BEST FORMATION TO EXPLORE OUR ATTACKING OPTIONS

Our strenght lies in attack.
I think we can play with 3 strikers at the same time.
Osimhen and Awoniyi as left and right forwards and a striker like Moffi in the middle.
The three of them can even interchange positions because of their mobility.
This way, we will confuse our opponents.
Our strikers can play as wide forwards. Wide forwards are semi-wingers who can do as they like.
Also, Sadiq Umar can play as a wide forward and supporting strker at the same time.
I mean play Sadiq umar behind osimhen and only one winger. Let him roam.
These ideas are in my mind.
The fluidity of our strikers should be exploited.
I think France plays like this sometimes.
We can use wide forwards and a striker who can be mobile.

What our team needs are creative CM's and AM's. Those two positions are virtually vacant in the present SE. This is our Achilles' heel. Our boys just can't pass. If it is possible to invite Eze, Onomah, Alhassan, Nwakali or even Amoo (kid's got potential) and others ALL AT ONCE to pre-tournament camp to audition for those creative roles, let us do it. This team needs creators. We can sacrifice some slots for wingers and defenders for now.

If we end up going to the tourney with Iwobi and Etebo again as creative midfielders, we can brace ourselves for another eye-biting kick-and-follow, long pass and Inshallah display.

Rohr needs to experiment with his midfield. He should invite nwakali, nwobodo etc and play them in midfield.
The lack of creative players in our midfield is a problem that can be solved but Rohr does not care. It could prove our greatest undoing. He is wasting those friendlies

The issue is we are a footballing Nation with football academies all over the place and talents are been discovered every time.

Sports in Nigeria is dead in general, especially organized secondary school and grassroot sports.

I don't know but as per football a lot of effort is being made. There is the university football league and the sports minister revived the principal's cup and all those Barca, Roma academies etc

This Zambian team simply cannot defend and we have many dangerous forwards. Their defensive naivety is there greatest undoing.
If they play us we will win 7 - 4.
They need to work on their defense to go far in football.
But at least they have many good players in midfield and attack.

Well the better leagues in Africa are doing what our local league is not doing. Congolese league is one of the best in Africa right now and they even played in the club world cup against inter Milan before.
For your information the north African league and other good leagues in Africa is better than the obscure league s in Europe such as Latvia, Lithuania etc.
We have many players stuck in such nonsense league s in the name of being in Europe.
Tp mazembe is beautiful for a teenager. He can easily go to Belgium from there. Those obscure league s in Europe are not worth it. One can easily access Europe by playing for the best leagues in Africa. In fact, better to be in Al ahly than the Latvian league.

4. Generaly, the Nordish leagues (i.e Norway, Sweeden and Denmark).
5. The Belgian league

Hammarby is particularly interested in West African players and the owner of Sidos (Akinkunmi Amoo's football academy)
actually has an agreement with them. He could have been sold to a bigger club
but his managers refused as they did not have a developmental plan for him.
This is where our u17's should go. Going to a big club can be counter-productive.
Our youths fail in Europe because they go to the wrong environment but i am very happy we have learnt our lessons
Samson Tijani's movement to Red Bull Salzburg was brilliant as they are committed to youth development
There are some clubs in Europe our youths should not even go to or at best such clubs should sell/loan them immediately.
Anyway i commend Liverpool for developing Taiwo Awoniyi well. They constantly loaned him to where he could get playing time
until they found a good club for him in Germany where he will be played as he is their most expensive player there.
Our u17's and u20's will now suceed in Europe more often because we now know the importance of developmental football
and not rushing someone to Barcelona after scoring 15 goals in a youth competition.

Lastly Pele said Africa will win the world cup because African footballers will go to Europe and learn
and i think he was right.

The only thing stopping him is injury and loss of form. This is someone who has played for inter Milan and Torino and is experienced in the Italian league.
If he stays injury free and he is in form he will be a powerful addition to our midfield. Try him in a couple of friendlies and see what he has to offer. How many midfielders do we have in a top 5 league. He should be considered.

If care is not taken Nigeria may produce a Charles Taylor who will cause a 5 year civil war that will lead to disintegration.

Nigerian football will be in total darkness without football academies.
In fact, most of the best players in the Nigerian league are a product of football academies.
Samuel Nnoshiri (who according to report just moved to Real Oviedo in Spain) is a product of football academies.
Without football academies we will be running after foreign borns and begging them anyhow.
In fact, our national team will be so bad that we will not achieve anything.

