canadianboy: Hello House? i tracked my application on Friday and my status has changed to :" Please contact the Visa Application Centre for further instructions , your attention is required at the earliest". I stay in Abuja and i have instructed my brother(who helped me submit the application before) to help me go to VFS tomorrow so that i can know the next step as i am resuming for Sept 2012 program, time is really not on my side again. I sense this would be medicals. For those who had done their medicals, is there any Abuja hospital in the list? What is the average amount collected by the hospitals ( either those in Abuja or Lagos)?

I know there is an hospital in Abuja in the list but I cant remember the name. For the clinic in lagos where I did my medicals, the amount was N20,000 so that of abuja should be in that range.

smallz001: Just a word of advice, I studied Environmental Science for my masters in the US and I am currently living in Canada (Toronto). I noticed that you are thinking of studying environmental related courses in Canada. My advice to you is to look into schools in and around calgary because of the oil industry there. They are really looking for employees there with background in the environmental field, and they pay very well, better than toronto. So while you are at school, you could be able to get part time work or full time work during your holidays. Upon completion of your studies, I am sure getting a company to sponsor you will most likely not be difficult.

If u want to study in Canada,
The first thing is to browse to see d schools dt offer ur course.
For me, I needed an affordable school wit gud ranking so I searched google for ranking univ in canada.
Frm there, I had an idea wia each sch falls, then I moved over to searching for affordable ones.
The last time I checked, Memorial Uni of Newfoundland was d cheapest univ in canada. It also had a good ranking.Univ of Regina is affordable too,Dalhousie , etc

Remember dt most univ accept 2.1 while colleges 2.2 and below.

Select school and course, then check their deadline for application and apply . Make sure ur supporting doc reach the sch before deadline. Also remember dt u have to apply for visa min of 3 months before the start date( so for ppl just applying for Jan admisn now, wish u luck, cos univ takes time to process their admisn before giving acceptance letter)
Some univ wait till the admisn deadline, rank the aplicants before giving admisin but some colleges don't. Seneca college toronto offers admisn quickly- though its expensive and a college.

If u r on scholarship, please choose top 5 schools in Canada (let them pay for it) bt remember those schools are very competitive, so apply for some other middle ranking school too.

Most schools have 2 methods of application- online applicatn and paper applicatn.
Online is faster and easier.
Follow the schools instructn. The requirements are always on the sch website.
If u r reqd to write statement of interest or personal statement, remember dts ur marketing tool.
Tell them why u want to study a course, why they shld reject other applicant and offer u d admisn. Sell urself,Relevant skills, relevant course don't before, achievents etc. U can just google statement of intrest sample on google and see results.

When u get accepted, complete ur application forms, get all required docs and proceed to embassy.
Before u submit at embassy, make sure u go thru this thread. see d doc submitted by successful trv applicants and try as much as possible to do so if u can.
Most importantly, pray for the will of God to be done in ur life ( sum ppl will prosper more in Naija than in Canny).

Go to www.ontariocolleges.ca That should help U out. About getting admission in the college of your choice, U need to send your transcript and pay application fee. There could also be need of you sending your statement of purpose to them.

canadianboy: I submitted my application for TRV in May 15 and my status has not changed since then, meanwhile i am scheduled for Sept 1, 2012 resumption and i am also given funding amounting to $8,176 @ Univ of Sask for my Master's program. Wont you think the school would want to reassign the scholarship award to another person. Please note again that, i am applying the second time as i was refused visa the first time based on insufficient funding( having used an uncle as a sponsor) but now i am sponsoring myself with enough funds in my account.

As regards your scholarship, I believe it can't be affected so far U carry the school along with the status of your application. I will advise U to send email to CDHC asking them how far with your application cos there is no time bro

But based on the way countries of the world are categorized; any countries with more than 50% Muslim population is categorized as MUSLIM COUNTRIES while other are simply called non-Muslims Countries.

I can confidently say that these countries have a remarkably low level of domestic or any form of violence compare with non-Muslims Countries.

Why the unjustifiable attack on IRAQ - Iraq, if you could remember are relatively peaceful until the then US President – George W. Bush fabricate a big lie that they are building Nuclear Weapon to perpetrate evil to the rest of the world.

nextpart: Gentlemen, the issue of Christianity and Islam is a very serious thing because it has to do with eternal life, i.e. life after dead.

If Christianity is the right way to heaven it means the whole muslim world is going to hell and vice versal. But let us reason together and be sincere to ourselves:

In the bible book of Luke 1: 26-35, one angel Gabriel came to virgin Mary and told her she would have a son and he shall be called '' the Son of God.

Then Jesus was born. God Himself confirmed that Jesus was His son: Mathiew 3:16-17, Luke 3:21-22, Mark 1:10-11

But about 650 years later after Jesus had come and gone, an angel introduced himsef to Mohammed as Gabriel and told him that God does not have a son. Remember it was one Gabriel that told Mary that Jesus would be Son of God which God Himself confirmed as quoted above. This second angel Gabriel that appeared to Mohammed could not have come from God because his message is a contradiction. God cannot deny what He has said earlier.

Now that it has been established that the second angel Gabriel is not from God, it means the Quran is questionable because all the message in the Quran was given by the false angel. This angel is no other spirit than Satan.

Changing Gods word to deceive human race is Satan's usual strategy from begining. He used the same strategy for Adam and Eve.

I do not subscribe to attacking Mohammed as a person. He was deceived. The same deception is going on among churches today. We interprete the bible differently trying to change God's word. That is why different churches believe in different things.

My advice to the muslims is to refuse to be deceived by Satan and accept Jesus. Jesus says '' I am the way the truth and the life, nobody come to God except by me'' (John 14:6).

As U said angel gabriel did actually came to mary that she will give birth immaculately which is well elaborated in the Quran but he is not son of God cos God was not begotten and he can never begets. Moreso U people call Jesus God too according to trinity doctrine, so which one is true? son of God or God himself. Jesus is nothing but well-respected prophet of almighty God and he also said so several times in the bible. There are so many falsifications and alterations in the bible which is due to the fact that when it was been compiled(about 400 years after the death of Jesus by constantine emperor of rome secretly) all the disciples of Jesus were dead and the truth they wrote in their books could have easily been editted. Moreso, paul who was born years after Jesus died wrote as much as 7 books in the new testament from hearsay and that a spirit(likely evil) entered him when alone and he was the one that coined the word "son of God" because Jesus never said so while he was alive. Also, don't forget the fact that the bible was hidden from the public for centuries in rome which also would have made it easy to be finetuned and editted by the romans. Whereas the Quran was revealed to prophet Muhammed (may the peace of God be upon him) by angel gabriel and it was compiled in his presence and wasn't hidden from the public ever since. So from this analogy which one is likely to be more genuine between the two. I need your answer please.

Exactly the same problem I faced with my sponsor's employer on getting his reference letter which led to not submitting my application on time. Do not let that delay if U can't get it on time, use his employment letter, coloured photocopy of his ID card and payslips of 6 months. On the tax clearance follow what @donnet advised. God almighty will help us all
