InvestmentHire Purchase Or Daily Pay, Which Module Is Better? by Pentools(op): 5:16pm On Sep 14, 2018
Good day able investors in the house, I will be going straight to the point on this one. A friend of mine got his visa to leave the country few days ago and he's selling literally every of his properties. I decided to buy his few months old car that I will be putting up on taxi services(have a very strict management company that oversees that, so no driver stories) sealed up the deal with the management company today after inspections and other background checks, now they're are asking which module I want, whether it's hire purchase or let the driver be remitting a certain amount to me(daily pay) till whenever I'm ok or decides to lay the car to rest. However I have from now till Monday(17-09) to decide.

Investors and business heads in the house pls ur honest suggestions based on experience, idea or knowledge will be well appreciated, the last one I did with uber went well and obviously still doing fine, but I don't want to do e-hailing for this one due to some reasons.
Please people advise a brother....

Lalasticlala, mynd44 and co. show my quest some love pls.

Give no room for memory block by reading the works of people who are advanced in your space

I write for a company in Florida...so I spend time reading Nytimes, Mashable, CCN (not CNN), Bloomberg, etc.

As regards how I unwind, I always go to the mall and eateries. Not to mention going to church

I don't drink

I don't fancy hanging out with the guys on my street...I can't learn anything from them

And nairaland and bae are good company grin

Which state are u?
Mehnnnnn, you're alright then, my space is somewhat secluded, with the fact that I stay in one of the calmest if not the calmest estate in Fct. Anything you fail to buy once you are home forget it. I now get to see people just once in a month or two months when I move to get stuffs in bulk and sometimes mobile shopping vendor gets my stuff. I don't even get to see two of my only neighbors for like months. It's just me,me,me. The last time I saw the gate of my compound was late May.
And I see TV as soul's junk food, so I don't do TVs, do radio once in a very while.

Although it becomes fun when u see it as one with absolute meditation n concentration as the benefits but Naija trends, and gossips ain't for you unless ofcourse Nairaland carries it. It's a crazy fun experience.

I reside in Fct, Abuja.

bros no pun intended. I once shared same stance as you, but as I grew older I came to realize that knowing one's root goes a long way. History when overlooked repeats it self be it good or bad one, especially bad ones. ChewOnThat!!!

Don't let miserable leadership and the damn state of the damnation cost or make you despise your root, especially if you're Igbo. Igbos are never born trowey, regardless of the harshness we never leave our root, maybe out of sight but never out of mind.

Ask jidenna, kansi, automobile obi, etc.

PoliticsRe: In Defense Of Abba Kyari By Abdulrazaq O Hamzat by Pentools(m):
I've been following this case for about three weeks now, when Ordinary president first made it out on air. Truth be told the case has been more of a tongue in every person's mouth especially the members of public in Abuja and its environ.

From most aspersions by fewer members of the public, most say it's a mere political plot to black-paint the presidency and what it represents. For me I take those as being uninformed with the case or not following right from the beginning. The Mallam Abba kyari to me after due analysis needs to come n clear his name, I'm sure he's not too big to do that. (After all he's not bigger than Trump that came on CNN to defend himself sometime ago) but from due analysis one can be safe to say he is guilty of the alleged crime. For the man to make mention of high security agencies with their various names and designations shows an obvious confidence and that speaks a resounding volume, and for the fact that none of them are yet to respond or make any arrest also go a long way of showing that they are guilty of the offense.

But if this is really true then COS is an epitome of greed, following the kind of money he bags every week, not to talk on the unaccountable #200m he gets as impression every month, incentives and allowances such as travel allowances and co. What will he now use 29-30million for, abi he wan punish the man ni for an unknown sin(s)

Let's stay glued with crossed fingers anyways, shey na this Saturday.

BTW, for the fact that all the Nigerian security chiefs are from one particular clime is very much clear that Nigerians are being used and unapologetically played on as monkey post pitch.

DonFreshmoney:
I just want to share my experience, I hope we all learn 1 or 2 things from it.

So yesterday evening, I went to Eden garden around Utako (near Chida hotel) to watch their weekend show. I normally drive there before, but decided to trek as my house isn't far from the garden and also as a form of exercise. After the show ended by after 11pm, I then decided to trek back home. Unfortunately, I didn't expect what was to happen next.

