I thin you nipped my question in the bud. I really understand that the US favour TOEFL over IELTS but most schools accept either one. I also thought i could dave money by using the same WES evaluation for both interests.

What you did not tough on though is whether the IELTS for work is different from that for admission. I think i saw somewhere where they said it's different. Not sure though.

For Canada masters program, you don't need IELTS except stated by your school (very rare but nit impossible).
For U.S Admission, i will advise you write TOEFL, and that's if you're targeting G.A which you will have to write and ace GRE.
You can't use the WES evaluation for skilled migration for study. ( it is stated on their website to specify if you're going for immigration or academics) so WES evaluation for study will NOT work for immigration.
And lastly, WES evaluation for Canada is different from WES evaluation for U.S. you can't use WES canada evaluation to apply for U.S.

I'm about to write IELTS for the Canadian Skilled Immigration program. I also want to apply for a masters program in Canada and the US, what i want to know is if it's the same IELTS that is being used for workers and student. I also want to know if WES evaluates the same transcipt for both US and CANADA so that i don't have to start paying separately for each one.

Well I don't know much about the program MBBS. If it's a first degree, I will say it's okay. But if it's higher than first degree (professional examination/qualification after first degree) then it's not a progression. Albeit, academic advancement may not work against you even if your qualification is higher than proposed PGD. So far you can convince the V.O the reason why you're going for that course and how it stand to benefit you. Precisely if the program is only offered as a PGD program only.

Obviously that reason is just not convincing and does not sound too interesting to the hear. You can give reasons like;
You Compared tuition fees of other schools with the school, and you found it cheaper. Or may be it came with G.A which is better off the other schools.
Or say something like; the school gave you admission first of all the three schools you applied to. And not to delay and not sure of other schools decision, you chose to go with that; cos they day " A bird at hand is worth more than a thousand in the bush"......

1. What you are currently doing in line with the PGD you intend to pursue.
2. How many years of work experience you have?

You purpose of visit needs to be put in place first before you permutate your financial availability.

Yes you can. You just have to notify CIC of your change in institution and program through your "My CIC account".

Whichever way. If he can transfer the total cost of study to you, then fine. If he can't, he can choose to be transferring it to you monthly provided you will have a substantial amount to pay the school fees when you're submitting your TRV app. You don't make your app cumbersome and look desperate by so much affidavit this, affidavit that.... swearing affidavit left and right. Just make it simple and that's all.

Oga, one of the best way to show his commitment to you is to transfer the money to you. By that, you leave the V.O with little or none to bother as to why he wants to sponsor you.

bro it's a year program.... yes in the sponsorship letter one of his major reason is because my father sponsored him through his schooling days so he feels it's right to also sponsor me since he his financially capable..and also he will explain in the letter that he owns a trading business aside his salary account where he earns more income enough to take care of him and his family.... I guess I would go with his salary account and also show prove that he owns a trading company (company documents- cert of incorporation, board of directors and Co)

If you can attache photocopy of your certificate of result inside your transcript envelope, then you need not fax anything to them. But if you can't, then you can fax it to them instead of incurring another expenses to courier it to them.

My assumption is that once you make payment, you then fill the request form... send to school... include clear copy of certificate & other required docs... then school sends to Iqas. @T405, with your profile, getting the highest possible scores in another IELTS will and getting your wife to write IELTS (with maximum possible score of 9,9,9,9) and evaluating her certificate (bachelor's degree or masters)will put you at 435. That's the highest point you can get unless you have masters.

i have been reading through previous posts and on several occasions i have seen how increase in ielts scores has upgraded scores significantly from as low as 415 to 472 and other similar cases like that.but in my case you and someone else mentioned an increase in my ielts scores can only fetch me bout 9 extra CRS points. is their any reason its not more than 9 considering other cases i have seen on this platform where a score increase has resulted in much higher CRS points.

I would realy appreciate your input. i am willing to rewrite but 9points would just move me from my current 421 to 430 which is stil low and doesnt seem to be worth a another 68k which is a lot for me right now

me: passes my old and new passports (she collected only the new one)

Me: New York city
Vo: why are you going to New York city?
Me: for vacation, my annual leave is in July and I plan to spend that time vacationing in New York, and would love to visit some interesting tourist attraction sites there like the statue of liberty, museums, central park and other sites

They won't take it from you. It has to be from your school directly.

Yes brother. You can choose to re-write IELTS or wait for another opening for Ontario nomination or wait and see if the points will go down to Favour you. But mind you, Ontario nomination application fee is around 1,500Cad which is way more than 300,000Naira.

Sound like you don't know what you want to, you did not even mention admission let alone mentioning the course you want to go for. You just jump to wanting to apply for study visa in Canada. When you're fully awake, then you will know what is next to do before study visa.

That means you two want to abscond to Canada through study permit. I will advise that if you want to migrate to Canada, kindly use the EXpress Entry medium under FSW. If you are going for study, please don't apply at the same time. It will affect your S.O.A except you're extremely financial buoyant. Also it will affect your home ties except you have other convincing ties to use.

When is she expected to apply for a visit after I had gone? Also if the two are married and they got admission in Canada resuming the same time. How would they process there visa in this case?
