I usually see anyone against zoning as a very cantankerous idiot who should not exist among sane humans. How can someone who claims to have brain be against order?
It’s the issue I have with the North thinking of retaining power after Buhari.
It is the problem I have with stupid and corrupt Ekweremadu in Enugu state for wanting to distort the zoning arrangement that favours Enugu East Senatorial district and take it to Enugu West.
It’s same issue I have with Ezza people in Ebonyi state who swearing that it is their turn to be governor even though they are in Ebonyi Central while it is the turn of Izzi people of Ebonyi North to be governor.
These are idiotic fools who have a reasoning faculty of an animal.
Kingstanding: . That is to tell south east people that they have no single leaders in there region except Senator Abaribe. I'm from South west best the way South east governors are decamping to APC show that all southern leaders are not worthy to be calling leaders but dealers. Posterity will never be kind to them all to their fourth generation.
You have a great point.
But existentially, their defections was necessary.
Because the country is drifting towards a one party state which won’t be good for us.
PDP has been very toothless in opposition.
You see a lot of atrocities, flip flops and all, from this administration that you would expect PDP to use to punch the APC but they end up releasing a stale statement with no deep cutting effect.
I think their choice of spokesman is what caused it. If that Fayose spokesman had won, trust me, he would have been lacerating APC on daily basis.
Now they need a strong candidate to help them put up a fight in the coming election because their nationwide structure is daily being depleted.
eeithis: So if you are staying in akure oke -ogba you will notice nepa has not taking light since day before yesterday not even a blink this is commendable governor akeredolu is really trying!!
It’s not Akeredolu, it’s Buhari.
I think his contract with the German company is paying off. Plus it’s rainy season now; Kainji turbines are swinging at full velocity.
Rugaria: They have recruited Hope Uzodinmma in Imo State to help them loot the gas resources of Eastern Nigeria. They're now trying to tinker with the boundaries off Imo State to slice off gas rich areas and dash those to Nyesomghosa Wikevie... In order to maintain order, they're starting fires every where in Imo State to create a fake state of panic in order to militarize the state.. It's the duty of every igboman alive to make sure that the fulani/Yoruba economic parasites will never loot the gas resources of the east the same way they wasted the oil resources on owambe, Dubai and London mansions and on private jets..
garfield1: The All Progressives Congress (APC) has said that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is panicky because the ruling platform now has “over 40 million members.”
In a statement, John Akpan Udoedehe, Secretary of the Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee said the PDP was clutching on straws.
The APC said it is providing critical infrastructure, access to education, health facilities and empowering citizens.
The scribe accused PDP governors of wasting resources on meetings while owing workers and pensioners.
The opposition had in a communique queried loans procured by the President Muhammadu Buhari administration.
APC members are ‘cultists’ – PDP
The PDP further alleged that the current leadership is claiming projects executed by past governments.
“Perhaps, the PDP is referring to the litany of abandoned projects it left all over the country despite 16 years in power and receiving unprecedented earnings when crude oil sold for $150 per barrel.”
The APC said it is executing the Second Niger Bridge, the Lagos-Ibadan dual carriageway, the Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano road, the Abuja-Akwanga-Lafia-Makurdi highway, among others.
Udoedehe also mentioned completion and commissioning of the Lagos-Ibadan twin track railway, and mocked the PDP for failing to complete the Abuja-Kaduna rail line concluded by the Buhari administration.
“PDP needs to be reminded that It was because of its failures that Nigerians rejected it twice in 2015 and 2019. This loss is obviously still haunting the PDP and has caused disarray within its ranks and created irreconcilable divisions.
I have issues with Kano saying people should not drink beer, but hosting a mega crusade in a predominantly Muslim state with history of hostility towards opposing religious beliefs, is the height of insensitivity by whoever invited Reinhard Bonke to Kano.
Go to church quietly and pray quietly in your room; if they attack you, then they are looking for trouble. But why organize mega crusade with mega phones possibly.
People that want to be more Christian than Christ himself.
Folklore has it that there was a man who stole the panties of a lady called Amina in 1916. He was caught and humiliated by the community who stripped him nakeed and asked him to walk around the market square with the recovered stolen pant on his head.
His descendants were later called "Pantami" coined from 'Pant Amina'.
If the idiot decides to run for election now, Watch as zombies will tell us how the name change has caused a change of substance in the person of Isa Pantami from a hardline terrorist sympathizer to a liberal patriot.
Elonmuskfan: they can no longer be re-settled back to their ancestral lands. No one truly owns any land. Land ownership is by conquest and survival. If they earned it, let them keep it. First dwellers lay claim to a land but so do warriors. Arochukwu fought and claimed ibibio lands, till today it remains arochukwu land. The korri/effium people today are igbo people. They speak korri dialect and also speak and understand central igbo, they also bear igbo names as kelechi. Also practise the igbo traditions such as new yam festivals and the rest of them. They have been absorbed by the igbo communities and culture surrounding them, they are igbo already and do not deny it. Their ancestry may be different, but they have a new identity now and don’t want to be ostracized as non-igbo. Just that the ezza people often remind them and use it to taunt them, as much as they hate it.
You have valid points. And trust me, this ownership of land by conquest is what the Fulani wants to continue doing even as we are now in the 21st Century when such practice is now considered barbaric.
The Effium, Ntezi and Okpoto are now Igbos. They have a new identity just like you put it. No one is denying them that.
Meanwhile, the Ntezi I’m talking about is the one along Enugu/Abakaliki expressway after Eziulo, not Ntezi-Aba that is in the city. I don’t know how that place came to be called Ntezi-Aba though because the much I know of history, entire Abakaliki Capital territory is In Izzi Land. Except for now that urbanization has driven development into some part of Ngbo and Ezza land within the capital.
Juliusmalema: You see that samething we are saying. You have no right to say they are not Igbos.
Ezza people should tread with caution.
I read a documentary where effium people are complaining bitterly of been referred to as not Igbos.....by ezza people.
If other states now starts saying that ezza are not Igbos, you guys will find it offensive but here you are saying you don't know where they came from...
And this is exactly what effium are complaining about.
Effium as it stands today are Igbo people and they are happy been so.
So much from someone like you preaching Igbo Interest.
But read in this same report that they migrated from somewhere in the north.
Elonmuskfan: So the effium people migrated from north and speak korri language and partnered indigenous ebonyi people to attack a different clan and assume possession of their lands, to be shared with the ezza war partners as war booty.
Where are the ancestor siblings of this korri effium people right now? What state
Those who made the investigation know but don’t wanna tell us.
A lot of tribes live in Ebonyi that are not indigenous Ebonyi or even Igbo people.
The Ntezi people, Okpoto and Effium, these people have nothing in common with Igbo both in language and culture.
In 1967, the Yoruba controlled the media and with Awolowo’s treachery, they only told the world what they wanted the world to know.
This is 2021...
There’s now Social Media where every goddamn soul with data is a reporter.
Ndigbo have invested in the traditional media too. Just as Igbo sons and daughters are everywhere working for reputable media organizations all over the world.