Getting a work permit is not a routine exercise for players who are not outstanding or exceptional talent. That's the basic framework for a work permit in England.

I know multiple players from Africa who were not outstanding but found ingenuous, but still legal ways to meet the criteria and or evade by circumstance the requirements.

The new rule is that playing regularly in a top 5 league qualifies a player for work permit in England.
As per awoniyi he can have a career like Yakubu Aiyegeni. He can score regularly for average teams in the top 5 league like Yak did. Teans like Union Berlin and Aston villa. Wether he is good enough for top teams like Liverpool or Juventus is what I don't know

A lot of our foreign born players can actually build academies in Nigeria. Who told you Leon Balogun or Tammy Abraham will not be interested in building football academies, investing in our league or even starting companies in Nigeria? They simply have to be stimulated.
Diasporan Africans are helping Africa in many ways. According to a website "$25 billion annual remittance by Nigerians in the Diaspora was more than 80percent of the country’s annual budget and formed about 6percent of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP)”.

Its about who you feel allegiance for and it is a thing of the mind.
Even foriegn borns that did not play for us can invest in our Economy.
As per the issue of playing for a country, Anybody can play for anybody.
Emmanuel Olisadebe played for Poland even though he was born and bred in Nigeria and even played in the Nigerian league
Holland actually wanted Salomon Kalou to play for them when he was young.
So it doesn't allways work like that.

No matter how disgraceful it seem to others the way some foreign born players do turn us down or delay in declaring interest in playing for us I still see nothing wrong in the nff n Rohr not giving up in luring this players

If you want to compete with the best you have the best you can boast of most especially in sports.

Coming to the local league a lot hv to be done in the area players development which must start from grassroots.

The league board should make it compulsory for our local clubs to hv academies where players re taught the basics before they turn professionals. This is the reason why grassroot clubs export players easily to Europe unlike our league clubs.

I think from next season at least 5 clubs must have an academy or
the league will not start. If we have to close down NPFL for 6 months
in order for just 5 clubs out of 20 to have an academy so be it.
Also, each year at least 3 more must have an academy or the league will not start.
Also, any club without an academy 3 to 5 years from now should be closed down.
Better to have 14 good clubs than 20 who cannot produce anything.

Also, all clubs must have a certified coach. Nobody should be allowed to
coach an Npfl team without coaching certifications.
Any team without a certified coach should be fined and banned for 2 years.

These stringent measuers have to be done to raise the standard of our league
Nigeria is a country where we do not do things that are up to global standards.
We do simple things the wrong way and expect results like beating Mexico with a home based team
We need to do things up to global standards.
Next season should be reformation season.
Also, measures should be taken for coaches to be certified and be exposed to the latest method in training.
Our teams should also be encouraged to recruit players from our football academies.
The barcelona academy in Lagos should try and cooperate with Nigerian clubs so as to transfer
some of their players there.
The local league is gradually loosing relevance and football academies like tiki taka (that produced Alhassan Yusuf),
Ebedie fc (that produced Femi Martins, Paul Onuachu, Frank Onyeka) etc seem more relevant to our football.

Anyway the chairman of the body in charge of our league (LMC) has stolen a lot of money over the last
3 to 5 years. In fact, the reason why npfl was not televised was because the money supersport put in the league
for television rights was embezzeled. The leaders of the LMC must be millonaires by now. Amaju Pinnick is generally a thief

It's baffling but till tomorrow I don't know why he could not cut it in Monaco. He has everything to succeed. Dribbling skills, assist, goals etc. He even has end product and his stats are good.
I believe he can make it in an average team in a top 5 league. Teams like Lorient, Torino, osaduna etc.
He needs to go to a higher level. His talent will always attract the attention of teams in top 5 league but the question is can he make it there?

It's high time Nigeria won a world cup or get to the semi-final. We are a footballing Nation and we deserve it. We are the first African country to win a FIFA organized tornament in 1985. We have won everything at youth level. We are the highest ranking African team in history (1994 eagles were 5th best in the world). Apart from eto we are the only African country with a 20 goal striker in the Italian league (Simmmy nwankwo). The most expensive African player is a Nigerian (Victor Osimhen).
The first African to play for Chelsea is a Nigerian (Celestine Babayaro). The highest scoring African in the fa cup is a Nigerian (Kelechi iheanacho).
There is a Nigerian kid called Francis dada in Bayern youth team. We have our wonder kids like Akinkunmi Amoo waiting to explode.
We have the histi, pedigree and culture to do it. We only need to believe in ourselves.
