My People,
Please, i no understand but wan borrow wisdom join little knowledge wey i get...

My 'Uncle' whom i claimed as a connection in Canada actually lived with my grandparents. As in my grandparents were his guardians. You know as we do things in this country, no document, his parents did not pay for guardianship, etc. Different family names entirely but he watched me grow up and he grew up with my maternal uncle and aunties(picture to proof). I call him Uncle and he sees me as niece. He is ready to provide all support needed.

From your experience house, how do you think Manitoba will treat this?
Or what further proof can i give base on the above scenerio?

Please, help me with wisdom

A Manitoba Supporter must be the applicant’s close relative or friend / distant relative

Your 'Uncle' can stand in as your distant relative or friend in your Manitoba PNP, provided he or his household is not be currently supporting the settlement of another MPNP applicant, nominee or person under another Canadian immigration program.

https://www.immigratemanitoba.com/immigrate-to-manitoba/swo/swo-eligibility/

Don't include him in your Express entry profile because EE does not recognize distant relatives/friends.

Hello guys, please i am new here and I need help on the step by step process for Canada express entry and WES result evaluation. I had OND and HND from Yaba College of Technology. I will also appreciate if I can be added to a whatsapp group. Here is my number 08064350439

Nobody has the time to start explaining the step by step process. All you need to know about the process is in Page 1. Link below. And trust me, if you dedicate 3 hours reading from Page 1, you will have a very good understanding of the process and how to go about it.

Hi everyone, my current CRS score is 493.
I av msc, had Ielts (L-8.5, R-8.5, S-8.5,W-7), and etc.

After waiting all these months, I'm considering applying for pnp, (oinp). But pple are saying my score is too high for pnp. Is it true? Has anyone applied for Ontario pnp recently? What is the CRS score that can apply or is there a range? Thanks.

Ontario invited nurses, investment managers, and accountants in the pool to apply for a provincial nomination on June 23, 2021. Candidates with CRS scores of between 464 & 467 were invited. I'm guessing it's cos the last general draw was 468.

https://www.cicnews.com/2021/06/ontario-pnp-invites-express-entry-candidates-in-10-priority-occupations-0618449.html#gs.4rbmk4

You have two options:
a) Pray that they resume the general draw. 490 is a good score.

b) Look for ways to reduce your CRS score ( e g.
intentionally flop IELTS) so its falls between 464 and 467. That way when Ontario draws again and your NOC is in demand, you will be invited.

But then, you don't know when the next general draw will hold. With the recent distribution of CRS scores in the pool, it's possible that the next general draw will be above 480.

If you reduce your score to 467 and we have a general draw, you won't be invited. You will then have to increase your score back to 490 and pray that the general draw is not one-off, like what happened in December 2020.

If it's a one-off general draw, you might be tempted to reduce your CRS score again to fall below 480 (assuming the cutoff in the general draw is 480), so that Ontario can invite you in their next PNP draw.

And now you're caught in a vicious circle.

Just chill

You don't need hardcopy for anything.

IELTS is really making cool cash ooo. The names of candidates was pasted outside, 253 in total.

Just in 1 centre in a day, not a month, IELTS pockets about 20 million naira, waoh.

MOD centre.

Multiply that by the number of centers in Nigeria.
They are really cashing out.

Good day all!!

Please, I want to make an enquiry.

My wife and I want to try this option but we want to know how good our chances can be.

I have a bachelor degree from Nigeria and I’m also almost done with another bachelors in an European country. My wife has a bachelor and a masters degree in biotechnology. She recently started working in a bank. We are both less than 30 years.

Please, how good are our chances..?

Simulate your CRS score here: https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

If your wife has at least 3 years of work experience, she’ll most likely have a higher CRS score cos she already has a Masters degree.

Though, I will be seeking PNP becos of age.

You should be able to create an Express entry profile with your IELTS score

But it’s advisable to rewrite IELTS again and target 8777 (in LRWS) to increase your CRS score and your chance to get an ITA.

Your individual scores in LRWS will fall to different CLBs, this In turn determines your final CLB on the test as a whole .

I believe thats what those highlighted statements mean and I have gone ahead to calculate this for people, If you still dont agree dont mislead people with your personal unbelief

this you said "3 years foreign work experience plus at least a CLB 7 gives you 50 points for Foreign work experience." is not possible, any occurence of CLB 7 will result to a max of 25 as seen on the canadian website

True.