On that long stretch of road from the Eden garden lies a mosque, hotel (Aneio hotel) and at the end is utako village. From the garden to the first corner is illuminated with street lights, from the corner to the last corner (to utako village) is pitched dark. Many people who stay at Abuja should know this location very well.

On approaching the mosque, walking of course with my earpiece and music playing to keep me entertained. I saw 2 people coming towards me, they were walking like ladies and we know olosho business thrives at night there. It was when I came close to them, I noticed they were guys. But it was too late, they stopped in front of me and requested I give them my phones, I was shocked, amazed and scared at d same time. It was then I noticed that I was practically the only one nearby and everywhere was dark. No vehicles were moving at that time. One wanted to hold my hand the to my back while the other collect my properties. I muzzled strength to release the hold and ran across d road to the mid section where I was caught by one of them. He pulled me to the ground, at that time my 2 phones were in my hands tight (samsung galaxy and iphone) . I shouted for them to leave me, and also for someone to help me as at that time cars were passing, but my shout fell to deaf ears. I was scared they might be holding a knife or even a gun, as ave heard stories especially on Nairaland where thieves stabbed or shot people for failing to the give them their phones. But it took God's grace and strength for me to stand up, I pushed one of dem to d ground, the other one grabbed my hand and was trying to draw the phones from my palm, but my watch fell down. Since it was dark, he thought it was d phone that fell down, as he bent down to pick it. I seize the opportunity to run, I noticed the closest place to light was back to the Eden garden side. I ran towards there only to meet their third accomplice from the front, he was shouting for me to stop and was charging towards me, while the other 2 were behind me. Something told me to throw my earpiece to the third guy, fortunately that was the trick as it helped me get passed him.

To cut the story short, when I got back to eden gardens, a security guy saw me runnin and panting, he asked if I was d one shouting earlier. I said yes, that 3 people wanted to rob me off my phones. He told me, they recently have cases of theft at nights around d area, and it's advisable not to bring expensive phone.

I thank GOD that I loss earpiece and watch worth about 7k instead of my 2 phones worth over 400k. It's a lesson, which won't happen again. I know it's an epistle, but u can share ur recent experience of theft or near stealing.

Nairaland GeneralRe: Ten Things You Need To Do Before You Turn 30. by Pentools(m): 9:34am On Aug 29, 2018
sisipelebe:
Ten things you should definitely do before you turn thirty:

1.Get Your Heart Broken. It is not the most pleasant experience in life. Unfortunately, it is inevitable. However, it is the invaluable lesson everyone should go through. Get your heart broken to learn the hard way how cruel and tough the life can be.

2.Realize That Life Has Already Begun. The sooner you do this the sooner you will be able to start doing the things that matter. Every decision matters and every choice counts. There is no interlude Nor is there a trial version. Therefore, strive to live a meaningful life now.

3. Write An Article. Develop a strong point of view regarding the particular issue and do your best to express your thoughts in the best way possible. Get your voice featured on the popular outlet and praise yourself for this small accomplishment.

4.Master A Valuable Skill. Your ability to apply your knowledge and produce some great results is what lets you stand out and makes others pay you for your services. Opt for mastery and strive to become the best at what you do.

5. Slay Your Fears. Stop living your fears as soon as possible. Do not enter the fourth decade of your life being afraid of trivial things. Learn to live beyond your comfort zone and slay your fears to live the life to the fullest.

6.Establish A Few Useful Connections. You cannot know everyone and know how to do everything. The good thing is that you do not need to. Meanwhile, you can meet some great people that can give a valuable advice or come in your hour of need.

7.Live Abroad For At Least A Year. Living abroad is not always fun and easy. This experience is often full of struggle and difficulties. Learn how to adapt to and survive in unfamiliar environments. Find out how to meet new friends and get used to a different culture.

8. Establish A Good Habit Attitude. Then you won`t need to break a bad one. Habits might seem innocuous daily actions that do not make any impact on your life. In fact, they define how productive and successful you are. Adopt the habits that are the perfect fit for a person you`d like to be.

9.Define Your Goals. Make sure you are not going to float along after you are 30. Make sure you get closer to the things you want to accomplish with every step you take. Make sure you know what you want and channel your energy towards attaining your goals.

