Only the Chinese option of a joint venture for any investment will satisfy me. That was one of the ways they were able to steal knowledge and technology from the western investors. The same way the asian tigers raised them up is the same way they are coming here but we should not let them have their way without gaining things from them. No be only employment Nigerian need abeg.

This is the work of the federal government and not the state government, in our bid to condemn goodluck, the fg and pdp we never see anything good in them really. Lets be objective for once, acn, pdp or apga. . . nigeria is our country for now and every development is welcomed from any angle.

I would say that it is possible to cross your legs ( covering your vagina ), use your palms to cover your face and your your elbows to cover your breasts. You can take the other option of turning your back at him or quickly lie on the floor face down to cover all asset.

^^

Final points for matches played on the weekends ( sat and sun ) will be added on Monday while final points for matches played between ( mon - fri ) will be added the following day. Final points for all matches will be added today as the last match for the game week has been played yesterday.

So the moving up and down in the league standings will be done today or latest tomorrow. Note in this case that final points refers to bonus points and other points apart from assists.

take barca and madrid to the EPL. barca will win the league with 94 points, madrid will be second with 91 points, man u will be third with 74 points, chelsea fourth with 73 points, city fifth with 70 points. this will be the league results season after season.

I don't even watch some of madrid matches these days . . just check the goals or live scores. Though i prefer watching madrid more than barca because atleast it is not one sided in play ( not talking about goals ).

I can't believe people still watch La Liga. The entire league is a fucking joke.

On Supersport Select, Inter Milan vs Juventus is going on. A much more competitive and exciting game with Juve leading 2-1. God forbid that I will watch La Liga, especially with Barca playing. God forbid bad thing.

Nonsense!
I don't know why i am laughing at this comment . . . grin grin grin . . . but there are some truths in it which i talked about in the la liga thread.

Business › Re: Lagos-ilorin Passenger Train Service Starts Friday October 28, 2011 by Pharoh: 9:38pm On Oct 27, 2011
This is a good development, for those looking for the duration of hours it takes to get from lagos to ilorin. This depend on the approved speed for these locomotives and the distance between both destinations.

I don't think this time-table makes business sense because of the one trip journey for a whole week that is not even properly planned. I believe it should leave every Friday around six to eight in the evening and get to the final destination by midnight. There should be stations also in large populated cities between both destinations to increase the train utilization.

I don't really know how they planned these routes but i think they should have two trains to serve a two way service. I have not heard about anything about bus connections for the various stations, it is either NRC operates its own bus service or they cooperate with private bus service companies to take people from stations to their final destinations.

But this is good and i hope they start with profitable and viable routes first before doing it anyhow due to the availability of subsidies.

Politics › Shocking - 100,000 Policemen Carry Handbags For Wives Of Moneybags/politicians by Pharoh(op): 6:08pm On Oct 21, 2011
IT has been revealed that out of the 330,000 police staff strength, over 100,000 are attached to individuals, to be carrying handbags for their wives. shocked shocked shocked

The chairman, Police Service Commission (PSC), DIG Parry Osayande (retd), who made the revelation on Tuesday while addressing the Senate Committee on Police Affairs, said that it was regrettable that only 230,000 policemen were left to police 150 million Nigerians. shocked shocked

According to him, “are these 150 million Nigerians supposed not to be protected, if only a few fortunate individuals are being protected by over 100,000 policemen?”

The chairman said that he had made it clear on several occasions that a special force be trained to serve as guards, because the use of policemen for that purpose had become a status symbol.

He said that the police required surgical operation for the nation to get what it deserved.

On his own part, the Deputy Senate Leader, Abdul Ningi, said that it was unacceptable that over 100,000 policemen were attached to a few individuals, leaving other Nigerians to their fate.

He admonished the commission to rise up to its responsibility of repositioning the force, as its function was constitutionally provided and must not be usurped by anybody.

Speaking further on the way forward for the Nigeria Police, Osayande noted that Nigerians had waited long enough to have a police force that would meet their aspirations, adding that even though government had commenced the reform of the police through the implementation of the government’s White Paper on the MD Yusufu Presidential Committee, not much of its impact had been seen.

On the factors militating against the force, the chairman named misuse, misapplication of available resources and lack of accountability through award of bogus contracts and outright diversion and misappropriation of the meagre resources.

Also, he attributed failure to plan and lack of vision as some of the problems confronting the force.

The chairman disclosed that corruption had assumed a great dimension and seemed to have been institutionalised, as some of the officers and men who engaged in the practice had been found to collude with and, sometimes, shield criminals, rather than prevent crimes.

Some policemen, according to him, had been found to facilitate the escape of criminals from lawful custody, obtain money from suspects for closure of case files or to derail the cause of justice, escort contraband, steal from suspects and accident victims and supply police weapons and uniforms to criminals.

Every story has two sides, so lets hear the other side of the story. Tina over to you.
How many stories do we get to here both sides before we start giving advice or is it because it is a woman involved in this case?.

@Topic.

Technically the relationship is over and if it should continue then there has to be a re-evaluation of the relationship and new set of financial rules. This will surely start first with her refunding 50 percent of the rent i have paid for the whole ten years. We will not even live together on discovering this incident or i will just stop paying rent and see if she will send me parking.

It is ridiculous hearing the comments from the ladies and some even going to the extent of trying to hear the other side of the story. Please read the posters write-up again, it is a scenario that was painted and you only need to give your advice and not waiting to hear the other side of the story.
Romance › Re: Asking Your Boyfriend For Money by Pharoh: 6:55am On Oct 18, 2011
kistehsia:
In all reality, unless you r sharing living expenses and are living together you should not be asking/expecting money from your BF, Perhaps a job or second job could help with that little extra money you need, or you have family and friends who could help out if you are in NEED of something you can't afford. Most family/friends are happy to help when a loved one is in need, I just think you should look to them before your BF, if your BF and yourself share living quarters and are that committed in the relationship then that would/will be a different case. Just my opinion, Takes a lot of stress out of the relationship if you both keep your finances out of the relationship till there is a true commitment.

kistehsia
I had to check your profile and it confirmed what was on my mind, you just described the culture obtainable in your own part of the world and it is very different over here. I really wish we will start thinking this way, a man is only obligated finance wise to his wife or family and not a girl friend.

posakosa:
No one should feel obligated to give anyone money especially if they are NOT married.

Hmm guess ronaldo needs to accept the fact that higuian and benzie are the strikers while he is a winger though he is not happy for not scoring sha.

I hope there is a stiff competition between benzema and papita so first 11 is guanranteed for anyone of them.
