Zinox of all companies! SMH. This company wey no know left from right. Company wey na only to dey run after government contract. Out of the rubbish pile, this company emerges again. Imagine the comment "nigerian graduates are not skilled". Why not employ the minister of labour, since he could be better skilled. How long will it take a computer science graduate to sharpen his or skill in MSQL, Oracle, MySQL etc Is it not nigerians that are managing central database for NIMC, BVN, INEC, Immiration, FRSC, LASSRA, Banks etc |
tempest01:Finally, we are thinking. Lets build up our gas production capacity for power generation to support our local industries, increase local refining capacity and export refined byproducts of crude since our oil is sweet crude. I see a shortage in supply of byproducts from foreign refineries as crude price continues to slump but a gradual demand for automobiles and other transport equipments. There is a void opening up in the future, if we position ourselves well, we can fill those void easily. We can generate revenues and employment for graduates all over this sector. This arm of crude production we have ignored for years. In fact, the way i see it, as the middle east continues to pump its cheap, heavy oil into global market, global economy will rebound, sweet crude exporters are going to hit goldmine soonest. The minister for state petroleum simply needs to put his acts together. An opportunity is opening up and this is the best time to take advantage instead of crying wolf. I have always said it that the fall in crude oil price should be a blessing and not a curse. This is the best time to be innovative. |
I stopped loving and hating tribes a long time ago.
I love humanity. |
Ancient and archaic practises like this continues to make the north backward. |
Indis-pakistan of all places. Op, u are lucky. Those two countries are hell-forsaken countries. Nigerians, should cherish and ask for fair treatment in their country. No place like home. |
Another open cheque for financial amnesty. |
I was at the scene of the incident today. The motor boy was trapped under the sewage tanker head. For twenty minutes, he was alive and struggling to live. There was no crane nearby to help lift the trailer head so as to help rescue the guy. All the security agencies could do was stand by and watch helplessly. The guy died minutes later. The police had to beg a motorised crane conveying mikano generator to the scene. In five minutes, the trailer head was lifted and the motorboy's body was removed. Funny enough, LASTMA crane emerged thirty minutes later to remove the wreckage. Our emergency response in this part of the country is just too poor. Lesson to lagos state, pls provide cranes for your emergency agencies, especially the lagos state fire service. RIP to the dead. |
A society filled with un-educated, religious extremists is a society doomed to fail. It might take 40 years for the north to understand this. |
vault:When did death sentence become the penalty for rape in nigeria. "Where he comes from death is the penalty for rape" If you believe this hogwash of a story, u a potential victim for the next scam. |
temitemi1:No doubt, enugu is the pride of the SE. I feel at home in that city. The citizens are well educated and the chics, OMG. I just hope the govt and the people continue to maintain its serene and beautiful status. |
Somebody said, we are losing money to capital flight by allowing foreign companies come into the BDC business. IMO, this is what we have gotten ourselves into. Where in the world do bankers collude with small time BDCs to shortchange the country by roundtripping and exploiting fx customers. We need check and balances in this business, if only the activities of travelex will be monitored and checked. The local operators and the bank staffs are nothing but economic saboteurs. |
System glitch and they took instant advantage. You dont have to an expert to do this but think smart. This only shows how slow and non secure our database security system is in nigeria. It must have taken more than two days for then to have withdrawn these monies and no one noticed this security flaws. Anyways, they say "Give a man a gun and he could rob a bank, give a man a bank and he would rob the world". The banks are criminals themselves. |
I can imagine this is the newst fraud that politicians perpetuate in the name of ICT compliance. Has the president seen this? |
Finally. Some eggheads in CBN are putting their IQ to use. Travelex is widely patronised in other countries. Those BDC crooks are in for a bad time. This will make them sit tight and work within govt stipulations. Personally, i would be happy to get my dollar from travelex than those cheap crooks on the street. |
Initially, it was really bad. In the last two weeks the situation has improved. I believe the minister is learning the rope, believing things will improve before the end of the year. BRF is the best man for the job. Though i disagree with PMBs decision to hand three ministries to him. Two is a burden, three is distraction. |
Conceptz:The fee is just for enrolment and lectures. The extra $300 is what cisco charges for you to take their certification. If you pass the certification exam, you get CCNA certified by cisco. If u dont you settle for aptech's ACNA. |
Nigeria has gotten too use to NOIs busy body. Kemi adeosun's arrival seems to douse the climax, especially @ dire economic times like this. I get the feeling that her role as finance minister may as well be dwarfed by The president's stance (just my thought). The CBN governor seems to be the one driving the boat, while we would expect the minister to constantly brief us on fiscal policies to cushion the effects of the rigid monetary policies. I just hope she works with the best hands and bold enough to exert her stance to an appreciable extent. I dont envy her right now. |
DSS dey disappoint me lately. Such cases should be reported tothe police and not DSS. I sense a big fish in the country has been extorted using this method. A lot of celebrities have had their images photoshoped with unclad pictures, whats the big deal? The FBI has never tried to arrest anyone. There are thousands of serena william, jennifer lopez, kate winslet photoshoped nude pics all over the internet, no one has been arrested. Abeg, DSS should face their primary duty. |
GreatSE:Are u for real? Ifeayi uba's investment confiscated by PMB? What exactly do you guys gain by spreading message of hate and slander. At the moment, ifeanyi uba's capital oil at berger and apapa are open 8am to 9pm daily. Its tankers are moving PMS round the country 24hrs. Ifeanyi Uba is raking in billions, you are busy using his name and business to spread false and hateful message on the internet. You are so pathetic. |
wittyt98:Its an experience. Now u would value your dear country more. No place like home. |
Larger percentage should go to agriculture and the rest should be channeled into various rural electricity project. |
Can u try this in china? NCC should withdraw their license of operation for two weeks and watch the way millions will port to other networks. MTN are criminals. |
The army heirarchy in collaboration with the govt officials (lai mohammed) are hiding the truth from nigerians. General burutai should just put a stop to all the push ups he puts up on the internet and just get the job done. The war is not in any way been won. We are unnecessarily sacrificing the lives of dedicated soldiers for the sake of propaganda. BH is still alive and potent. The ealier we accept the truth, the better our chances of getting rid of BH. The president should please do something, the situation is pathetic. |
Smartsyn:The debt we probably owe IMF and world bank@ the moment is probably part of abacha's loot that was loaned to us. The $300 million we are about to recieve is probably part of the interest we have paid over the years now paid back as abacha loot. The west just need another abacha to initiate the same monetary round tripping all over again. Today's abacha are never short in supply as far as nigeria is concerned. Only god knows how much has been lodged in foreign banks in the last 16 years. Abacha might just be a saint when compared to the looters that we have these days. |
Whether you did the same thing in your intro tech class back in the days of your primary school or the boy is from a witch infested village in abakaliki. All i can say is the future is bright for nigeria. |
Bankers and BDCs will be the order of the day. CBN better improve on their monitoring mechanism. |
KanoAbiaBabe:Majority are in a hurrry to nowhere. In lagos, you can dream and watch your dream come alive. Other states are just too dull for my liking. |
Beadex1:Very shameful indeed. These nine states are less than 20% of nigeria total land mass. Of what use is the rest of the other states if all they do is wait for monthly allocation. |
You give, wahala. You no give, wahala.. |
kelvinili:Their coverage is limited to lekki axis. |
