On Sept 2, 2020 - A Notorious jihadist war lord known as Umar Lene, led 2 other ISWAP Commanders on a fierce reprisal Ambush against NA troops at Garin giwa village 4km to Mile 4 Baga town, Unfortunately 10 gallant NA soldiers paid the supreme price in the battle - the terrorist succeeded to steal two military guntrucks in the process.
Sources claimed the armed jihadist came from a newly established ISWAP Special Forces camp in Doron Nira.
It's been a while they carried out such scale of attack since the military onslaught.Obviously a painstakingly planned attack this time. It shows they are restrategizing with every loss.

Each time they record any victory, the military needs to hit them real hard on a follow up. That's the only way to wear out their resolve.

RIP to the brave soldiers

Nice one. Bro you are too intelligent. Leave all this murderfuckers saying he should be jailed. Things don't work like that. He never hacked into any account, rather he did access bank a good job by notifying them of their vulnerable IT systems; and most customers of access bank must not hear of this, if true.
He's craving attention. He never hacked any access bank core server. Just got his hands on dumped database of access bank customers (probably from a former employee) and showing it off on the internet.

Access bank IT staff probably smiling right now.

If you like switch to industrialization of your entire government, so long as we run an "Abuja is is the father of the house" economy, there will still be little progress.

Abuja is a cover up for the elites to loot the country dry. Everybody wants to be a politician and earn billions in the political chamber without lifting a finger.

Until we halt the over centralisation of our socio economy, there will be little or no progress.

GeneralMarshall:
Sure the Mi-28 would make a good buy for the army air corps, but it is not attractive for the air force, simply because it is not adaptable.

It is purely for attack/combat. It lacks transport capabilities and utility. Hence its out of NAF's purview. That is why NAF has stuck to its Mi-35 series which can attack like the Mi-28 and still transport troops, ammo, medicals, evacuate wounded, and many utilities roles.

Unless the army is getting an air corps, we might never use the Mi-28.

And I personally don't want the army having an air corps.
Did you see how the soldiers were showering praises on the NAF in bidexii's last twitter post. Seems an air corp for the army will go a long way in this war. We just need to find a way of ensuring proper sysnergy between the NAF and NA.
The DHQ has its hands filled.

https://twitter.com/chiefojukwu/status/1296333176093073408?s=21[/quote]Obviously, the bastards abandoned the technicals on sighting the NAF aircrafts. We would need a combination of jets and drones for surgical strikes in the future. The fear of the unknown will destabilize any force. Their strategies needs to be countered with a better strategy until they run out of options.

Sir, its time we allow our neighbouring countries in partnership with the french go it all alone. These guys see nothing good in our efforts. We have nothing to prove to them. The insurgency we are battling is stretching us but as a country, we are pulling our acts together and building a armed forces to reckon.
The best, we gather intelligence for partners who will participate militarily and we sit back to fortify our border security like we have always emphasised on this forum.
Our regional stance need to be emphasised. It doesnt make us any weaker but sends a strong signal to the ecowas that we fight our war without anyones dictate. It is an opportunity for the likes of Accra, Niamey and Ndjamena to have a feel of what it takes to shoulder the regions burden.

We have nothing to prove to anyone. My 2kobo

The earlier the south Africans intervene in the impending crisis in Mozambique the better for that region. Every regional power must take it upon itself to ensure that global terrorism is squashed as soon as they start raising their ugly heads.

You could even make a documentary out of it and sell to any movie company like Netflix, Warner bros, paramount etc this na real money o.
Coz there few documentary about war in west Africa and since when ISIS came in (ISWAP) I don't think I've seen any documentary on it
@SamuelAnyanwu. Seconded. This could just be a big break from humanitarian wahala. If I were you, I would take this route. You already have a platform here.

Op, bia. Who told you Nigeria is indispensable. As it is, we are as disjointed as the middle East, if not more. Sadly, the bigger we grow, the more we become irrelevant to the outside world.

Only Nigeria can explain what purpose it intends to be to the world. As for now, the world can move ahead without us. When we are ready to play catch up, we won't inform the world.

A country whose citizens aspirations is never in parallel with that of the country. Good for you that you are a citizen of other countries.

He made mentioned of unsubstantiated argument to deny us the weapons. Could some powers be pressing for the weapons to be delayed.

This issue of northern bandits is very deep.

Until the elites and politicians are ready to bring an end to the insurgency and banditry, we are still a long way to defeating it.
Every form of insurgency the country has ever witnessed has the blessing of some notable public figures who are close to the corridors of power.

The Niger Delta crisis is a case in study. Every militant who isn't in the good books of the ruling political class was either eliminated or made to disappear.
The same scenario is playing out in the north with a different geopolitical dimension.

The Norths cultural affiliation with neighboring countries, larger land mass and porous borders brings in a lot of complexity in comparison to the Niger Delta.

Na the same playbook, just revised edition
