Quick question please, can one book a one way flight to London going with the 4-tier visa? And would there be any disturbances either here in Lagos or in London at POE as per it’s not a return ticket? Thanks. |

Quick question, I plan on going to russia just to chill for like two weeks in moscow and come back my home, and the match ticket I have is for Nig vs Iceland in volgograd. My question is, will I be given stress at point of entry for only having hotel reservations in moscow and not having a hotel reservation in the city where the match of which I have a ticket will be played? Abi nothing concern them, once the match ticket and fan ID dey in order dem nor go disturb me, just want to know so as to adjust the plan. Thanks. |

I want to know if I can collect a fanID for a friend, since the courier has refused to bring the fanID, I have decided to go to abuja to get it myself so while collecting my own, I want to collect a friend's own also. I want to know if the letter of authority has to be notarized for them to accept it or would just having him sign surffice. Thanks. |

Hello house, I have an issue. I have got match tickets and applied for my fanID, I got a notification that it has arrived in Abuja and paid for courier services via vfs website to have the fanID delivered to my address in Lagos. Thing is that it has been about 6 working days since I ordered the courier service and I have not got the fanID. I would like to know how long it takes for the courier service to deliver fanID to Lagos from vfs Abuja and also if there is a way to track the whereabouts of the fanID. Thanks. |

KlausMike: I would want to advice that you apply first and after you have been given grant you apply for your family. But last week, a lady got a grant for herself and her husband. And in our case we took the route of applying for one person first and got a rejection. So no one really knows but I would still advice that the safest bet is to apply alone and when you are given the grant, apply for your family as dependants. |

DIBP HAS SPOKEN!!! So we got our letter from DIBP dated 12th December, on the 13th, It was a rejection. Reason stated was that "due to the economic and political unrest in Nigeria, they/he does not feel the applicant will be returning to her country after studies". I would have written sooner but have been busy consoling madam. Its now I actually feel the pain of others that have been rejected. I read the letter severally looking for another reason (that I felt might have been hidden in the letter) for the rejection. -Medical doctor going for masters in Public Health -International Medical degree -a spouse and two kids remaining in Nigeria -SOA of one year with closing balance of 332k AUD -Reference letter (proof of employment) from Military hospital -Proof of offer of employment on return to Nigeria -Applied since 6th of June and had to defer to February 2018 session And all this ENZO character see to talk na say Nigeria economy nor good so no visa grant and then political unrest, na me be Nnamdi Kanu?...lol. For all those still waiting, I pray for good fortune in the decisions of the CO dem in pretoria. It would seem like its more or less like a lottery now. On the brighter side, other plans can start taking effect since we have been released from our limbo state of visa expectation. Thanks house for the advice and everything. Lets not allow news of rejections dampen our spirit, just pray and believe. Everybody's path is different. Will consult the house if we decide on re-application or what not. Make we first breathe fresh air small. Merry Christmas folks. 4 Likes |

Cynate: Hi there, congrats of your visa and all, I wanted to know, did you and your husband apply for visa separately, the problem I am having is I do not know if I or my wife can apply for masters and have the other come as a dependant. And if not, does it now mean that she has to apply for a masters program as I am also applying and hope we both get granted visas @ICaSNg: Quick question: As a medical doctor, is it necessary she does a masters program in ireland? Are there other better immigration partways for medical practicioners and/or engineers? |

babahameedah: Bros, yes you can travel with your wife and she gets to have unlimited work time. But I will advice you find a way of leaving your children back in naija so you go and settle down first before bringing them over, moreover, please do not make the mistake of applying for a visa for you and your wife at the same time. Apply for your student visa (after getting admission that is) and as soon as your visa is granted (by God's grace) you can start processing your wife's and kids' visa as dependants. Most times when you apply with your spouse at the same time, if would seem like you guys are eloping and with the craze buy going around those case officers in pretoria...well. Hope this helps enlighten you. |

My people, you guys should relax, plus the one sounding like pessimist @slingshot and those that are firing back at him @ireayomide2015 and @cottyekundayo. First things first, it seems all of una don dey the OZ wey we dey talk so. So you can not be feeling what guys waiting now are feeling but at the same time its possible you were in our shoes before it all turned out joy. For those still waiting, please exercise patience, as someone said, if you want to do masters and come back home, then you can pull out and try germany (they even have free tuition) or finland. But if you have further plans like relocation after studies. Its not over till its over. Shebi we dey the same group with peeps like @kvickky and @balqs and many others and we dey use mouth collect visa around June/July but them don collect and dem don go and we still dey here and still holding on. Waiting for a decision from pretoria fit turn person to mad man yes but you go back out without knowing if they would have given you visa or not. GET YOUR DOCUMENTS COMPLETE, CORRECT AND GENUINE, THEN WAIT. MAKE DEM TELL YOU WITH THEM MOUTH SAY "YOU CANNOT COME TO OUR COUNTRY" BEFORE KILLING YOURSELF WITH CONJECTURES AND GUESSING AND ALL THAT. #MYMIND 4 Likes |

Cottyekundayo: Thanks bruv, thing is, I was told you can only get exemption if you were above 30 years at graduation, of which at graduation, age was below 30 years, so exemption letter via normal channels is out of it. The only other "legit" alternative is to inform DIBP that I am yet to serve due to the fact that I had to do my one year housemanship and have been waiting for their reply and so have not gone for the NYSC program. Finished housemanship in feruary, visa application July and turned 30 in august. From popular advice, an illegit exemption letter is out of the question. In your opinion, does my above highlighted explanation of timeline reference to why I havent been able to make the nysc program hold water logically (or illogically, lol) { na "almost" frustration laugh I dey laugh oh} |
Travel / Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by phemmy28(m): 7:21pm On Oct 19, 2017 |
bestdiddy: The problem with exemption letter is that they say one must have been 30 years at graduation which is a criteria that we dont meet. And then the school is supposed to help request it but Vladamir Putin has bombed the school and surrounding communities. |

DIBP don come with them wahala oh!!! So we were contacted last week thursday for additional information, - Updated Confirmation of enrolment Coe - Bachelor certificate from University in Ukraine. I noted you provided diploma certificate. - Proof of registration as Medical doctor with Nigerian medicals council - Proof of financial support , 3 month Bank statement Which we provided, although the certificate they already had is a Doctor of Medicine diploma, not the conventional diploma {terminology}. Now they contacted us today again asking for other supporting documents, - Clear scanned copy of the original WAEC certificate - Clear scanned copy of the original National Youth Service certificate - Employment reference from the Military Hospital in Ikoyi, Lagos, including details of when you completed a housemanship at the Military Hospital. Thing is we have not served yet nor have we registered online or anything. Options, should one go and get them a "nigerian" exemption letter or just inform them that we havent served due to the fact that we want to pursue further education before coming back to serve. Advice needed!!! ( I nor know wetin concern DIBP with nysc cert unto going to school for dem country oh) 3 Likes |
