Ekessy:Tranfermate can't work in Nigeria, only works for credit cards and Unfortunately all we have are debit cards in Nigeria. |
MrAAA2:Thanks for sharing the news, right now you can actually open a student bank account in Sparkasse without doing city registration although you would have to provide the Tax ID and co within 6 months. All you need is a housing contract and your visa, then you are good to go at any Sparkasse branch. For those who don't get early appointments in their cities, this can be helpful. |
RemiAbdulSamad:Good day Abdulsamad how did you create your portfolio? It looks amazing, thank you. |
keleto:You can send the full degree, it wont affect anything. Some schools reject just 100 lvl as not enough credit points. They don't care if you have third class they only want to know if you have enough credit points to start a new bachelors. At least if you don't want to sent the whole thing, send the first 2 levels. |

Thewizardof0zil:Sorry mate, Hope you find help in this. How To Appeal for a Student visa rejection. 1. Translate your rejection letter and know exactly why you were rejected, The most common rejection is " Doubt Travel purposes“ and that’s usually as a result of a bad remark from your VO, could also be caused by having inconsistent documents. 2. Draft points that tackle the reason you were rejected. Do not fill up your appeal with why you love Germany and why you love this course and what It would do for you in future.. that’s a waste it’s all in your motivation letter. Your Appeal letter should be simple but noteworthy. if you have doubts of Travel intentions, you Talk about the course and the admission, plans you are making in preparation for this course.., EG, preliminary courses/books you are to read and have read also add how it would define your career as so so , the admission selection process (if it is restricted you can add that to your benefit).. this is better when fitted into one or two paragraphs . Don’t waste your appeal by repeating your motivation letter and adding more things. 3. Write down an organized appeal, (Typed for better clarity). Subject should be Letter of Appeal on Visa Application, your address top right, embassy’s would be at the left hand side. First paragraph should be the introduction consisting of your Details type of visa/ visa ref/Passport number/DOB/AD/Rej date.. Second paragraph should highlight why you were rejected 3rd paragraph should be for the points you’ve drafted to appeal against the rejection decision Then the next paragraph can be followed with furthermore you are in the process of getting accommodation/applied through studentwerk and also getting a travel health insurance, then you state the attached files added to the appeal eg i have attached my SL/BA ,an email for my course advisor , your language School confirmation/admission etc, depends on the files you are attaching .... and then end with ”thank you as I await a Favouable response from you”, it doesn’t have to be the same words, hope you get the picture. Yours sincerely then your name under 4. Print your appeal and sign with the date (around the yours sincerely part). Scan the appeal and Save the PDF. Gather all supporting documents, I’d advise you to appeal with proof of funds, and email from your course advisor acknowledging you are a prospective student of the institution, New enrollment deadline, email from the university explaining the type of admission and what it entails (if it’s a conditional admission), rental contract from studentwerk in your university . Emails from the university welcoming you to their unnecessary programs, etc.. all these things matter, they are all supporting documents, it proves that you are a student and you want to go study. 5. Combine your Appeal and all the supporting documents as a single PDF. Let your appeal be at the top. (This would make the job less hectic for the person viewing your appeal) Send it to the German embassies email: info@lago.diplo.de (They See every Mail that gets in here no doubt) Email subject can be as simple as " Letter of Appeal" You can also send it by post to the embassy with supporting documents all printed out if you have the money and time.. IMO the Email is more effective, before they start working on physical document especially appeals , it might take weeks. Cause they sort incoming parcels, and the top priority are people sending their packages for Visum the rest are kept aside in most cases , some might be lucky 6. Do not send your original documents back to them, this is a no no!... anything document you submitted at the embassy during your interview, do not send it back with your appeal even as supporting documents, only exemption can be your proof of funding. You are actually disobeying their rules if you send back original documents and it could lead to further rejection. They have photocopies of every original they sent back to you and that is what they work with and send to the alien office, before sending back your original documents, they verified all photocopies were same as originals and that is what they need for processing. 7. You have done your part, now pray and leave the rest to God. After a week you can send a reminder mail if you haven’t gotten feedback, the reminder mail should quote your appeal, just incase. If you do not get feedback email from them, do not panic .. I have seen situations where persons got no feedback email and their appeal was processed, Now they’ve got AM/Visum I do not work in embassy, neither am I an agent, so I won’t entertain questions relating to such. This is all i can say from my day to day experiences and hope it meets anyone who is in need as well. Danke zusammen ![]() |
evergreen9:Calm brother. You all should stop panicking... dates will come, it’s obvious everything date is on a stand still cause they are working on it. There are still many days in November and December that can be issued as AD’s.., so be calm. |
