Barca don't allow anyone else to play that's why watching them is boring. Footie is supposed to be a 2-sided affair. The only time I enjoy watching Barca match is when they play Madrid, Chelsea or JM's Inter cos those are the only teams who make the match a 2-sided affair. Watching Xavi make 800 passes a game makes me dizzy. They should give the opposition a chance to attack them and then Ill start watching Barca matches.

This is the whole summary of my position about barca, the high pressing is killing football, i have seen smaller teams destroy them when they allowed them to play their game.

Pep was a very big disappointment with those comments he made and i won't be surprised if he is punished for it at the end of the season. It does not matter if he is telling the truth or not but he should be mindful as a mere employer of the club and a no comment would have been better. He could have even said it is just a small misunderstanding and everything will be settled soon.

I think we have not clearly defined what a third party is but there are cases in which a third party's perspective might be of help to the partner who asked for the advice. Nairaland can be regarded as a third party and those marriage councilors on newspapers, offices and online medias.

The key word for me is that there are third parties who are too close to give an objective advice ( family, friends and colleagues ) or those who might not be flexible or open minded ( Men/Women who always want to take the sides of their own gender or feel things can only be done in a certain way).

The third party to me should have a very low familiarity with the partners having the issues, very matured, exposed and open minded with a very broad way of thinking or looking at issues.

A mothers love should always be remembered and appreciated as long as she is alive and forever, a father also loves his child in like manner and would do anything for them. The connection between between a mother and her child forms from the womb and can never be broken because it is an everlasting bond.

I just hope someday the wives we have today and tomorrow will understand the connection between a man and his mother. They who are mothers likewise are the main accuser of their husband being a pussy and still tied to their mothers apron's string.

This is very true but the sad thing is that, someone tool it to the press in other to achieve something because one partner is a celebrity. Marriage is not always smooth and i wonder why all marriage issues are not discussed in the press. A similar case is that of mercy Johnson that is a daily occurrence but hers was discussed like the world is going to end tomorrow because she is a celebrity.

I still believe they will settle it and make-up eventually, also the press and media needs to get their ass out of this matter quickly.

Yeah you are right and that was the reason we have been dropping points, the starting 11 already have a good understanding which was somehow broken with the tweaking. It is good that he is giving everyone a chance so that the absence of some certain players does not affect the teams ability or performance in any given situation.

Another problem we have is that alonso drops back too deep ( not saying it is bad ) but khedira does not make up for it. Khedira only knows how to tackle these days but does not want to get himself involved in the team buildup and play towards the opponents half.

It would have been perfect to have alonso as the only defensive midfielder if the forwards ( kaka, ozil and ronaldo could tackle opponents also effectively ). We have to make use of these two defensive midfield formation for the time being. The other should be able to control the midfield if alonso drops back and the likely candidates are granero, diarra, marcelo, contrao and khedira in that order. The issue is that mourinho always rates the defensive ability over other qualities since the other attacking forwards should be fine with the goal scoring and khedira fits this profile most i think.

It was clearly a rape and the law prescribes a life imprisonment for those found guilty and also women do rape guys in this same Nigeria. They should however be taken to a court so they can defend themselves before the appropriate judgment is applied in this case. What transpired before the sad events should also come to the open, we all need to learn lessons from this case especially the ladies.

With this reply, probably we are slightly on a different tangent or you have misunderstood me a little bit. First just raised my regard for you a notch up that you could still remember me and what you told me the other time.

Anyway on to your reply, been and out of that thing so i believe but probably we have a different definition or interpretation. I am not against those type of spending you just listed because it is definitely what i ~~can~~ do but it is two way street and a mutual action on both partners to me. Not exactly an eye for an eye, a 50-50 thing but the guy takes a significant percentage depending on the culture in place.

Now my gross is this whole issue of it is her birthright, my duty as the guy, not an option to make a choice else this whole thing is not going to work. I have been in an environment where a lady wants to make her hair, do her shopping, load some credit on her phone, she walks unto a counter and do it herself with her money. Now take one of my experience in which someone told me that those things are my duties and to the extent of saying you should be paying at least 10k into her account every month for her care? grin

That is what i am against, i know my duties and obligations to my family, wife and kids but a gf is definitely a different issue. Paying for movies, romantic dinner or showing some TLC is never out of place but someone should not take it as a duty from me and they should also do unto others what they want others to do for them. It is becoming a one way street in the Nigerian context, always want to receive without contributing or giving back to the relationship all because i am the . . . grin

Lol . . . just trying to be straight here and stop beating around the bush, because that is nothing but the truth though there are certainly exceptions to that rule.

On the issue of being stingy . . . i think i am actually not but life is full of lessons, experiences and exposure. I have had a fair share of mine and i believe it is best to spend your money wisely, for the right reasons and motives.

I believe you do also and certainly that should be a standard for every adult irrespective of their gender, culture or location.

The kind of ladies we have today and financial constraints on the side of the men should be the main culprits. Also some ladies want to pursue their career while forgetting the issue of finding a man early.
