Good evening great NL. It all started in January, 2019 when I applied for my intended program in Deutschland.
I received my AM today.
Did interview on 6th May, 2019.
Funded before interview.
Going for Msc Biomedical Science at University of Applied Sciences Bonn-Rhein-Sieg.
I want to appreciate everyone that have contributed to the success of my German struggle. You guys are the best as I have always read every info on this thread from day one. God grant us all our heart desires and success to all waiting for AL, AD, AM and VISUM.

Not directly, you can only tick I live around Abuja and it’s axis and pray they give you an appointment in Abuja. Chances are slim tho

please when booking for appointment and one mistakenly fill first name in place of last name how can the mistake be corrected

Cancel and book again correctly. This is if you haven’t gotten date tho, if you have a date you probably should mail them and confirm if it poses a threat to your application ( Dates are scarce now)

I sent document to uni-assist via EMS, after 7 days, the tracking number is still showing error when tracked. Does it take that long for tracking info to show up online?

the tracking information was created and became active from the very moment you paid for that document to be shipped. I’d advise you take your receipt and go complain to EMS

Pls house, if I use SL to get my vista will I be given student working permit immediately or I will have to wait for few months first

Working permit is dependent on many factors, not just SL.
When you get your Visum (3 or 6months visa), you can travel to DE. When you get to DE you need to enroll in your school to get your enrollment certificate, you need to rent an apartment to get a rental contract. And then you go to your Ausländer Behörde (which you could get an appointment with them months after your arrive for bigger cities) and do your city registration. It is then you get work permit without any of these 3 documents 1 enrollment certificate 2 rental agreement and 3 proof of sustenance, you cannot be issued work permit and getting the first 2 cannot be assured immediately. No Work permit doesn’t mean you cannot do odd jobs like cleaning and arranging (9€/hr on average)when you get there it just means you cannot do the real jobs like research assistant, HIWI etc... (15-20€/hr averagely).
In a nutshell SL alone cannot guarantee you work permit, you need to complete the other 2 points and then book a date with your foreign office before you can be issued work permit, and accommodation is a major problem when dealing with work permit.

If you are going for masters and bachelors you can book category A

Good day guys, just joining this thread today. I started processing my admission but I have a situation right now. Sorry if it's long but pls bear with me.

Firstly someone used uni assist to process admission for me while I was serving last year, it didn't work out cos the guy applied for scholarship so my mum said I should do it on my own. I tried to use uni assist but because the guy used his own email address I couldn't create an new account with my info.
Would have spoken to that guy to give me the password but my mum said I shouldn't do any business with that guy again.

So I went on to use DAAD and applied directly to two schools. I finished NYSC in March and applied in april

The first one sent me my application form after I applied while the second one didn't, I saw somewhere that we should certify so I went to the German embassy and certified for the first school that gave me admission. Kiel university.

Now I got a letter of decline from Kiel University, I'm heartbroken now. Cos I'm waiting for the second university, Bonn university as my last hope of admission this year.

I haven't even certified for Bonn cos I don't have the application letter and I don't know how the cost and process for high Court certification is.

Also what do I do with certification if I didn't apply with uniassist?

Go with category A , the embassy isn't really keen on category right now, as far as you have an appointment and an admission letter and you have done a Bsc previously with an Average gpa above a 2:2 you are good to go

Nobody is answering my question. Please please please my situation right now is that I would love to pay for my fintiba before going for my interview and the school resume by September 30th. But I can only get all the money by August ending. Don’t know when to apply for visa so my interview date will around August. This is why i’m Asking like how many months or weeks does it take from when you apply for visa to the interview date? Any idea or a rough calculation

you can apply now under category A and put September 1st as start of study, hopefully you would get a date in August. There is no exact time frame for when you’d be given date after applying. If you apply now you can get your AD same day or Maximum of a week after

You can both send to someone in Germany who would then send to the individual locations, that’s if you have someone there

1. I got a letter of eligibility from Koln, but yet to get admission letter itself due to uniassist's delay.. The question is, can I go on with the eligibility letter to open my block account?

2. I will like to know more about admission result in Duisburg-Essen, has anyone gotten admission letter for 2019 Winter? As I am expectant of my own letter of admission from them! I will looking forward to receiving helpful guidelines from you guys. Thanks!

Guys I need some advise. So I just received my admission for my preferred course, with enrollment deadline of 14th oct. my visa appointment is on September 2. Considering the visa processing time, do you advise I cancel my appointment and book using a closer start of study date?( I put oct 1 as my start of study date for initial visa application)

If you cancel there is a high probability you might get a later date. I’d advise you to go for the interview and pray your AM could take the usual time 4 weeks which is October 2nd, that still gives you ample time to come before the deadline. People have succeeded in far worse cases.

If you really want to go for a nursing degree In germany I’d advise you learn german here in Nigeria till atleat B1 level. I don’t think you would see any school that teaches nursing in English language over there

Thank you for dis info but unfortunately none I can apply to. It is either there application deadline is closed, charging of tuition fees and they not offering social science courses. It seems I may have to wait till next year fall session. My expectations dis year is cut short already.

Not necessarily, by social sciences what type of course are you going for? Probably be specific you’d see people that can help. If you try hard you can still make it this winter, that’s if you really want to. Summer is not bad as well

Someone booked under category B on 7th May, then after this category argument and calls, he canceled his appointment in category B and booked a fresh one under category A.
Then on getting to this place and seeing Basalt posts, he cancelled the category A booking and went back and booked under category B now he sent me private message asking me that he is contemplating booking canceling again and booking category A .

I paid 50 euros but an uncle over there eventually paid for me .


I went to Gtbank here and one guy wey dey work dere told me the charges high that if I'd be paying 50 euros dem go charge me almost that to send the same 50 euros. So I withdrew and contacted Honourableseyi wey dey Germany , he was ready to make the payments for me but something came up and on the long run an uncle in Germany paid for me.


I never see admission letter though. Eagerly expecting
