MayorOfEdmonton: Don't be like this. You've only heard from her, just one side and you're already passing judgement. While I am not in support of spousal abandonment, there are a lot about her marriage that we're not privy to. Her marriage has been more virtual than in person. Ask yourself, why would he cut communication from his lawfully married wife just 4 months ago? They got married last year, he traveled back to Canada shortly afterwards and communication was good. And then 4 months ago he cut communication? Something must have caused it. You don't know, I don't know. The only thing we know is what she's said to us. That's one sided. Until you hear from him you shouldn't pass judgement. What I want is for her to do her investigation well before making any move, not looking for "appropriate Canadian" authorities and IRCC" to bring him down. I've said it in previous post, contact his school, friends, hire a private investigator. There are a number of ways to go about these things. MayorOfEdmonton: And just while you are seriously suspecting him, he was a student before he got married to her. So that means that when he applied for visa, he applied as a single. Amakaoyekachi1: If you have the funds, hire a private investigator. Keep following up with his school. How about his friends? You should at least know some of them here and in the abroad. |

Amakaoyekachi1: You can't really claim spousal abandonment until at least 12 months. You guys got married last year, he traveled back to Canada shortly after and communication between you two was good, at least for some time. 4 months ago, he cut communication with you. Anything could be wrong. Did anything change about you after he moved back to Canada? Were you putting undue pressure on him? Like finance and putting pressure on him to file for you so you can join him? Again, it's possible that he's not married and that email from his 'other wife' could be him sending it to you to give him some space. Relax! Your case is not ideal but give the young man some time. He's a student. 20 hours/week and he's funding his studies and stuff. Just 4 months of no communication and you're already thinking of contacting agencies and bringing the poor man down. What will you do when you land? Like I said earlier, you can claim spousal abandonment until at least 12 months. Calm down! 7 Likes |

Amakaoyekachi1: You already know what's up. He most likely married the other lady for papers. Important questions though: how long have you guys been married? how did you meet him? Were you guys married before he traveled to Canada for studies? Two options for you 1. Wait for him to get his PR, divorce the lady and file for you. This is probably going to take between 3 - 4 years. But then, this option might be a problem cos if he wants to file for you in 4 years time, your marriage certificate will show that you have been married for at least 5 years. 2. Contact the lady and let her know. See below. With this option, know that the marriage is over. Amakaoyekachi1: When was the last time you communicated with him? How do you communicate? If he’s on WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook, you should be able to determine his ‘last seen’ and know if he’s intentionally staying away from you. Do you know any of his friends? Whether in person or friends on Facebook/Instagram? Check people he has tagged or who have tagged him in pictures, and reach out to them to help check up on him. What school is he in? I’m not sure this is a good option to explore but schools have support services that you can reach out to, and they might just help to check up on him. 5 Likes |

Lotusgoddess: Oh okay. When I applied for remarks, Writing increased by 0.5. You never can tell though. 468 is a good score but with the current CRS score distribution in the pool, the number of candidates with CRS score 471 and above is 14,692 (as at May 25th). That means there will be at least 3 FSW draws of 5000 each before it falls below 471. And our brothers in Delhi keep entering the pool daily. You get the point now?! What ever you can do to increase your score... 3 Likes |

Biolar7: You need both your ECA report and IELTS General result to create an Express entry profile. Start with your ECA evaluation. It takes about 3 - 4 months for the ECA report to be out and it's valid for 5 years. You can start practicing for IELTS and write it around the period your ECA report is out. If you write IELTS now and your ECA report comes out in 6 months time, you would have wasted 6 months, cos IELTS is valid for 2 years 4 Likes |

Saynoomore: Whether or not you include your spouse Nigerian work experience, IRCC will not ask you to provide Proof of work experience for your spouse since you are not claiming points for spouse Canadian work experience. However, you should include spouse work experience under Personal history in your eAPR. Personal history should show all activities in the last 10 years or since turning 18, and your personal history does not have to match work history. Read Document requirements under Proof of work experience and the Individuals who must submit this documentation here: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/permanent-residence/express-entry/applications-received-on-after-january-1-2016-completeness-check.html 1 Like |

YakubuLagos: Simulate your CRS score and if your score is high enough, you should get an ITA. Evaluate one of your MSc degrees with WES and write IELTS General (target 8777 / LRSW). Your spouse should also evaluate her highest credentials and write the IELTS. If she's younger, has an masters or 2 degrees, and maxes out her IELTS, she'll get a higher score and should be the principal applicant. With your IELTS and ECA, you both should create separate Express Entry profiles. If your CRS score is higher than the next FSW cut off score, you should get an ITA. You can also explore the PNP route. Spend the next 3 hours reading from Page 1 here: https://www.nairaland.com/6081746/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled |

Abdulyakeen: If you want to practice as a pharmacist in Canada, you should evaluate your credentials with Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (professional body for Pharmacists). If you just want to get points for eduy without practicing, use WES. It's advisable to rewrite IELTS General. Target 8777 (LRSW). With your ECA (PEBC or WES) and IELTS, create an Express entry profile. Google different provinces and their immigration program. E.g. Google Saskatchewan PNP, get they requirements and apply. If you're lucky, you get an NOI. Spend the next 3 hours reading from Page 1 here: https://www.nairaland.com/6081746/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled After 3 hours, you should have an idea of how Express Entry works and associated costs 2 Likes |

ApostleBlack: You and your wife should both evaluate your highest credentials, write IELTS General and create separate Express entry profiles, while adding the other spouse as a dependent. Whoever has a better IELTS score will most likely have a higher CRS score. Again, depending on the province you both are interested in and your occupation, you might get an NOI from a province |

Under personal information, input your full name as it is now (your new surname). When you start adding the credentials you want to evaluate, you will be told to input the names exactly as it appears on the certificate. phabulous88: So my wife’s LLB ECA report with CES came out today. Whew! Outcome: First professional degree in Law from a recognized university. Timeline Electronic transcript received by CES on 23rd December 2020 ECA report: 28th May 2021. Duration: 5 months Both CES and IQAS evaluates LLB as a professional degree For CES, it's easy to create an application and make payment online. Timeline to receive your ECA report is 15 – 20 weeks (when you send your transcript electronically) For IQAS, it's a hassle creating an application and making payment (I spent over 2 months before I could create an account and make payment). If you scale this though, the timeline to receive your ECA report is about 8 weeks. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Emmy2009: I'm not a VO but whatever bulk amount you are depositing should match your earnings, ideally. Aside from your POF, you need to show a work reference letter, which should include your annual salary. If you're depositing 1m monthly while earning 500k then you need to do a LOE. Again, everything is at the discretion of the VO |