Bigboy75:Late submission of BA which led to a rejection. Another friend of mine was also within 3 weeks , that was doubt travel intentions. Anything is possible in this Waka guys |
Yves18:As of now , it is not compulsory for the embassy to send an acknowledgment receipt of your remonstration. A friends appeal got turned over successfully without an acknowledgment. took about 3 weeks |
chuksinfotech:Since you have enrolled you are very much okay to go anytime as you are a recognized student of that particular Institution. The reason why the embassy doesn’t issue out visa‘s/attend to interviews when the enrollment deadline has passed or it is obvious you won’t meet up with the deadline is because you’d basically have no legal rights to enter Germany and your registration into their system would be hindered. EG no enrollment means no enrollment certificate and without that you can’t extend your residence permit, making you depend on the 3/6 months visa issued from Nigeria. (When it expires most people usually stay back illegally or some might be lucky to get another valid admission and enroll before it expires) Book for an interview date with your respective category. If you Fall In A you can still use a late December deadline, but if it’s B I’d advise you go as far as February to avoid stories that touches lol. Do your Interview and present your enrollment certificate, you’d never be turned down... highest is that you won’t write exams for this semester since you’ve missed most of the classes. Good luck and Cheers mate! |

Magma012:If it is a master course, yes ive heard it is possible. Another route is apply to a German taught course that gives you a conditional admission making you learn the language first. In bigger cities the cost of language schools are quite high. In smaller ones they are fair enough but sill expensive from a Nigerian POV. EG im going for one that where I’d Learn A1 - C1 2 months per level. Registration fee is 80€ and the price per level is about 450€ (They have a promo now so current price is 390€) Whereas place like Berlin I’ve heard that the price per level is about 1500€ + etc. It’s better to do the language course in a smaller city, that way you save costs. The only advantage of doing it in Nigeria is to save cost but i doubt undergoing a language school in in nija would enable you to learn in German easily. ( you’d only learn it to be able to pass at goethe, learning is not just in the classroom, it’s in your surroundings and your day to day activities, there is nothing like being in a place that makes you speak German 24/7. ) So if you want to know the language like a native I’d advise you do it in Germany If you have the Money . If you don’t you can Do A1 and A2 in Nigeria then manage and do the rest in Germany it’s to your own benefit. |
Fabricio07:Amen bro. Wish you the same. Were you the guy on dreads? |
walexy06:Hahahaha, That promise is sealed ![]() |
walexy06:Arge bobo ![]() |
Fabricio07:Congratulations. That’s quite odd, cause I was there today(Blue native), first person to be interviewed, and the woman on dreads wasn’t on seat. Met a guy who says he’s new to NL but he’s been following , welcome to the thread ‘Udochi’ , and I’m pretty sure when is was done someone was being interviewed by a man who spoke with a Yoruba intonation. Anyways wish you the best. ![]() |
HighPriest0:Congratulations brother man. What is meant to be will be. Amen. We go link for DE |
Thank you all for the good wishes ![]() |

My Walter Carrington Experience 19.09.2019 ——— Phil. Today was officially my first time at Walter carrington! Been there once before but on unofficial duties to see how the place looked lol. Woke up around 3:30, prayed and got ready. It rained heavily today , thank God I was using an Uber cause the rain started just after I left the house. Got to the embassy around 5:30, the Rain was still heavy at that time, my Uber parked in front of the security checking point as I wanted to end the trip and run inside, I was told I could not wait there, I was like fam it’s raining the security guy still told me to find somewhere to stay ( same guy was like “anything for the boys” when I was leaving. “I blatantly told him I have nothing” lol. I found my way though, anyways fast forward to a few minutes later.Went back around 6:20 and I was allowed to enter, Paulinus hasn’t been on seat for days. Someone else is handing the arrangement of documents and ushering people inside, you’d be fine with this guy he’s patient, just listen to what he says and follow instructions. Was the first to arrive and the first person to be interviewed, i was Interviewed by a fair lady in room 3 she had locked hairs not dreads. The green light popped up and I was directed into her cubicle. VO: Good Morning Phil: Good Morning and I smiled VO: What visa Application are you here for? Phil: Student Visa Interview VO: Masters or Bachelors Phil: Bachelors VO: Okay let me have your documents, Originals first Phil: I handed them to her, also handed her all my International passports (3) VO: which one is the most current one? I don’t need the rest. Sign this paper you can sign anywhere. Phil: I collected passports back and signed the paper, it was written in German so I couldn’t read what it meant. She kept typing my personal information into the system, asked me for my Email and number and made sure I confirmed all the details on one form she printed out. She saw my admission to a language school after my admission letter and then asked me the following VO: What’s the language of instruction for this course? Phil: German. VO: How Long would you do the language course before beginning your study program? Phil: 10 months VO: Wow! What levels? Phil: