Why dont they also go mad so they can predict outcomes.. SMH for the desperate |
All snappers should ask themselves a sincere question which requires a sincere answer. If the victim was a relative will you be taking pictures?Lets search our conscience. |
Topccy007:I think her reaction is the immediate effect of prolonged solitary confinement. She will definitely show traits of mental instability. She will need serious pyschological assesment and care. These treatments are often used for human torture. Gosh, man has made the world a wicked place. Just hope the guy pays dearly with his life. |
4Play:I remember the then opposition spearheading the governor's forum for this call. Now, tables turned. |
Progressive01:Since the end of WW2, aside from the gains of advancement in space tech, both countries are known to leave tales of blood shed and sorrow in whichever country's affair they dabble into e.g Germany, korea, vietnam, cuba angola, syria, iraq, ukraine, libya etc. If you dont put your nation's affair in order, then dont expect a pope in them because they wine and dine with the devil's hatchet. 70% of the world's war machinery comes from their armoury. Your wars is their own gain. |
Another reason why we should get the rail sector properly functional. We might run away from it today, but tomorrow nature has a way of re-aligning fate. You cant bribe it. |
Just saw a documentary on an indeginous citizen of australia who spearheaded the call for self determination of his people as a nation on Aljazeera's "Eye witness" program. I was amazed how a high school graduate was able to channel his cause without anyone losing his or her life. Lesson for some people. |
Eagerly waiting to port my mtn number if the service is cheap and genuinely 4G. |
you will never find nigerian investors putting money in such creative ideas except importing of petrol, rice, toilet roll, toothpicks and all what not. Another talent in the wrong country. Our society dont encourage talent and creativity. A lot of talents have gone into waste, i just hope this one finds his way and get an investor abroad. |
I am not here to justfy the amount allocated for this purpose but seriously speaking, for a govt website that should efficiently run all the various MDAs in nigeria on a e-govt platform you will require far more than that. It all boils down to the functionality of the website. If these sites are going to be hosting multiple database and responding to query requests, definitely a regular website does not come to mind. There is the staff angle and of course hardwares, security and maintainace, all working in the background. It all boils down to funtionality. I peronally know of compaies who spend close to 70 million naira yearly on their web infrastructure alone. Whether its justified or not, i am not a financial accountant. |
And some fools are bent on scrapping the NYSC. |
The rogue elites ganged up to reap the future of this country into shreds by stealing its resources blind. It pains me most that some youths who are blinded by religious, political and ethnic sentiment go on social media to defend these crooks, while PMB a elderstate man who has come of age and maturity continues to fight for the future of a country he still believes in. It would have been easy for him to just sit back in daura and watch his grandchildren grow, but then this man has shown that the rot of the past can still be corrected. Yes, he might have his many, many flaws, but then is it the life sucking looters that should be pronounced "saints"? The youths of this country owe it a duty to show faith and conviction in this country. If a 74 year old man can, why not many of us who still have many, many years ahead. |
majekdom2:despite the sanctions, iran was doing business with india, russia and china. If you can sustain trade balance between these three countries, you can very well weather the sanction. The sanctions only prevented them from accessing western markets and its financial infrastructure. Coupled with adeaquate power supply via their nuclear power plant, manufacturing of local goods has been at the positive recieving end unlike ours, without sanctions we produce nothing except oil. There are so many things we can learn from iran. This is not the best time to be at loggerheads with any OPEC member. |
bidexiii:I can only imagine the sponsors of BH viewing these pics and saying to themselves "Well, at least they got paid, unfortunately their service and devotion is no longer required". Every rebellion is a secret conspiracy carried out by powerful, untouchable individuals or nations with strong intentions to tip an unfavourable balance. Take out the latter factors and what you are left with is a people in a race for survival. Its a pity BH would only pass for another deadly national conspiracy in the history of our dear country. I strongly feel nigerians deserve to know those behind BH sponsorship. |
Leez:why quote a long thread like this just to make short comment. You should be fined to booking space. |
This govt just cant take its eyes off oil business for a minute. |
