I dont think they are scared to die if their trainers demand that. Lets thank God nobody was hurt and hope no more deadly terrorist attacks happen not only in the US but in the battle fields of Iraq, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
No the foot soldiers that have been brainwashed are not afraid of death.Religion has been used as a tool to meet that objective. The masterminds franchising terror for a fee like Khaleid Sheik Mohammed who you cannot distinguish from a Colombian drug lord are the real brains and threat to peace

Unfortunately this desire to kill innocent pple in the name of religion predates 9-11 we all know. They just werent getting the kind of attention they are getting now.

Indeed they are getting billions of dollars worth of attention
Politics › Time Square Jihadist Wannabe Nabbed. . .here We Go Again by Pennywise(op): 4:28pm On May 04, 2010
The face of the terrorist (suspect) behind the failed Time square bombing has been shown to be a Pakistani. He was nabbed while attempting to board a flight out of the US. Hardly surprising.

What is surprising is that these Jihardist wannabes dont ever learn. Assuming the bomb had gone off and 10 maybe 30 or even 50 innocent hard working people (including devout moslems) died how does that count in your favor/quest. How does it amount to teaching America a lesson? Imagine the wasted time and resources that could have been spent doing honorable deeds like working and keeping your job, meeting family obligation or even propagating your faith through peaceful means.

. . . . fortunately the bomb didnt go off. And now its payback time and Uncle Sam must have his pound of flesh. The US IS a country that has one of the most unforgiving judicial system in the world. Evading arrest and 'reckless endangerment' regularly fetches 10 years in prison. What a wasted life. It is only a matter of time before another one comes along. Jihardist indeed.

Romance › Re: Who Enjoy Kissing The Most? Guys Or Ladies? by Pennywise(m): 11:47am On May 04, 2010
Generally I think girls crave more for a kiss than guys (for whom its mostly a waste of time).Whether they like it more is another matter.

You know you've had a good kiss when you get the feedback in the groin. I just had one and it was very good.

Business › Re: How Do I Go About Getting My Money From The Delta State Government? by Pennywise(m): 4:40pm On May 02, 2010
gaby:
Dear Nairalanders this is a very sorry situation a fellow forumite has had to battle with for the past 4 years with the Direct Labour Agency of the Delta State Government.

I rented out a couple of my trucks to the agency with an agreement of payment semi-annually but till date it's been come today come tomorrow i feel this is just the height of injustice.I had to finance the project personally by paying the drivers and maintanance of the truck as agreed with them but recouping even what i expended is impossible as it is now and i am very very frustrated.
Someone may be able to help you if you can say exactly how much is involved in this contract. It is possible an audit was done and the Government found the contract terms unreasonably skewed in favour of the contractor.

A certain agency of one of the governments in the ND was reported recently to be in a free-for-all contract scandal where some people were paid (for example) 50-60million naira for jobs requiring not more than 500k to execute until the Gov blew the whistle.

Give us a more transparent picture of what went down. That way we can advise.
THE Ikemba Nnewi, Chief Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, was yesterday, reported to be in support for the presidential ambition of former military leader, General Ibrahim Babangida, in 2011,  saying he would support him as far as it was the desire and aspiration of the people of the country.
In order words, he has no say/no opinion on the matter.

But why is Ojukwu-such an eloquent, logical and intelligent man always on the wrong side of history without any exception. Is it Nigeria or the man that is troubled?

. . . . . and Jesus said "Let he that is without sin cast the first stone!" And there was dead silence.

It appears Americans have not been reading their bible.

And in case anyone was wondering, aint no way Michelle is leaving Obama over this or any one we are yet to know.

I feel rather disappointed that W. Soyinka declined to condemn IBB like the others in his short interview. He rather found a convenient scapegoat in David Mark. This is not a good sign of things to come.

Virtually all our serving leaders are guilty of this offence. Have you heard our senate president speak ex tempore? The guy breaks so much bottle all over the place with so much confidence.

Whether you like it or not, they run our lives now. Better to sift through, get the general drift and pray that God is at work in their heart. It does hurt being Nigerian in the midst of foreigners when our leaders embarrass us this way.

Our away-ian bros make una dey prepare b/4 una come so that we can feel you. Not for una to come and generally fall hand like some I have seen.It can be embarrassing when friends and neighbors ask "what did he bring you?".And you ve nothing to say.

Sometimes as hosts we go out of our way to extend elaborate royal reception to our diaspora bros/sis so they feel welcome. And when they are abt to leave they distri $5-10 among the kids which even they (kids) find confounding and embarrassing. When they get back home they praise themselves on how much they saved.

Make una dey try. Abeg.
