4gunners:The state will take a genius to fully recover from that disaster |
Xbee007:There's probably a silent gangup against the military. More firepower to the police can be done without necessarily having a police artillery corp (if there's any such thing). With the huge security vote within the state coffers, the governors definitely have the wherewithal but that will only create another disastrous dimensions to the war theatre. They simply want a justification to hijack the war from the military. Too much mistrust |
https://www.channelstv.com/2020/08/09/banditry-terrorism-northeast-governors-advocate-use-of-heavy-artillery-by-police/amp/ Not sure what the military will think about this. Would this make any difference |
SamuelAnyawu:I wish the villagers remembered to poison the looted grains ![]() |
They want to kill this boys career before he start. This could pitch osimhen against the clubs history and legacy. Italians dont joke with such. Now, he is probably going to be under intense pressure to deliver. |
Accordingto Deji Adesogan on twitter, these Libyans seem to have found a very lucrative arms market in the crisis ridden NW, Nigeria. Some arm smugglers were killed by Nigerien military. One caught alive
|
These people have taken us very far |
GeneralMarshall:It came as a surprise that the US had to make it public instead of through the Nigerian government. Is the US trying to clear the air on allegations in the public and social media that it is not doing enough with intelligence sharing? |
Toju200:This infiltration is certainly not a joke. Global terrorists have their eyes fixed on West Africa, ultimately Nigeria. Our intelligence community be better off working in synergy |
This won't stop the rich from leaving |
bidexiii:First it was Bornu in NE, now it's Niger state in NC. Both states are largest in terms of land mass in respective region. Seems BH/ISWAP strategies is centered around this whole space domination to spread the military in order to prolong its operations. Somebody pointed out earlier that Niger state forest terrain would provide that luxury cover against NAF air raids, but recruitment among the locals for foot soldiers would prove difficult, except they resort to importing fighters from neighbouring states. The Nigerian military might need to take this emerging threat more serious. |
Finally, the Americans have woken up. Scammers have no excuse for inflicting pain on others. I hate fraud because it encourages laziness and dehumanizes, demonizes other hardworking individuals. If you are hardworking and honest, kudos to you. |
Small pikin cannot eat banana in peace again. The world is really turning on its head |
DDOS attacks don't require any admin credentials. The guy is probably a newbie trying out a new skill he discovered. This kind of attack could be a mild ICMP ping attack and not amplified DDOS. A very skilled attacker with strong intent to destroy premium times would have used zombie bots hosts that are all over social media For premium times website to be susceptible to a ICMP flood attack that could have been prevented with an IPS traffic black hole only shows somebody hasn't been doing his job. What do I know |
I was skeptical too. RIP to the dead |
For BH/ISWAP, a terror network known for its social media PR stunts not to have issued a statement about the attack, i knew something was fishy. |
We have suceeded in creating an unfriendly business environment for investment to fail. |
Government owned higher institutions are stuck in stone age. Tomorrow, they will claim to be the best. |
bidexiii:$160 million for a school fence. How much does the university itself cost. Can FG invest as much in the school? This money should be spent on quelling the insurgency instead of anticipating future attacks. Perimeter fencing will only deter individuals from infiltrating not an invading army armed with explosives and sucide bombers. Misplaced priority |
SamuelAnyawu:How many times has this been re-echoed on this thread. The military will need to modernize its approach to this war. Two Drones can be automated to circle around the convoy at least 4km radius. That way, the convoy is getting heads up for the troops convoy on impeding attack |
Lmaomen1:Good for you. I havent come to adertise any model of CCTV/IP Systems for the public sake. We offer intelligence surveillance systems of different capabilities. Those that can send alert at point of intrusions via email or MMS, storage over the internet i.e storing footages in the cloud and so on. They all vary depending on financial capability. It is obvious you know absolutely nothing about surveillance systems. Most CCTV signals are hardwired from terminal to central storage, how easy is to intercept signals like you claim without physical access to the system. Obviously, you've been choking yourself with too much information from the internet. If there are any CCTV system capabilities you just discovered, please do well to open a thread on it and enlighten the public. Different clients have different requirements and of course finacial capacity. No surveillance system is a write off. So far so good, our clients have not had a reson to complain. The last time i was in benin, i enjoyed the relative peace and ambience that is devoid of touts and motorpark urchins that it is known for. POWOV(an idea that lagos can learn from) is a good initiative, complimented by the efforts of the personnel of the Edo State Transport Management Authority. Edo is really in good hands. Nevertheless, there is need to work on providing more infrastructures. Edo cannot be compromised!!! |
Slawormir:Damn Niggarrrr!!! |
Nice. Call or WhatsApp 08166894416 for your CCTV installation. Check out thread of our installation https://www.nairaland.com/4298078/cctv-installation-offices-home-pics#92124632 |
PatrikStacy:Thanks. Call or WhatsApp 08166894416 for your installation. Home or office |
When will Edo APC come out with a concrete agenda and focus based campaign on what they will do if they get into office. Enough of all these accusations and propaganda all over the media. The public is tired of all these wining and grumbling. When did accusations and propaganda turn to campaign |
Olominira:If Lagos is the benchmark for development in Nigeria then we still have a long way to go |
The degree to which the police authorities and it's personnel seem to be abusing the tracking mechanism is mind boggling. Very reckless and can only be compared to Hitler's Gestapo unit. NCC and the judiciary need to look into this. They trample on citizens right to privacy. |
davillian:I'm so infuriated to the point of calling for immediate execution of such beast amongst us. At least, we get to reduce the population |
The NA needs to fight at all fronts like a modern army. All options on the table against insurgency and banditry are good but the cheapest option on the long run is rigorous use of ISR and attack drones for all it's operations. Five Chinese Wing long drones and two cheap ranger helicopter for the NA aviation corp at each FOB. The drones could be deployed against bandits. It would help guide our foot soldiers against ambush as it seems bandits now exchange notebooks with ISWAP on how to carry out such attacks. Our army need to evolve and set a standard that should not be compromised no matter the nature of call of duty |
Imagine if bet companies were staking their odds on Covid-19 update Edo to lead Lagos by 30 cases. before tomorrow 3.5 Vs 1.5 |