DeLaRue:The outside world always knew we have the potential to become economic giants, but nigerians are always an impediment to the countrys growth. They will do anything to keep us from growing on our own. Our huge market is always an attractive market for their produce. The earlier we realise that no citizen of another country will like nigeria better than nigerians, the better for us. |
grandstar:This is the aspect of our economy that we always hammer on. It is the duty of the finance minister to furnish the public on what the direction will be in correlation with the monetary policy on ground. Where is that finance minister when you need her? She needs to take notes from NOI, just for morale boosting. |
DirtyGold:We live in a society where hardwork is jettisoned and ignore, nepostism and favouritsm is the order of the day. They call it connection. We are doomed in this country. Offices MDAs prefer to give contracts friends of CEO, church members, family members etc. |
JonSnow:Blame the discos and not the govt. All i see is akwa ibom govt encouraging foreigners to hijack investment opportunities in nigeria. |
No doubt that ICT has the potential to generate massive employment, but the private sector stands a better chance of generating 50,000 such jobs than the govt. For the govt to be able to generate such amount of jobs as they claim, they need to take ICT to the schools. Sadly, majority of teachers we have are ICT illetrates. This has to be seriously addressed. Not just threatening to sack teachers who refuse to be ICT compliant in a stipulated amount of time, but actually shaping the school curriculums around information technology. |

Its worthy to note that these street lights are not connected to the power grid. They are powered independently. Kudos to LASG. BRFs legacy lives on. |
Chai!! This is a monumental disgrace. Despite all the oil money. |
@Op, you can refine about 105 litres of gasoline or pms from a barrel of oil. If we consume 40 million litres a day, we would require 400,000 barrels per day to be refined in order to meet local demand. I find it amazing why some nigerians cant seperate economy from politics just for a moment. Politics has become a lifeline for some individuals, thats why we hardly achieve any meaningful economic gain. Be it natural disaster, epidemic outbreak, weather turbulence etc Nigerians are so sub-consciously quick to politicizing every issue. Politics has become religion for some people to the detriment of our nationhood. |
airsaylongcon:Okay. Anywhere in lagos will do for me. You? |
airsaylongcon:I have a saying; to be the best whitehat, dine and wine with the best blackhats out there. How fa, can i get kali 64bit version or whichever? |
One thing the police have mastered over the years is the art of lying and denial. One of the qualities of an average policeman is lying and deceit. No one is fooled, afterall they are answerable to no one. |
Very impressive. Some states are taking the bull by the horn. Thumbs up for Willy and Anambra. As for fulani herdsmen, god punish una ancestor if una you encroach these farm settlements. |
And this is a country where people dress up every sunday to worship and friday. I cant imagine the number of nigerians that will burn in hell. A country of callous and wicked souls. No wonder our country is upside down. Couldnt anyone have dialed 112 or something. We nigerians arejust as wicked as the leaders we get. |
cktheluckyman:See am, dem don start. Throwing counter accusations all over the place. A criminal is yesterday is a criminal anyday. No sins of crime should go unpunished. For now, its the sharia governor's turn today, OBJs turn will surely come. Where are those sharia court when you need them? |
OohLalah:What exactly does nigeria export to SA? The usual answer, CRUDE OIL!!! Nothing more. Unlike yours, we operate a open door policy when it comes to investment. You operate a very protective economy but your companies are quick to tap from other willing economies. Majority of your companies make profits from nigeria, but non of your companies is quoted on nigerian stock exchange despite the huge investments by nigerian banks and local investors. This says a lot about SA. Take a look at the trade volume between the two countries, it majorly tilts in your favor. What does that tell you? Nigeria is a lifeline that SA cannot afford to lose. Finding a market in the middle east indeed. How much of the north african market have you exploited? Majority of SAs automobile export, especially toyota, goes to nigeria. This explains why SA has continously opposed toyota's plan to establish a plant in nigeria. You south africans are not good competitors. Your companys go any length to remain dominant and its a pity nigeria has been bedevilled by leaders that are ignorant. But with recent global economic climate and local policy, that would soon change. The only advantage south africa has over other african nations is nuclear technology for abundant power generation. Remove that from the equation and all is left is economic uncertainty and crisis. |
