dearpreye: The same great work is ongoing at the Eleme axis. The once dreaded bush around the Eleme mini bridge has been cleared, a police has been installed ( probably the last administration did that; I just started seeing it a few days ago). Criminal activities around that bridge is totally cutoff. Every place is open and one doesn't need to fear as they approach the bridge. That's change.
There's serious work going on that road. I've plied that route for more than 6 years. I know or very well.
Amaechi did very well, especially during his first term; his second was spent in noisemaking. His strides will take Wike years to meet. But it's time to support Wike to continue from where Amaechi stopped. Enough of all these attacks on Wike.
He's started on a very high spirit, and we expect him to continue with the same spirit all through his period in Brick House. i agree completely with this. If this whole thing turns out not to be initial gra gra, then i ll come here and eat my words. |

huangcheng: I have warned my brothers repeatedly to STOP including the SS in our struggle for Biafra. Let them stay with Nigeria or negotiate their own exit while we work to develop the human resources in the 5 SE states. These people are very different from us, they are like the almajiri of the Eastern region. Although they are good people and i have a soft spot for them, they are not very reliable and can be prone to violence. Unlike us, they have no communal relationship amongst themselves. To them, everything must be divided and sub-divided to accommodate every tribe such that it's fraction becomes an infinite number. It's all man for himself and God for everybody kind of brotherhood.
We believe in handwork, entrepreneurship and innovation, we believe in human development but they don't. They walk, sleep and dream about OIL with a disturbing sense of entitlement that makes them unproductive. Instead of going out to work they'll rather wait all year long for Shell and Chevron to share the money. In-fact, if a SS man sleeps with a prostitute, he expects Shell to pay for it... and i'm not kidding.
Do not bring these people to Biafra, they will scream marginalization even in Biafra. 5 SE states is enough for all of us.
Ndi-Igbo Mmamma nu ooo well said! This laziness is everywhere in the Niger delta. i fear for them honestly. If the oil in their land dries up,im not sure they can survive. They re inherently lazy and Its a big problem. |

Atlantian: This is an international disgrace. Where do I hide my face oh God, what a shame. Buhari went to America with Oshomole's wife, wearing red sexy dress. Rochas Okorocha wearing towel on his neck, Amaechi wearing a useless apron that looks much more like a snake skin. No Economic Team, No Ministers, no Blueprint and no plan. Even when Businessmen pay their way there to help our image, the dullard shamed the CBN governor.
I am so ashamed to be a Nigerian now. I feel like disappearing. ...because a country where men are allowed to sleep with men has a terrible opinion about our country and our president? Yeah....I really think you should dissappear. |

No source ?? And we are discussing this ?? If This is true,im more dissappointed in the US. A country that has totally löst it. A country that,in order to be seen as the Home of the liberal ,has gone on to sh.it on what made them great in the First place; solid Moral values. A country whose foreign policy has been abysmal to say the least. I will not lose sleep because of how such a country sees Nigeria.QED. we do not need their help,IMHO. We cant accept their help, when in fact they think of themselves FIRST and the country they are "helping" SECOND. Let buhari sit his a.ss down at home and solve our problems. |

Mods, please put this on the frontpage.Let people Know whats going on in the east.
@OP.....there is no reason why the south east cannot feed itself. onitsha, aba and nnewi alone can grow the SE. all the east needs is an enabling environment. Our leaders (including our leaders in the east)have failed us...otherwise what stops the leaders of all the eastern States from coming together and building Power plants solely for the markets at aba and onitsha and the industrial district at nnewi? What stops them from coming together and giving the necessary support to governor udom to actualize the ibaka Port.A port in akwaibom would serve the east well. With an international airport and a seaport in the east the FG can go f***ck themselves.(pardon my expression) |

brainpower: Thanks for the insults. First of all, I don't want to die for GEJ because he isn't God and he's also responsible for his defeat. Secondly, I'm not a party member so I must say it the way it is in my mind. Thirdly, thank God man isn't God if not with this kind of insults coming from you, I would have been dead by now. Talking about where both of them are, it is quite clear. GEJ is at home resting and preparing for any moves PMB will make against him while amaechi escorted Buhari to the US as an ordinary citizen. Amaechi is lobbying for a position while GEJ is making governors. In as much as they have both excelled in their various endevours, I don't think you can compare GEJ's personal achievements to amaechi's. Don't forget he was the president of Nigeria, a position that will take wiping away history for Amaechi to ever be able to achieve. calling you clannish is Not an insult. Let me ask you....Do you think amaechi "betrayed"his people |

Politics › Re: The Vindication Of Amaechi by phantom(m): 9:49am On Jul 20, 2015 |
brainpower: Whenever I see Amaechi's supporters write, I laugh so hard because all these are as a result of his hopes of clinging a ministerial position. They believe the court will council the Rivers state elections and wouldn't want what happened between him and Omehia to happen again where everyone left him and he finally won. But the truth and fact is this, Amaechi is no longer the governor of rivers state just like GEJ is no longer the president of Nigeria. All these supports will end when the tribunal as well as the court of appeal and supreme court upholds Wike's election. I am from rivers state and the same LGA as amaechi and I can say with facts that amaechi was very corrupt and ruled with impunity. Just recently, Dakuku came to PH with channels TV crew and lied about the LG chairmen issue and caused chaos and ran away. Soon Amaechi will be forgotten. How can dakuku defeat Wike when he isn't even as popular as Wike in the state. It has always been between Wike and Amaechi. But hope is a good thing, it keeps people from killing themselves. Amaechi's time has gone and to me it's good riddance. rubbish post! Typical clannish niger deltan who will never rise above his clannishness to See Sense in this article. SMH. may be i should get a blackboard and draw pictures for you. that amaechi you love to hate, where is he today? That GEJ you want to die for, where is he today? Continue dancing unclothed in public. Your stock is rising. ...but this same luxury was not given to GEJ in certain issues. Let's be objective. |

barcanista: It is a fact that it was Buhari's DPP that withdrew the case against Sylva. Which made another judge struck out a second case.
It is also a fact that Jonathan's EFCC prosecuted FFK in which an APC lawyer was the lead counsel. In fact, FFK was freed because the APC lawyer Keyamo refused to do thorough job.
It is also on record that Nigerians saw improved security in the NE between Feb and May 28. please if you want to criticise,do it properly. Between February and may ? Abi the six weeks before the elections? What does that tell you?? Your man GEJ played politics with things he shouldn't have played it with and it cost him.
