BornofGod108: God commanded the children of Israel to remove those things in Exodus 33 vs 5-6
To understand the context, let's take a look at the pre verse.
Verse 4 When the people heard these distressing words, they began to mourn and no one put on any ornaments. 5 For the Lord had said to Moses, “Tell the Israelites, ‘You are a stiff-necked people. If I were to go with you even for a moment, I might destroy you. Now take off your ornaments and I will decide what to do with you.’” 6 So the Israelites stripped off their ornaments at Mount Horeb.
They removed the ornaments to show that they are remorse before God. Same way they fast and cover themselves in sack clothes when seeking the face of God.
Not every woman will marry Not every married woman will have a child Infact some will go through premature abortion while some will put to bed only to lose the child immediately or later in life.
She should embrace life and any of above thrown at her
ashewoboy: Just anything that you think is hidden that people don't know, that people ought to know. Just keep sharing. As you remember them, keep sharing. Don't stop sharing.
Thank you.
No unending relationship in life. Mr death uphold the facts
blessingnenye: They will tell you to visit him with some clothes and undies, and then pin him down by remaining in his house as that is how most marriage started. But nobody will also remind you that some single mum emerged like that too.
cohabiting with a man to claim him all to yourself only works, if he has interest in you, any other thing aside this will result in premium tears. Nobody can be pinned down except they chose to.
Before you go for what worked for others, ask to know the reasons why it worked for them, don't just rush into other people's decision without weighing the prons and cons.
dboY1123: My previous post about a big school that called me for an Interview, Well I actually went there, did my test and when I was asked to come in for Micro Teaching where I was faced with Staff of the school and maybe the principal, I flopped and panicked heavily.
The fear was well written all over my face and I was just saying rubbish despite choosing to teach "Matter" as my topic. Immediately I came in and they asked for my name and few other questions before the micro teaching, my voice was already shaking as if I have never taught before in my life(they noticed and told me to calm down).
Although I am an introvert, I hardly face audience talk more of strangers and the quest to ensure that I performed, those things enveloped/swallowed me completely. I have never taught in such a big school before, I think my qualification was what made them approach me in the first place.
One of the staff kept throwing questions at me, I mean confusing questions just to know my depth of knowledge in the particular topic, and guess what? I flopped totally and became disorganized. But luckily, there was a man among the panel who gave me the option of coming back and prove myself that I am a qualified teacher as stated in my CV or I should take another topic I'm more comfortable with. So, I opted to leave and come back so I can regain my confidence.
Now, I have been given enough time to go and make research and convince them on Monday. How do I conquer that fear and what are the things they look so I can prepare hard. Thank you.
Always pick easy n comfortable topics
See them as students and not supervisor when addressing them.
Practice at home using your siblings as your students. When teaching or addressing a crowd, you only need to focus on 1-2 persons initially to gather confidence and momentum
Arrange your delivery pattern, let it be sequential. It helps in organisation of your thought process, understanding and confidence built.
E.g Topic: Living Things Definition Classification of living things etc
You should be fine except you lied in your cv as a qualified teacher
Beverlyjean: What she did on 3rd mainland simply shows she is very manipulative...she did that on purpose to buy sympathy...she is a bonified narcissist and a hoe as well...
seconded. If she truly want to commit suicide, poison intake quietly in her room would have been a better approach
HorlaMystic: Believe the military junta at your own peril. Do you know since when the Sudanese junta has been promising a new civilian-led transitional government
Maradona did more than this, he eventually stepped aside after "IBB must go" riots in every part of the Country
DeOTR: Mumu. We celebrated our Oro festival just last weekend in my hometown and I'm from Ekiti local government of Kwara state. Whatever the Emir of Ilorin is banning does not have any effect outside the four corners of Ilorin.
You shouldn't have Emir in the first place. You ve lost your identity
raskymonojendor: What percentage of Kwara state is Ilorin. Oga, you must have skipped geography in high school.
Ignorance
Kwara state has been inhabited for years by various ethnic groups, primarily the majority Yoruba people that live throughout the state, but there are sizeable minorities of Nupe people in the northeast, Bariba (Baatonu) and Busa (Bokobaru) peoples in the west, and a small Fulani population in Ilorin, moving through the state as nomadic herders.[13]
In the pre-colonial period, majority of the area that is now Kwara state was part of the Oyo Empire, with part of the western portions in the Borgu Kingdoms peopled by the Bariba, Boko and Bissa people, and Nupe Kingdom (1531-1835).
Ibibioman: I've been working in an Asian company since 2017, then my salary was 70k, but it fluctuates up and down currently I've been at 100k for the past 3 years or so.
Recently I was transferred to a village with no electricity and the salary remains the same.
I'm an engineering graduate from one of the top federal Universities in the south west.
Nevertheless, I've come to a stage where I'm considering business, given my set-aside capital of about 1million naira, and because of the Sunday to Sunday work schedule, I am considering quitting, inorder to start either a barbing shop, POS, or bike business .
Do you think it is a good idea?
A welcome idea, why not start gradually before you eventually pull out of the current job
MAVICK2000: Pls, i need advise(s) on memory capacity and reading hours, i am quiet brillant but i find it hard to read an recall what i read even if i do intensive reading, i still forget most of what i read it like my brain doesn't store, and even after rercusion it still same. Pls s there a way to solve my problem because my exams is drawing near and i have few weeks left
What works for you might be different. Try reading in bits, summerize the key paragraphs, definitions and points in a jotter. Make sure you are reading as you are writing them down.
Now, focus on the summerized jotted note and read it at least thrice every day for 7days. That means you would have gone over the course at least 21 times.
Use reading styles like reading to yourself, reading out, asking yourself likely questions, walking reading etc.
Finally, practice past questions and eat very well.
Now, you are ready for the exam. With this method, if you followed it judiciously, you won't get less than 60%
That's what works for me anyway in my Msc days and I got Distinction
yinkus6750: Way to go. We must develop by force. We have several alternatives to power . Solar( good African weather), gas , improve our electricity generation capacity. With the right leadership, things will definitely turn around Corruption and bad leaders got us to this point.
Do you manufacture the panel? That's where we should start from
yinkus6750: Must you do follow follow ? Where is the LIGHT ( CHANGE), if you can't review a bad precedence you met ? You can scrap positions, merge or create meaningful ones.
Government is continuous. Everything about the previous government can't be bad

At this point, I have no other option than to put this out here, and I pray I get a solution from here.
A friend ordered and paid for a phone and the vendor blocked her instead of delivering the phone.
I saw a post on Twitter where @Xiaomi_nigeria announced a reduction in the prices of Redmi 12C all through August.
A friend has been saving to get a phone, so I forwarded the post to her to see if she would be interested. She got interested and I asked around for vendors online as we currently serve (we are corp members) in a remote village far away from any city where it is possible to get the phone in a store.
Oya sope otilo! When the price reduction is too good to be true...its a red flag
Racoon: Learnt about the high prevalence of twinning here when a friend was @ Baptist facility in the Igbora town some years ago. What a fortunate feat for them. Great bless Mary Scellesor for her persistence towards the eradication of killing twins in Nigeria.
Not in South West. Yorubas adore twins, infact they are referred to as dieties(ORISA)
