Moura7: I'm a Messi fan and I'll be honest.... Ronaldo is a very outstanding player and he deserves whatever accolades he's getting now. Messi too is a great player, scoring 25 goals and getting 21 assists, with the highest number of chances created is no small feat at all. Having a whole team being over dependent on you too is not easy at all. A scenario where you're arguably single handedly, the scorer, creator, playmaker, dribbler is not fun at all. Sometimes we forget trophies are achieved by teams and not by single individuals, else Ronaldo's PK miss against Barca in 2008 UCL semis would have prevented manU from reaching the finals and his PK miss in the finals shootout too would have prevented manU from winning the UCL. Well said....they all seem to forget that football is a team sport. |

Not Wales, not Hungary, but the French team!! A former Euro winner and the eventual world cup winner 2 years later!!
Eder won the Trophy in the biggest match when. It matter most..
Euro 2016 stat (vs France, an Euro Standard opponent)
Captain: Nani Scorer: Eder MOTM: Pepe!!
Cristiano should stop boasting. They won it for him and not otherwise!! Mr. man, U've made no valid point.....bitterness does not pay....your opinion on CR7 is infinitesimal and does not count!!!....adios |

eni4real: What is the essence of being a highest goal scorer when you will.become silent in the FINAL when it matter MOST!!
Cristiano has been the highest goal scorer since for 4 seasons without winning any Trophy.. Ramos 93 minutes header is the beginning of a clutch performance for Madrid in the UCL
The same repeat itself in 2016 and 2018 too.. Why scoring many goals but became toothless when it matter most??
All thanks to John Terry Slip, Ramos 93 minutes header, Ramos goal in another final, Ramos destruction of Salah and Bale's Brace who won the 4 Trophies for Cristiano when it matter MOST!! Except the 2017 UCL final where Cristiano did well!!
Eder masterclass is my witness too!!
Cristiano became injured when he saw a 'Euro standard' team!! A team bigger than Wales and Hungary!!!
Also why scoring 311 League goals just to win 2 Trophies Why scoring all those useless goals?? CR7 has made his mark in football like Messi, why is it called a team sport? I bet U watch a different type of football..did U watch the 2008 UCL final? Eder Masterclass ...Oga U are just a bitter soul, goan get a life. |

The double standard and the lawlessness is the problem this country is truly facing. Someone hires a jet with the last name fashola destination Abuja, why won't they think its his family member going to see the minister of works from his constituency and home base lagos. Three things departure lagos, client name fashola and destination Abuja. It is not everybody that knows naira Marley's real name and I can bet you it was when the crew and the pilot now saw who the were truly airlifting before they knew it was naira Marley. I agree with U....I was shocked yesterday when I met someone who came into the country from Switzerland 2 weeks ago...he said he passed through Cape Verde and that he is returning next week. I will not blame the CEO to some extent, he granted approval on what was sent to him that is if he is sincere. The crew should be held accountable.... that his letter to the Minister though |

The industry of the Igbos too much....Nature did not favour their land in terms of topography with the exception of Ebonyi...but they have made great strides in terms of infrastructure and living condition. if they were to have vast plain lands like that of the North with strong agricultural potentials, I just imagine what wonders they would have done. Nigerians cannot even come together to speak against crime. They glorify it and turn every issue that should be attacked from angels to a tribal one. I beg to differ, do we have wanton issues in Nigeria? Yes!...No sane Nigerian would justify crime. Even in our diversities, every ethnic group in Nigeria abhors crime and even have punitive measures for such. Our problems as a Nation is institutional. |

Nigeria is estimated to be about 200 million people. less than a million constitute our thieving politicians, drug peddlers, fraudsters, insurgents, killer herdsmen, militants, armed robbers, ritualists, rogue cops, tribal & religious bigots, think of the likes. An idiotic South African generalizes Nigerians and more annoying so-called Nigerians on this platform are justifying his statement. The stupidity that characterises unreasonable Nigerians is such that even if the country is split into clans today, there would still be pointing of accusing fingers to certain quarters within such clans. LastProphet: Intelligence is not the stake here, it's about enlightenment. All creatures are intelligent to their own degrees but enlightenment is beyond that. Enlightenment is the reason why I will not kill another human being irrespective of how many holy or reverred books urge me to. That's what's lacking in the entire ABU from the time of my contemporaries till date. The primitiveness of Zaria affects the school. A town where Elzazaky could collect tax and reign supreme tells you all you need to know about Zaria 'Monsieur ' stop displaying ignorance on cyber space. I grew up in Zaria and who the hell was El-Zazaky? He was one noise maker adored by brainwashed elements within his enclave. You know nothing about Zaria just premised on the fact that U went to do your MBA at Kongo. I have gone round the country to know that no University in Nigeria have the most of ethnic diversity than ABU..maybe Abuja and to some extent University of Jos then. I studied Geology and in a class of 70 we had representatives from the 36 states of the Federation... My HOD was from Poland, An Anambra Man E.C. Ike was my Field Coordinator, A Tiv Man my Project Supervisor. Indians taught me Maths and Physics. The 'Abokis' that taught me were not up to 35% and boy they were geniuses if U must know. To be candid standards are on the decline as I gathered recently, tribalism and nepotism is becoming the order of the day am not surprise. |

I remembered one vividly while working then in Akure. There was this big man who was an associate of my boss, his daughter's wedding. My boss said we should go, I told him I was not going. After mounting so much pressure on me, I decided to follow him. On getting to the reception venue, I had to park the car. I got to the venue entrance, Mopol did not grant me access asking for my IV. My boss was already inside and his phone was in my custody. After plenty grammar and showing my ID, I was allowed entry. Them share food...e no reach me, only got their water..damn!!! it was really embarrassing.... I was blazing with rage not because of their food but the trouble I went through with the Police folks before entering the place. I gave my boss strong words after that....I sure know how it feels. |
