What do u know about football either? What a silly question!!!

I don't know so much about football, but a team 2 goals down at home coming all out to get a goal and possibly an equalizer wasn't a desperation for goal, and that my sister prompted that question

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Arsenal Vs Manchester City (0 - 2) On 13th January 2013 by pharmow: 5:29pm On Jan 13, 2013
I no know why people dey take emotion analyse matches, we saw in Man U match some couple of minutes ago when Johnson pull valencia down, despite the fact that he was on yellow card the ref still overlook. Am not saying what Koschieny did isn't bad, but at that stage of the match, penalty and yellow card is reasonable.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Arsenal Vs Manchester City (0 - 2) On 13th January 2013 by pharmow: 5:22pm On Jan 13, 2013
If na ferdinard or any man U defender do wetin koschieny do, no ref go give am red card after giving penalty. that kinna holding wey Koschieny do, I can't count the number of times when ferdinard don do am

If no be for AW and idiotic arsenal mgmt that sold van judas to Man utd, imagine the the kinna players man utd would be using as strikers. Welbeck and chicharito that would miss 100 chances before scoring a goal

Politics / Re: Fire Raging At Makoko Ebute-Meta by pharmow: 8:16pm On Jan 08, 2013
coolrose: I dont really know exactly which section to place this news. But there is a fire raging around Makoko in Ebute-meta area visible from 3rd mainland bridge. Fire is consuming those houses made of planks on the water. I hope the fire services can do something to safe lives and properties of those poor people.

Shey the planks are on water and water is in abundance there, what is the fire service going to bring when they get there? is it not the same water? people should get off their behind and find a way of quenching the fire instead of waiting for fire service that wont get there in another 2 years

Siga: .....bros...na cream we dey call milk for naija....if u want 35% fat .....dem get am for Canada..... if u wan Nido, Peak milk naija brand....e dey Toronto wella.....might be expensve....but anything u want we get am for Toronto....no wahala....infact, if u want.....we get naija grocery stores wey go mail whatever u want to u anywhere u are in Canada....

@Siga U understand what am saying, am not saying they can't get it. Personally I no dey patronize african stores for here, prices of foodstuffs there are killing which is the reason am advising people that are still in naija to bring along things they can get in naija at relatively lower prices. Surely there are winter jackets everywhere here but I still advise people to get some fairly used which I think is economical.

@Kayce43 windmobile is a mobile telecom coy just like MTN or Glo and their service is reasonable and cheap
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 3 by pharmow: 7:40pm On Jan 08, 2013
For those coming to Canada this January, try and bring thick winter jackets from naija. If U are the type that like eating spicy foods, bringing enough ground pepper won't be bad idea cos Oyinbo no dey eat pepper o. U can also hold on to powder milk like peak or nido milk, there milk here drives me nut (0% fat). Lastly for your mobile, the best option for student is wind mobile others are damn expensive.

For people that have gotten their trvs congrats and for the expectants, wishing U all the best

I wonder at the way Nigerians think at times, 150 people has to be killed for U to believe that there was an attack on a mosque. Surely the problem of the country is the people.....hatred and vengeance flows in an average Nigerian blood, if educated people on this forum can have this kinna shallow thinking then what is expected of the almajarins

earthgreeners:

He is in Niagara , I guess he is also studying EAM....He also lives in St. Catherines.....

I applied to;
UofM - Natural Resources Mgt
UofS - Env and Sustainability
MUN - Msc Env. Science

wanna settle for the one with the best funding package. Though, MUN is just a precautionary choice cos of the low tuition and the ease of PR, I dnt really like the province (NFDL)

Your advise bro?

@Earthgreeners, I happen to be the only Nigerian doing EMA that is nairalander, I will ask some of the naija guys here which one of them has the username @sirdam.

About your choices, they are all okay but personally I will go for UofS, I personally like saskatoon compare to the other 2 cities. chance of getting PR in any of the provinces to my knowledge is not as hard as Ontario. moreso, U can move from one province to another and any of the courses is lucrative in Alberta which is a province beside saskatchewan. I can't wait to see U in canada bro
