lilfreezy: Well I don't think the name of the school matters at this point. He needs help making a decision regarding the visa category to choose. That should be the focus. He should at least say the name of the school for future readers and those who might be in need of this opportunity. To the Op you would still need a blocked account (BA) or a sponsorship letter (SL) for your Visa interview. |

anthonanik: Great Gurus in the house I want to use to podium to ask if I can still make it to dutch-land this year. I applied for winter admission(Cottbus, BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg and Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin) and Uni assist have processed my application although is still showing incomplete application because my certified documents are yet to get to them( Fedex) company and delay are like mad...and my transcript never enter Lagos from East..i'm just confused guys..can I deffer my admission when it comes out(just been optimistic)...Fedex are killing me oooo and I went to their office and I was asked to provide airfare code for them to be able to track my transcript which I was told has been sent since last week..
Whats the duration for students visa? Can I deffer my admission? How long does creating and funding block account takes? If your documents get to uni assist before application deadline, you are safe. Hopefully Fedex would send it this week Then for visa interview, you are not late , you are still very early. Book for a date now tho, hopefully you’d get one in July or August beginning, by then your AL would have arrived. Opening of blocked account takes less than 2 days with fintiba provided you do it well (experts in the house would be ready to help when that time comes). You are not too late for DE this year, just try and get your applications in check .Bless! |

jcgodfrey: Is anyone traveling to Germany from ABUJA who can help me take docs to deliver to a friend who’ll post for me?
My deadlines are May 31 submissions- about 3 or 4 schools and they’re direct applications that will require physical delivery of docs and due to the timeline, not sure I can trust delivery services. Dhl be expensive though and perhaps, let me ask, anyone know if EMS opens on weekends and how long it would take then to deliver to Germany? Thanks fellas. Use Fedex on Monday it would get there on Thursday, price is 17800. There’s a Fedex opposite Nicon Luxury hotel, on the road from area3 to CBN Hq central area |

glopatra: They usually request for 100level transcript because it is equivalent to their A level. And chemistry and Engi eeri g in Nigerian universities do exactly the same thing, so you are good to go. Maybe you should send them an explanatory mail first. No they don’t, he can’t use 100 lvl chemistry to apply to all engineering courses. There are courses like engineering mathematics, Engineering drawing, vector analysis, engineers in our society, high level physics which I’m pretty sure he didn’t do, so he has to be specific about the type of engineering he’s going for. Best bet is to do Studienkolleg |

UrekMazino: I need help guys... My school leaving certificate doesn't qualify me to study directly in Germany. Though I have a 100 level transcript, it's not of engineering. I don't want to study the same chemistry I ran from just to enter Germany and do the same course again! They said I should apply for preparatory course but I need geman language b1 at least which I don't have. I need advice please guy... How do I solve this? You should be able to see some schools that accept your 1st year chemistry background for engineering. Maybe you should try applying to chemical engineering Bsc courses, then later switch to something else when you enter DE Another option is to learn German in Nigeria to B1 level and apply directly to Studienkolleg. Takes an average person 2 months to be up to par in a level |

hardeyswaggz: So there is this school called Munster University of applied science whose mode of application for chemical engineering is via posting as they have said their online application is not active for now. Deadline for the course is 31st May. I have gotten all my documents ready to post via DHL but something told me to send them a mail for my eligibility status. Posting fee is not beans abeg. Attached here was what i got. What do i do? It's not looking promising and i am not ready to waste any money It’s a personal choice bro, no one can make this decision but you. I’d advise you search for other schools that are less competitive because if you use all your money to send this documents by post and you get rejected, it can lead to depression. And them telling you that you might not get it cause of competition is kinda like a warning sign. |

olamitodotun14: I'm currently in a fix right now. Just applied for appointment at the embassy but did booking with my expired passport and I'm yet to receive my renewed passport which should be around next week. Now I was just informed that my passport number will likely change( I wasn't aware about this) as against the one I used in booking appointment. What do you guys think I should do? The passport expired 2017. Should I cancel the appointment or mail them and explain. It depends on when it expired If it’s a really long time then cancel If it’s like a week or so then you don’t need to cancel Take the old and new passport and show the VO. They see cases like this often and they would tell you it’s not an issue When submitting passport and insurance, you would send only your new passport |

Goztino: One more question before I dey alright. Can someone, abandon his admitted course and use that 3years of MSc to perfect in IT field, programming and language skills? I mean is it acceptable?
I know why I am asking all these questions. I wanna know all the available options for permanent residency apart from marrying a German You can’t abandon a course you enrolled with in the foreigners office in any country. They get constant feedback from your school on how you perform and your attendance, those people even see your account balance. Very low credit scores and absenteeism leads to revoking of visa and back to Naija. This is in general tho, not just Germany |

AgentONE: For those who applied to HSHL and got that message regarding the rejection of your letter of proficiency...English Proficiency is accepted but on a particular condition. I used English proficiency letter and mine scaled through. I can't upload a copy of my doc on a general platform as NL but this is the help i can give, your english proficiency letter should carry a note stating your level of English proficiency according to the European Common framework of reference. It must strictly adhere to this, based on this note from their website:
If a corresponding note is made on the school leaving certificate or school leaving certificate indicating the degree of English proficiency acquired in accordance with GER (minimum B2), one of the aforementioned certificates will not be submitted.
I'll like to form a group for HSHL hopefuls, for those interested buzz me...zero eight one six(three times) eight six four one zero pls whatsapp alone I'll take down my contact by the end of today for privacy concern .
All the best! From what I can deduce if you went to a polytechnic and I think maybe state university they are rejecting the EPL But If it’s a federal university or a recognized private university they are accepting it |

ladyb4sure: Reply from Hamm-Lipdtadts
Dear Ms ,
Thank you for sending us your documents.
During the first examination of your documents, we noticed that the following documents are still missing:
- English language proficiency:
The prerequisite for admission is proof of sufficient knowledge of the English language at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages by means of an appropriate certificate. The proof must be provided by one of the following successfully passed equivalent tests: - IELTS: minimum 6.0 - TOEFL (internet based test): at least 80 - TOEFL (paper based test): at least 550 - TOEFL (computer based test): at least 213
If a corresponding note is made on the school leaving certificate or school leaving certificate indicating the degree of English proficiency acquired in accordance with GER (minimum B2), one of the aforementioned certificates will not be submitted.
If you have already studied and/or completed an academic university program please also add a transcript and/or diploma as these might be essential for fulfilling the German university entrance qualification. Beside this do only send reference letters or practical training certificates if these are necessary in terms of the university entrance qualification.
The information that you may have studied in English or that the country where you live has English as your national language is not sufficient.
Please submit the above documents by July, 15th 2019 at the latest.
Documents submitted after this date will not be considered.
Question
Does it mean they don't accept English letter of proficiency because I added mine?
I have toefl but the score is poor not up to cut off. I scored 73
What to do people? Maybe you forgot to add your EPL, Cause I sent them EPL as well, and I haven’t gotten this message |