Bros, calm down...I'm sure you didnt get the 50 points because of your ielts score...check the documentation..there is a part that says if one has at least one CLB 7 in the language test, the max you can get in foreign work experience is 25 points, but when you have all CLB 9 and above ..you get the 50 points

Please who has used fidelity and GTBank for POF? I was told at fidelity that the reference letter would not indicate all the items listed by ircc, but simply a letter that I have maintained the account for a duration. The letter of indebtedness would be issued separately.
Please how do I manoeuvre this? No 6months average to be stated.

Banks and stupidd policies.
How difficult is it to issue you a letter stating your average balance for 6 months?! Your own account o! Information that can be extracted in less then 30 seconds.

Do you mean I can just walk into any bank, show them my visa and they will help me change 4000USD at normal bank rate ?

Yes

Go with your passport to your bank and tell them you want to get a Personal Travel Allowance (PTA).

Hi everyone

Please I need some advice. I'm currently going through a divorce but I'd want to apply for Canada PR. I have my IELTS and ECA ready. Do I enter a pool as married or separated (I don't have any document to support separated)? Considering the legal system here the divorce might take the whole of next year

Also, if I apply as separated, and my divorce gets finalize after I apply as separated, what do I do in this case?

GraciousWords:

See this person's experience, it may help - she was LEGALLY separated, not divorced:
https://www.nairaland.com/5471101/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/742#93259381

PS: you must always have documents to back up any claim e.g. married- marriage certificate, separated- separation certificate, divorced- divorce certificate.

If your situation changes after you have submitted your application e.g. divorce is finalised or you reconcile with partner....... you simply inform IRCC.

Also READ page 1 and the application checklist there. All the best!

Please, to avoid mistake. If someone have gotten Europe visa rejection.

Should someone input yes in the place where they asked. Have you been rejected of visa before?

Knowing that Canada is not European country

Visa rejection does not affect your Express entry application.

Even those who were banned in the US have received COPR.

It’s better you disclose it cos if they later find out…

Sir/Madam,

Please, I need your assistance as regards to PNP which I can apply to. I'm confused I dont know what to do with below result.

IELTS L 7.5 S 7 R 6.5 W 6.5.
Age 29
M.Sc. Biochemistry
Children 2

My Husband is also an M.Sc. Holder and he has equally done IELTS exams.

I know that I have to rewrite my exams, meanwhile i want to in the pool with this result.

Other question, is it possible for me to pick a particular province while filling EE pool and go through other provinces different from what pick from federal EE pool and apply to them directly.

A friend advise me to pick either New Brunswick or Ontario, please can I go ahead with one of these because they dont require job offer.

I will really appreciate your contribution. thank you

Have you evaluated your MSc yet? If yes get into the pool and select ALL the province. Rewrite the IELTS immediately and try max out. You can submit application for multiple PNPs at the same time.

Your husband should also evaluate his MSc and write IELTS immediately.

If you max out IELTS, you should score 481, which is good to get you an ITA. If you clock 30, you loose 5 points.

Good day house

We recently indicated our interest for manitoba pnp and I we r currently in the pool.

Pls can we still apply to other provinces ?

Can i also apply for express entry also?

It’s obvious you don’t understand how the Canadian immigration works.

Express Entry is an electronic management application system for immigration to Canada. It facilitates the selection and processing of Canada’s economic immigration programs:
- Federal Skilled Worker Program (focus of this thread)
- Federal Skilled Trades Program
- Canadian Experience Class
- Provincial Nominee Program

The Manitoba PNP is step 1, and you cannot move to Canada with just a provincial nomination.

You must create an Express entry profile and include your Manitoba nomination (or any other provincial nomination) in it.

Are you eligible for Express entry? Seems you are still in school. You must have a university/polytechnic degree and evaluate your credentials. You must write the IELTS General exam (To stand a good chance, you should score 8,7,7,7 in Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing respectively). You must have at least one year work experience.

Read here to understand how Provincial nomination works: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/provincial-nominees/application-process/express-entry.html

Check your eligibility here: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/come-canada-tool-immigration-express-entry.html

I did the 2 in the same University.
Now what I'm not clear wit is will I have to evaluate the second one àlso. How will I go about that?

