chidichris:

whatsoever is making ppl to rejoice here is making me to weep.
what a shame? nigeria and nigerians leaving the object for shadow.
are we deltans or are we nigerians? what ever happened to all the federal contracts awarded by obasanjo and all the funds spent on federal projects?
how come ibori is the problem of every nigerian? what will the death of ibori bring to us as nigerians? delta is just a state out of 36 plus abuja.
where are the other govs? why are we not asking why the other former govs are ministers and ambassadores, while others are facing trials.
i am from imo state and achike udenwa was my gov under obasanjo and was later made a minister under yar adua. i am waiting for someone who will tell me why ibori is facing trial while udenwa is facing promotion apart from udenwa being the first gov to sign the third term agenda.
if i am in ibori's shoes, i will use my last resources in fighting this personal wars. i will introduce granade and bombs and i will kill as many as possible before giving up.
enough of this one man show in a country of over 150 million ppl.
tell me any of those former govs that was loyal to obasanjo that is facing this same trial with ibori today.
t wink
i must say this here, ibori is a fool.
if i were him, by now 100 men will be down because i know he has what it takes to kill.
why will u choose among the govs who faces trial and who gets appointments?
ibori and other victims of this otah beats shld get themselves together and put up a lasting war and by so doing, the much awaited liberation from the claws of this deadly and devilish man might come sooner than we expect.

3, if u stay anywhere close to a rail line run into it while the train is approaching (do it real quick) so as not to be discouraged
4, climb a high rise building of at least 15 floors and jump down

smiley i tink NL THRIVES on the fact that it's an anonymous forum , i think most of the pple here would not have the guts(courage) to say some of the things they say here if it where to be an anonymous thing .

AND SO THE COMPARISON OF LIVELINESS ACTUALLY THRIVES ON IT ANONYMITY .

I can easily make reference to about ten pple on NL that cannot post a reply to a thread without cursing the hell out of the person.
am sure these same pple are on fb and can't do this.

@poster
my take on this issue as in any other issue in Nigeria is that things could be better with a stronger will.
it doesn't just end with having the money to do it the will is v important.

my sincere advise to those to those players in in aviation industry is to tell themselves some hard truth(s) ,

let us have one(1) i mean 1 not 2 not 3 but 1 totally standard international airport that could compete with some of the best in the world .
whenever i travel out this country and return and have to land at the MMIA it pains my heart truly. two months ago when i landed at the MMIA i actually felt like crying, cause my trip took me through three international airports and they were all a sight to behold in terms of all the basic things about an international airport.

have you ever landed at the MMIA with the emirates flight that lands in the afternoon, it actually lands at almost the same time that qatar airways lands so its actually one of the crazies times you could get into that place. (the best word to describe it is survival of the fittest) when i compare this to the way i had to picked my luggage's at dubai international or at jfk (which is one of the busiest in the world) or the way i picked my luggage's at LAX this is what actually almost brought tears to my eyes.

we travel at least most of us so we know what is obtainable lets do our best to make our country great again

GOD BLESS NIGERIA

Travel / Re: Getting Another Nigerian E-passport? by peruso: 12:26pm On Mar 03, 2010
justwise:

We live in Nigeria and we know what goes down in Nigeria. A very close friend of mine got another e-passport, how they do it, i don't know but in Nigeria, there is always a way around things,   IN NIGERIA ,  EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE well almost everything!! as long as you got money to blow!

Now this is sad, a website with 485248 members and some Nigerians are discusing how finger print can be deleted or messed about. This shows how silly some of u can be, he has one e-passport which is in the system somewhere with all his personal details in the chips AND he wants another one with completely different  detail but the finger print remain the SAME, what this means is that, there will be 2 passports out there with the SAME finger print but different personal details. Yes u can help him to delete it or whatever u think u can do but the fact still remain that he will be caught up when check is done on him electronically.

WHEN? AND AGAIN I ASK WHEN?
when do pple think the west and the rest of the world  will ever take us serious, when we ve a website with 485248 as members excluding those that browse by everyday(i know lots) and pple are giving info that depict fraud and even having the guts to defend it.
sony did one totally irresponsible  PSP advert we were angry at them, they produce anoder movie DISTRICT 9 of which the BAD  (exceptionally ugly) GUY had to bear nigerian former presidents name, we were still angry. now there's anoder one i just saw THE INFORMANT guess the part o f the movie they mentioned nigeria   (watch it ur self)

but yet, here are nijaerians on the INTERNET on a site that can be viewed from any where in the freely dishing out advice onhow to go about something that is FIRST MORALLY WRONG, fraudULENT AND ILLEGAL,

yes i agree wit money anything is posible in 9ja,,,, BUT PLEASE WAKE UP WIT MONEY ANY THING IS POSSIBLE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD.
HOPE U SAW WHAT HAPPENED IN NEW JERSEY RECENTLY AND WHAT IS  HAPPENING( AND STILL HAPPENING) IN THE UK PARLIAMENT, OR WHAT HAPPENED IN ENRON OR THE MADOFF CASE(these were nt nigerians) fraud can happen and is happening everywhere and anywhere .

the change we desire( for those that desire it only pls!!!!!!!) can only start with you and me

GOD CONTINUALLY BLESS NIGERIAN

Imagine that. Nigeria is a place where the literates keep quiet and allow the illiterates to talk. Since you literate folks dont want to say something then allow the illiterate to make their noise. If you knew better, then speak. The guy is expressing his dissatisfaction from the view point of his illiteracy.

Have you ever seen a bad road on TV in Zimbabwe? I can bet that nobody here has.

If anybody challenges the above, let them post pictures and their sources.

lots of vernom towards this guy, nawaooooo
although this resignation story is still unconfirmed, but if it were to be true

so no one will comend this guy for resigning honourably from the most lucrative position in the cabinet!!!!!

even if it is for loyalty sake or idealogy or outright disagreement with the curren man in charge,

think very well pple we've had this happen in our recent history,

if this story eventually becomes true we will only knw the truth from lukman himself.

IT HAS ALWAZ BEEN MY CANDID OPINION AND BELIEF THAT WHEN EVA A PERSON IS DISATISFIED WITH A SYSTEM YOU RESIGN HONOURABLY AND MAKE YOUR CASE FROM THE OUTSIDE,

LUKMAN (if the story becomes true) THNK U 4 TOEING D PART OF HONOUR. AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE TO FATHERLAND.
