Trial? More like pre-jail processing. This guy will be lucky to make parole in 50yrs by which time he wont be much of a Jihadist.

What a waste. What a religious fool.

What a prolific corporate raider. He may have calculated wrongly though choosing London as a place to hide. He should be in South America or any of the many inconspicous destination in the far east like Cambodia.

25-28 is ok or before 31.For ladies. These days women tend to menopause pretty early.I recently heard a startling news of a 35 year old lady already in menopause. There are more important things to face in marriage than age, while it's gd for woman to marry early so they can plan their family early. Maturity is d key. Nobody wants baby husbands or baby wives.
No such thing. Challenges of parenthood make the mind mature

Its actually quite easy to hit that number if you are the type who travels a lot on account of job, business etc. There is no aphrodisiac stronger than a lonely hotel room. (So guys be easy on urselves-if you are above 30)

@Subject female
Our man should realise that it is possible for the girl to remain clean (healthy) even after that number. On the other hand, a silly girl can pick up HIV on her 1st date.

@Topic,
This apprentice terrorist is in real deeeep shi.t. To start with he got caught on the wrong side of the atlantic. America aint Europe when talkin crime-any crime, let alone terrorism.

Secondly, he has been branded an alqaeda. Thirdly, this is post 9/11.Forthly, he is Nigerian. When you add these 'points of law' together you are face-to-face with a minimum 100yrs in American jail with no chance of parole for 50yrs. And the judge wont even blink.

Sad, a promising lad just threw his life away over ideological issues fueled by religion. In those days the dominant ideological issues in Unis for which some peeps were ready to stake their lives (and this is no exaggeration) were communism and capitalism. Where the hell is communism today?

After a few years in the slammer when global perceptions would have changed or shifted, moslems everywhere are embracing christians, arabs hobnobbing jews he will realize that he has been sold a dummy in order words defrauded. Then he will see that he f.ucked up big time.

I wonder how many more will follow in his footsteps and get themselves killed or otherwise throw their lives away for nothing.Jihad indeed.
Politics › Minister Spends N2.7b On Foreign Trips by Pennywise(op): 1:16pm On Dec 23, 2009
I have always known the position of Minister of foreign affairs of the Federal Republic Of Nigeria to be occupied by Intelligent, outstanding and charismatic people of recognizable pedigree-that is b/f the Yar Adua Govt came in.

This particular position it will seem has been reserved by successive govts for worthy individuals because essentially the occupant is  the nation's chief PRO. Any other person (whether favoured houseboy or p.imp who knows and produces oga's preferred specs) can occupy whatever other cabinet position there is and it wont matter.

Enter 'Chief' Ojo Maduekwe. The appearance of this individual is at once repulsive. Not one you will recommend for any PRO job let alone a nation's. But you are determined to look beyond his dour physical appearance and accomodate him as an educated person and Gods creature-until he opens his mouth to talk. Then, disaster! This is guarrantteed to happen each time.

Ojo Maduekwe spent N2.7b of tax payer's money in 2009 on foreign travels and he is asking for more in 2010. The question is what did he achieve with all that money?

I have to apologise to all because this post ought to have come up in a section for scam, unfortunately there is non on NL.

http://www.vanguardngr.com/2009/12/23/senate-slams-maduekwe-over-n2-7bn-expended-on-travels/
The Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs yesterday vowed to cut down the   N2.7 billion expended by Foreign Affairs Minister, Chief Ojo Maduekwe, in his international travels this year in 2010 .
The Senate made this pledge despite arguments by Chief Maduekwe for an increase on the amount, as he explained that he needed more money to pursue the cause of international diplomacy.
Chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, Senator Jibril Aminu, who presided at the budget defence session, described the N2.7 billion expended by the Minister for his international travels as an economic waste.
Aminu described the amount expended by Maduekwe as more than the entire budget of the Federal Ministry of Commerce which was put at N2 billion.
“The whole budget of the Ministry of Commerce is about N2 billion while that of the Ministry of Police Affairs is about N1billion, but you have used N2.7 billion for international travels alone. And you are even asking for increase in the 2010 budget.
These foreign travels are wasteful, you have to cut it down. There is no way we are going to give you more money for international travels.”
But claiming that the travels were to the benefit of the Ministry and the country, the Minister said:
“Diplomacy is all about visibility even technology has not helped in reducing international travels in diplomacy. There is no way that the travel commitment of the Foreign Ministry could be compared to that of the Ministry of Commerce.”
Maduekwe who was flanked by the Minister of State, Alhaji Jibril Maigari also responded to comments about financial hardships in the country’s foreign missions which it was revealed has led to the inability of the government to pay salaries and allowances of diplomats in the last three months.
Maduekwe on his part blamed the financial squeeze partly on some Ambassadors who he said were in the habit of undertaking frivolous trips for the purpose of cashing estacodes.

Tall women are good for their trophy value. Unfortunately they are usually very awkward in bed.

So even though they get to occupy madam's seat at home, petite girls are the ones getting all the action outside.

When a Nigerian feels pressured to succeed, it can only mean one thing.

Dont feel pressured to argue this further.

honeric01:

Being successful is subjective. You can have non of the trappings of acclaimed wealth symbols but yet be very successful. On the other hand you can have 10 limos but still think you have failed as a person.

The success we are concerned with here is that of getting laid. Some1 feels height-challenged in a romance section and he is pondering his chances. I am saying he is lucky and stands a good chance at 5'8.
Romance › Re: What Is The Normal Height For A Nigerian Guy? by Pennywise(m): 10:55am On Dec 01, 2009
Any study that puts the average height of a Nigerian male at 5'4" should be thrown away in the bin. There isnt much else you can believe from such a study (you can 4get results for hyptsion). It goes against what is clearly obvious and self evident.

Maybe the writer in his warped imagination would prefer Nigerians were 5'4. I met a Punjabi (in London a few years ago) who had interacted with a lot of Africans and he came away with the impression (and I believe him) that typical Nigerians were bold and big (which was why he could tell I am a Nigerian).

5'4 is uncommon even in modern day Congo. This so called study is another example of how certain jaundiced and prejudiced folks would like to legitimize preconcieved notions using what in essence is academic fraud.

5'8 can be regarded as average height. Any guy with this height should not feel disadvantaged with girls. Infact most of the players who had the girls attention during my Uni days were generally 5'8-9'. Although we like to call them shorty.
So many copying and pasting on NairaLand, most of these stories copied and pasted havent been proved to be true or flase, you see a title on the internet and all you do is copy and paste it without even reading and thinking if it is true or not.

Cant people write their stories themselves? instead of copying and pasting falsehood?
I would like to agree with but unfortunately NL is not a writers forum. Issues can originate from any where for discussion. No one is getting award of any kind for the best stories. It will help to think more of the entertainment value of NL than its academic value.

I cant explain it but I behave myself exceptionally well in Church.

But I do get the constant feelin that there is sth of interest in a certain general direction (even though I am not lookin) that urgently needs my attention outside the church gate at closing. The more beautiful the woman, the more urgent the matter, the less meaningful the sermon.