Hi guys, I have been reading the thread and trying to get everything I will need to open an EE profile. I am married with 2kids, but hubby doesn't seem keen on the relocation plans anymore . I do not want him to be a hindrance for me in anyway, do I choose the option of spouse not relocating too or I choose separated

Have you simulated your CRS score for either option?

If you want to apply with spouse unaccompanied,
1. You must show proof of funds for entire family, whether or not your spouse is coming with you
2. Medical examination must be done by all your dependants, and you must submit PCC for your spouse whether or not he is coming with you
3. You will provide reasons why he is not accompanying you

Good evening everyone, please i need to know, i am processing PR through PNP, i have masters, 13 years work experience and 7.5 score in lelts, someone just told me i need to write tef to stand a chance because of age, 38 please is this information correct?

TEF is not compulsory for PNP, but having it will boost your point. Check with the province you are interested in and calculate your point. If your point is above their cut off, they send you an NOI the next time they draw.

Your overall score in IELTS (7.5) does not really matter, what matters most is your score in each of the components.

Before you start applying to provinces, ensure you have an Express entry profile.

In Express Entry, only your siblings can give you points.

Don’t start claiming a relative again o, especially if that relative did not list you as a brother or sister.

Except you want to go through PNP

Hello OP,

In 2015, I applied for a US visa which was granted however, I was deported at POE and banned from entering the U.S, reason for the ban been that I lied in my application.

Now, I want to know, what can I do about this and what other countries can I apply to?

Your US visa ban shouldn’t affect your immigration to Canadian via Express entry, provided you disclose the ban and the reason for the ban in your application.

Happened to a lady “Obiageli”. She was given a US permanent ban 11 years ago. Received her ITA in 2019 and her PPR/COPR around January 2021.

Infact ehn

That man is facing alot honestly.
International student for that matter.

Schooling and paying all the bills by himself is very very tough.

If the man doesn't love her, he won't bother coming home last year to marry her, that money will even go a long way....
The marriage shows the plan is still there, guyman just need some time off to figure out the way around

I think the man is just using that said lady in Canada to survive, International students will understand better. She might just be a girlfriend

My point exactly! The guy came back to Naija, did court and trad marriage. Say he no spend, close to 10,000 Canadian dollars would have gone down return tickets, marriage stuffs and other billable.

Who will spend that kind of money of he doesn't love his woman?

While I'm not in support of him cutting communication or even having another girlfriend whilst he's married, I think his wife in Nigeria should do proper investigation before making any move and involving Canadian authorities.

Again, I'm not holding brief for him. Some men like keeping their business in-house. There are some things he might tell his wife and the next thing is that her whole family knows about it. Maybe.

She has his phone number, email, address, etc. If he's not picking her call, she should get a Canadian number (2nd line App, Skype, etc) and call him. He has friends, she should reach out through them. He school, etc.

I was reading through your reply until I got to the last paragraph. Please don’t say just 4 months of no communication is a trivial matter, more so people are different emotionally. To a small extent I understand her inner turmoil. I’ve been married since 2019 and I’ve only seen my husband just once after the wedding; we also talk every damn day, yet I know how much our marital situation has affected me deep within and outwardly. How much more so someone who’s husband has essentially ghosted her.

Although I understand you are trying to make her reason calmly through her situation - of course she needs to be calm and calculating - but terming 4 months of her husband being incommunicado “just” is quite dismissive of the effect of her predicament on her. She needs closure. If her husband did value the marriage he’d have fought tooth and nail to constantly contact her. So if contacting agencies will give her closure and psychological balance, then let her do it. It’s her prerogative.

I hear you but I never said it was a trivial matter. In fact, I really do empathize with her. In one of my posts i stated that I'm not in support of spousal abandonment.

The"just 4 months..." you read is the first part of the sentence. Just 4 months of no communication and you're already thinking of contacting agencies and bringing the poor man down

Haba! You sef put yourself as the guy.

You travel to Canada to study as a single person. After some months, you come back to 9ja and marry you woman. You then traveled back to Canada and everything was good. 4 months of no communication and your wife is already thinking of contacting agencies or the IRCC to "bring you down", because she "thinks" you married someone else there.
