I’m asking because after the war, a lot of history was deliberately rewritten to expunge Igbos from the lives and subconsciousness of a lot of their brothers.

All Igboid groups outside of Southeast was taught to deny their Igboness as the only way to find favour in eyes of the government of the day.

That’s how an Ikwerre man (a full fledged Igbo) started denying he’s Igbo just so the Federal Government won’t treat him same way they are treating Biafrans who were recently defeated in war. But it was not just the Ikwerres, Ahoada, Etche, Opobo, Kalabari, Anioma, Ika, etc, a lot of these people were taught to deny they have anything to do with Igbo just so they won’t receive the same punishment with Igbos.

So, since after the war, it became a systematic thing where history was deliberately altered to fit the new reality to make sure the children born after the war are taught their concocted history.

But men like Pa Edwin Clark were around when it was happening and they know the truth and they know the right history.