10.Get Into Challenging Environment. If you are not willing to start stagnating too soon, surround yourself with the people that are smarter, stronger and faster than you. They will motivate you to catch up and become better than you ever thought possible.
Mehnnnnn, your points are so valid.... I'm pained stuffs as this don't make FP. Nice one!

HOW I MADE MY FIRST #50,000 ONLINE
This evening I feel like inspiring someone out there especially on online business
Just like some of you,i do feel its not possible to make such money online, the money used to be huge to me way back then (that amount of money is not huge to me anymore). That was when I just finished my university days at 19 years of age,i was very naive, not used to making money anywhere.
Fastforward to my service year,I had a friend who likes reading news here on Nairaland, since I love political news,I joined her.
During my nysc service, one day I was so broke, then something told me to just click on the business section of NL if i will see anything that would fetch me money.I did and holla,I saw lots of make 30,000 with 2k,make millions online,I clicked everything and I read through. It happens that most of them are not legitimate or too tasking for me at that moment with little pay,but one thing was that in all the posts I read, I gained something. I gained courage,I learnt some lessons and I continue pursuing what to do.
One of the things I learnt was that connection is needed in life, and the connection is not necessarily to meet someone at the top, anyone can help at any point in time,no matter how the help is little.
One of the first few things I learnt was how to connect with people who can give the right information to me.
To connect with people, you don't need to ask them I want to be your friend to learn from you, many won't even think twice before blocking you, you can't also make a friend by sending pm to the person, they won't reply you. This is because it is in human nature to repel those they feel are only there to take from them. You can also imagine someone trying to be your friend because he/she want something from you, how will you feel?Few will accept such people as friends.
THIS IS HOW YOU CAN CONNECT WITH THOSE YOU NEED THEIR HELP
Try not to just be a parasite, make the benefit mutual, try to look for ways you too can contribute positively to them and they will see reasons to keep you around them. We all have one or two things we can offer others, try to search for those things you can as well offer, develop yourself on it and offer the person that you need help from and you will see both of you connecting.
For example, the person that taught me how to open a US PayPal,I didn't even ask him to do so,I just saw he posted the picture of a baby, what I did was like the picture and I told him the baby is very cute, and will be cute in certain dress, and I made a nice dress for the baby. He was so happy that we became friends, he has taught me lots of things today free of charge without even asking. There was another person I helped with an enquiry, egg business, I helped him do all the enquiry and he helped me in my importing business somehow, not like she gave me money or taught me because I have already known about it through reading, asking other people et cet ra, but what she did was that she told me the truth about the business, we went to the airport together and so on like that. All she did was simply building my confidence and I am glad. Lots of people know about importation thing but won't do a thing because they lack the confidence to start, even those that have attended semimard on how to import from China,Us and the likes.
Now after you have seen someone to help you with information what is next?
Many people will loose it all when they don't know the right ways of asking questions, they want to depend solely on the helper, don't do that or the helper will just get tired of you. What I did and still doing is any slight information, I add up to it by using our popular information helper, MR GOOGLE. For instance, the person teaching me the PayPal thing,I won't be asking silly questions like what is even PayPal, I will just use Google, and thus I ask only cogent questions that won't stress the person in helping me out with.
NOW to the main TOPIC, How I got made my #50,000
I made my money from importing business, it was quick and easy because I have done lots of underwork before I made the importation itself. And I didn't use a single money from my pocket until I was doing the clearing. The first thing I worked on was the market,(I will be making another post on how to get your desired market),after I have gotten my market,I imported, and distributed items to my customers. You maybe wondering how people will trust me with their hard earned money online, it was a simple maths I did,and a little psychology. There's likelihood you trust me if I have given you something worth half of the money you want to give to me,its that simple.
That was how I made my first #50,000 online, from the comfort of my room. After that I have done several business, I call them SIDE HUSTING because there's the real business that am working on that can fetch me better catch even if I decide to sleep for some years not lifting a finger.
I just taught you how to fish for your own fish without necessarily giving you a fish.

Hmmmmmm, I see!!!
U act like agric and maths teachers those school days, ur level of DIY is out of this world.... A lazy or passionless fellow can't be ur student,...
