. The call for referendum will be honored and that referendum will be for all Igbo in Nigeria and the former Biafra of 1967. Nevertheless, the minorities such as Ijaw can speak up loudly not to be included in the referendum but I doubt that that would work with the UN. All would be made to participate and decide if they would be part of Biafra or not. That is when people like your daddy can make their voices heard. Ijaw is a closely knit tribe and I am sure that they can make their voices heard as one people and decide not to be part of Biafra. In which case, they revert back to Nigeria when Igbo and others that vote Yes exit.
Now on a final note, do not think that Ijaw and the minorities would casually demand for a referendum after Igbo has gone. It doesn't work that way, the choice before them is join Igbo or remain in Nigeria. There is no middle ground. I suspect that this is why IPOB is insisting on carrying along the minorities - the power in numbers. If Biafra exits without the minorities, not even in 100 years would they have the voice to get a referendum from the UN. They lack that clout as minorities, so their voice is Igbo. You can take a cue from the Kurds in Iraq and Turkey who have been agitating for decades. Igbo are paying with resilience and blood. Can the minorities do that when Igbo are gone? Good luck to you. Oil dey your head abeg. But methinks when date for referendum is fixed, a vigorous campaign will be embarked upon to make these people understand the benefits of joining Biafra than remaining in Nigeria to become an infinitesimal fraction of with the only hope of blowing up oil pipeline whenever they are aggrieved. The Ijaws better not make a mistake that their Children will grow up to curse them for. |

budaatum: 1973, just so you know how far back
Do you know that Ajaokuta was never even completed and has never produced any steel to date, and even if it had been completed we'd be talking of decommissioning it now because it would be out of date? I would not talk about it in the same breathe as the Mambilla Hydroelectric Power Station, to be honest, which is a work in progress.
Ajaokuta Steel Company Limited (ASCL) popularly known as Ajaokuta Steel Mill is a steel mill in Nigeria, located in Ajaokuta, Kogi State, Nigeria. Built on a 24,000 hectares (59,000 acres) site starting in 1979, it is the largest steel mill in Nigeria, and the coke oven and byproducts plant are larger than all the refineries in Nigeria combined. However, the project was mismanaged and remains incomplete 40 years later. Three-quarters of the complex have been abandoned, and only the light mills have been put into operation for small-scale fabrication and the production of iron rods. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ajaokuta_Steel_Mill?wprov=sfla1
The Mambilla Hydroelectric Power Station, is a 3,050 MW hydroelectric power project under development in Nigeria. When completed, it will be the largest power-generating installation in the country, and one of the largest hydroelectric power stations in Africa. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mambilla_Hydroelectric_Power_Station?wprov=sfla1
One is worse than a rotten and abandoned Peugeot 204 and can not be restored because it was never fully built to begin with. If Ajeokuta had become totally worthless, successive governments wouldn’t be in negotiations with the Russian company that built it to try to revive it. I agree that most of the installations there must have gone obselete but experts believe the company holds great potentials to be answer to most of deficiencies in raw materials in our Real Estate sector. |
