Check the bulbs. One is bad. Replace it and it will be back to normal.

Good morning everyone in the house. My car (Acura MDX 07) AC is not as cool as it used to be. This started about 4 days ago with the driver's side being less cool than the passenger's side. What could be the problem and how can i fix it.

It's low on coolant aka gas.
It's normally caused by a leak in the system.

Hi,
I need a little info from anyone knowledgeable before I get a mechanic. This is my first car so I don't know much.
It has been sitting for a month now, and I haven't been around to use it. I tried starting it now. It made a very weak sound like it was trying to start and stopped. Tried a couple of times, same thing. Till eventually it didn't even make the sound anymore. More like a clicking sound.
Please what could be faulty with it now? And how much does it usually cost to fix?
I'm just looking for a fair idea to know what to expect. Also so that some hungry mechanic doesn't swindle me.

That's exactly what happened to me when I changed my Nissan Teana oil I bought one tin of NS-2, after changing it the dipstick was low I had to buy another tin. I ended up spending 40000 just to change gear oil.

I discovered recently that AC no longer cool and this morning I tried to figure out what was wrong. so I on the AC and discovered that the passanger side AC feeder breath cool air though not much. but all other feeder did not. pls can somebody tell me what could be wrong. l had not been using the AC frequently though, the last time I used it will be about 5 months ago.

The gas level is low, it means there is leakage somewhere in the system. Take to a competent tech that has leak testing materials & vacuum pump.

Please, how many km is 30 litres of fuel meant to cover in a 2009 Kia Sportage? Mine covers like 130/140km and I believe the car consumes more fuel than normal.

Also, at times when accelerating the vehicle drags for a little while and suddenly pick up/move faster. What could be the problem?

Good day house, pls I got a Toyota Corolla from someone. I noticed that he has changed all four tyres to bigger rims, i.e 215/65/R16. The ride is noisy and tyre rubbing body when turning.
What should I do:
(1) change all tyres only to 205/60/R16 and retaining the R16 rims
(2) Change both the tyres and rims to R15, 1.e 205/60/R15

The one in red is the smaller size tyre. It will reduce the height a little.

Though the reviews on Edmunds is not that encouraging as almost 20% of users had encountered issues with transmission slippage and almost about 50% had to fix one issue or another with it's throttle body at some point after 100kmiles, we'll try to be meticulous with the maintenance and see how far we can go without it popping up one or two issues.

Why not park the car and use it to go to church every Sunday, in 3 months you put the car for sale. This one Oga Gazzuzz is hammering on selling the car, there is something he knows that we don't know.

Scanning the vehicle will tell you exactly what the problem is. Trial and error costs money.

The fuel consumption is not that much. A difference of 2mpg isn't much. I know some l4 engines that get poor gas mileage like 8mpg due to bad o2 sensor/ air flow ratio mixture.

If it's CVT use NS-2 oil. Was 18k last year, I'm sure it will be 20+ now. And you might need to buy two cans.

If it revs very high, check the gear speed sensor, check the wiring, I don't know why rats love that particular sensor wire.

I have a leaking car AC compressor which I think is caused by a bad seal. However, the mechanic is claiming my condenser is blocked and that's why the seal spoilt. He's suggesting I change the condenser and service the compressor.

I doubt it has anything to do with my condenser. I would appreciate any expert opinion.

If the condenser is blocked it would affect the compressor. You can seek second opinion.

My Corolla steering shakes whenever I'm trying to slow down (apply brake) after like 120 speed. It goes smoothly if break is not applied. What could be the problem?

Most times it's the brake disc, but it should be inspected by your mechanic b4 u throw parts at it. My bro using same model changed his discs not too long ago, he had the same complaint last week. Took it to his mechanic and it happened to be rust somewhere in the caliper.

Fan direct and no thermostat does not have a direct effect on mpg. If the upstream sensor is working, you will get good mpg.