A1 - C1 each level lasts two months VO: Okay Good. Do you have any German proficiency? Phil: No I don’t While I was saying No she interrupted and said “Not yet shey” like she was whining me. Cause I’d soon have all the proficiency needed. I smiled and said yes haha. VO: Pick up the Phone Phil: I Did VO: Why another bachelors..... oh wait what was your previous Cgpa? Phil: 2:81 VO: i guess that’s why. What was your previous degree and what school? Phil: Electrical Electronics Engineering from Covenant University VO: What course are you going for and why this course? Phil: Electrical Engineering and Information Communication Technology. Technology is rapidly developing each day and with that the role of an Electrical engineer becomes ever more important as we help improve communications and enhance our electrical systems. VO: looks at my SL and says what is your relationship with your sponsor. Phil: I replied her ... she also asked some other person questions like where he works and profession . VO: why Germany? Phil: International prestige, globally renowned degree with and international advantage, Good practical and theoretical training due to the relationship the German universities have with the National Engineering Companies. VO: Why not Nigeria Phil: Electrical Engineering and ICT are two interdisciplinary course which is not taught as a single study program in Nigeria. Irregular academic calendar and low technology infrastructure. VO: Why not other countries? Phil: High tuition fees, High cost of living and I’ve always wanted to study in Germany cause my Dad studied and worked there before he came back to Nigeria which he’s always told me about VO: oh wow that’s okay, have you ever applied for any other country? Phil: Yes UK for tourismmm.... she cut me short she no allow me finish but she did not type it VO: Plans after studies? Phil: I would like to take up a masters degree in communications engineering, it’s is a specialization of electrical engineering...... she was like okay Communications Engineering masters ( That’s What she typed into the system, just key points) VO: Facts about Germany Phil: As I Dey talk am she was talking to someone else, I was just catching the cruise lol.. only said like 5-7. But then when I said Germany is a country with the highest employment rate in the EU and the lowest youth unemployment rate, she stopped to look at me and said that is not a fact. I was like oh shit so she’s been listening lol. I had more facts but she said that’s okay. VO: Interview is done, have any question you’d like to ask concerning your application? Phil: Nothing really. It’s been a pleasure with a smile VO: that would be all, make sure you check your Email from time to time Phil: Alright id sure do that, have a nice day VO: you too with a smile The whole interview was not more than 10 mins, and I noticed she only wanted me to say my points, she wasn’t about Long talk. Half of the questions you get asked are not really needed, important questions are Why this course, How you are related to your sponsor for those using SL and Plans after your studies . Focus on having solid points for these. I thank God for everything and all the wonderful people I’ve encountered in this Journey. If I start mentioning names this post go long, but I really appreciate you all. Shoutout to my Duisburg-Essen Group you guys are the best. Wish everyone success in their endeavors. Ich komme zu Deutschland !!! |
Gspeed:Congratulations brother |
Olami112:What school? What course? And what degree and type of Admission? |
Pr0cter:Check the official school website for requirements and mode of application. This is information you can get under 5 mins |
dennison4luv:Quoting a post by Immafrank This should help you. Most people still don’t know how this letter works. Apart from the embassy and your intended alien office doing their verification, you must also make sure the important details on your SL are okay. If you are here and you are using SL. Before you have your original SL sent to you, make sure you request for a scanned copy and cross check your details that it is correct, check that the purpose of stay is fur studium. nachgewiesen must be ticked. nachgewiesen means the sponsor has successfully demonstrated and that he/she has met all requirements to stand as your sponsor. In some cities like Stuttgart, Rastatt, they tick both nachgewiesen and glaubhaft gemacht while in some cities like München, they only tick nachgewiesen. nachgewiesen is very important. I once saw SL where nicht nachgewiesen was ticked. It was straight rejection. So contact your sponsor and let the office the letter came out from make the correction. |
dennison4luv:Hopefully everything would work out well on Monday. |
dennison4luv:This SL get comma sef “nachgewiesen” isn't Ticked. That could lead to a straight rejection of the SL |
dennison4luv:Well from what I can depict, it’s either he is lying or your sponsor obviously has tax bills he hasn’t cleared and that won’t allow him get an SL for you. So he wants you to pay for his tax thereby he would be able to get you the SL. It could also be that he doesn’t know much about it and the Ausländer Behörde instructed him to go pay his tax bills if he wants to collect the SL and he thinks it’s part of the procedure. Situations like this, talk to your sponsor and find out what is actually happening. If he’s getting you the SL for free and you have the money then you can consider paying his tax of the said amount (After-all na still to your benefit) cause he could actually tell you he’s not qualified and he’s not ready to pay tax, na so your SL go commot. If you are not down with, find another sponsor and move on..... cheers |
Barth88:Cancel today. Don’t wait for tomorrow it could get late. That’s my AD though. Goodluck with your endeavors... cheers |
