Ruben Abating sounds like a broken record already. He should stop trying. The same phrases, the same bile, the same angst. Does this greedy, ambitious, pen pushing, social climber even bother to think if people read the thrash he puts up? He should realize there is a difference btw run-of-the-mill substandard, tactless, rude and emotion laden articles characteristic of Nigerian Journalism and formal State House communication. Apparently Ruben Abati doesn't know that. Some of us think Abati works too hard for his pay. He should consider a change of strategy and be more polite in his write ups. He doesn't need to over reach himself or proove he is the real attack lion and not Doyin Okupe. |

The husband alleged Collins and his late wife had plans to liquidate his assets and move to Canada. At what point did he know and what did he do about it? Did the wife renege on this understanding with lover boy that made him bitter? Lover boy made so much drama about breaking off with her and telling the world about it. Does it really take that much to break off from a woman with 4 other boyfriends or he was just trying to blackmail her? Lover boy has done little with this interview to remove suspicion abt his involvement in her death. Considering the age gap between a typical Ibo groom and his bride, it's surprising this scenario doesn't play out more often than we see. The man is in his 50 s and the woman 35 when sexual desire is at its peak. How can a man with unpredictable and ineffective ere ction possibly satisfy this woman? The underlying problem can be traced to a desire by the Ibo to commercialize everything including the natural act of giving out a daughter in marriage. A lot of their men dare not consider marriage until they are 40 and above when they are financially secure. In the end, you have a sexually very experienced Ibo girl with a much older man. |

I find it hard to believe that after looking in the eyes of these fallen soldiers, some Nigerians still plead on behalf of the cowardly traitors found guilty of desertion or mutiny rather than fight boko haram. No one life is more important than the other. These too could have chosen not to fight but they choose the path of honor. The govt should do what is right and carry out the death sentences prescribed by law without further delay. Every day they are kept and sustained is a day of injustice to the Nigerian state and the heroes above. 4 Likes |

Iweala has been shown to be nothing more than a paper pusher at the world Bank. Not an economist by any stretch. She attempts to obscure her deficiency by surrounding herself with WB economists. Now we know madam is a fraud like the govt she serves. Of course Jonathan cannot tell the difference between a breathing human being and a dummy on a good day. Madam 's single digit inflation may be no more than an admission of a single digit IQ She will do well to resign if she has a modicum of self respect and cares for whatever little regard she still has.
