Dimeji2020: A Manitoba Supporter must be the applicant’s close relative or friend / distant relative Your 'Uncle' can stand in as your distant relative or friend in your Manitoba PNP, provided he or his household is not be currently supporting the settlement of another MPNP applicant, nominee or person under another Canadian immigration program. https://www.immigratemanitoba.com/immigrate-to-manitoba/swo/swo-eligibility/ Don't include him in your Express entry profile because EE does not recognize distant relatives/friends. 2 Likes |

tannystacey: Ontario invited nurses, investment managers, and accountants in the pool to apply for a provincial nomination on June 23, 2021. Candidates with CRS scores of between 464 & 467 were invited. I'm guessing it's cos the last general draw was 468. https://www.cicnews.com/2021/06/ontario-pnp-invites-express-entry-candidates-in-10-priority-occupations-0618449.html#gs.4rbmk4 You have two options: a) Pray that they resume the general draw. 490 is a good score. b) Look for ways to reduce your CRS score ( e g. intentionally flop IELTS) so its falls between 464 and 467. That way when Ontario draws again and your NOC is in demand, you will be invited. But then, you don't know when the next general draw will hold. With the recent distribution of CRS scores in the pool, it's possible that the next general draw will be above 480. If you reduce your score to 467 and we have a general draw, you won't be invited. You will then have to increase your score back to 490 and pray that the general draw is not one-off, like what happened in December 2020. If it's a one-off general draw, you might be tempted to reduce your CRS score again to fall below 480 (assuming the cutoff in the general draw is 480), so that Ontario can invite you in their next PNP draw. And now you're caught in a vicious circle. Just chill 3 Likes |

chidi4eze: Simulate your CRS score here: https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp If your wife has at least 3 years of work experience, she’ll most likely have a higher CRS score cos she already has a Masters degree. |

kroy: You should be able to create an Express entry profile with your IELTS score But it’s advisable to rewrite IELTS again and target 8777 (in LRWS) to increase your CRS score and your chance to get an ITA. |

kkk21: Have you evaluated your MSc yet? If yes get into the pool and select ALL the province. Rewrite the IELTS immediately and try max out. You can submit application for multiple PNPs at the same time. Your husband should also evaluate his MSc and write IELTS immediately. If you max out IELTS, you should score 481, which is good to get you an ITA. If you clock 30, you loose 5 points. 2 Likes |

prettymee: It’s obvious you don’t understand how the Canadian immigration works. Express Entry is an electronic management application system for immigration to Canada. It facilitates the selection and processing of Canada’s economic immigration programs: - Federal Skilled Worker Program (focus of this thread) - Federal Skilled Trades Program - Canadian Experience Class - Provincial Nominee Program The Manitoba PNP is step 1, and you cannot move to Canada with just a provincial nomination. You must create an Express entry profile and include your Manitoba nomination (or any other provincial nomination) in it. Are you eligible for Express entry? Seems you are still in school. You must have a university/polytechnic degree and evaluate your credentials. You must write the IELTS General exam (To stand a good chance, you should score 8,7,7,7 in Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing respectively). You must have at least one year work experience. Read here to understand how Provincial nomination works: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/provincial-nominees/application-process/express-entry.html Check your eligibility here: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/come-canada-tool-immigration-express-entry.html http://www.immigratemanitoba.com/immigrate-to-manitoba/general-mpnp-policies/apply-for-pr/ Also read from Page1 here: https://www.nairaland.com/6081746/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled 2 Likes |

KikiGe: Have you simulated your CRS score for either option? If you want to apply with spouse unaccompanied, 1. You must show proof of funds for entire family, whether or not your spouse is coming with you 2. Medical examination must be done by all your dependants, and you must submit PCC for your spouse whether or not he is coming with you 3. You will provide reasons why he is not accompanying you 1 Like 1 Share |

chygurl24: TEF is not compulsory for PNP, but having it will boost your point. Check with the province you are interested in and calculate your point. If your point is above their cut off, they send you an NOI the next time they draw. Your overall score in IELTS (7.5) does not really matter, what matters most is your score in each of the components. Before you start applying to provinces, ensure you have an Express entry profile. 1 Like |

In Express Entry, only your siblings can give you points. Don’t start claiming a relative again o, especially if that relative did not list you as a brother or sister. Except you want to go through PNP 1 Like |

buchhogonzalez: Your US visa ban shouldn’t affect your immigration to Canadian via Express entry, provided you disclose the ban and the reason for the ban in your application. Happened to a lady “Obiageli”. She was given a US permanent ban 11 years ago. Received her ITA in 2019 and her PPR/COPR around January 2021. oluayebenz: My point exactly! The guy came back to Naija, did court and trad marriage. Say he no spend, close to 10,000 Canadian dollars would have gone down return tickets, marriage stuffs and other billable. Who will spend that kind of money of he doesn't love his woman? While I'm not in support of him cutting communication or even having another girlfriend whilst he's married, I think his wife in Nigeria should do proper investigation before making any move and involving Canadian authorities. Again, I'm not holding brief for him. Some men like keeping their business in-house. There are some things he might tell his wife and the next thing is that her whole family knows about it. Maybe. She has his phone number, email, address, etc. If he's not picking her call, she should get a Canadian number (2nd line App, Skype, etc) and call him. He has friends, she should reach out through them. He school, etc. Amakaoyekachi1 9 Likes 1 Share |

YesLadyN: I hear you but I never said it was a trivial matter. In fact, I really do empathize with her. In one of my posts i stated that I'm not in support of spousal abandonment. The"just 4 months..." you read is the first part of the sentence. Just 4 months of no communication and you're already thinking of contacting agencies and bringing the poor man down Haba! You sef put yourself as the guy. You travel to Canada to study as a single person. After some months, you come back to 9ja and marry you woman. You then traveled back to Canada and everything was good. 4 months of no communication and your wife is already thinking of contacting agencies or the IRCC to "bring you down", because she "thinks" you married someone else there. 11 Likes |
