No link between defence and attack.
I herbye conclude Rohr should be sacked. Nwakali and nwobodo are there to shore up our midfield but he prefers shehu Abdulahi playing in Cyprus. He has run out of ideas. Mark out iwobi and the team is finished. Rohr should be sacked

Controversial Emmanuel Dennis has got the transfer rumor mills working overtime again after he posted a photo of himself training in a Galatasaray shirt.

Dennis loan spell at Bundesliga club Cologne was disastrous and he has returned to parent team Club Brugge, who have made it very clear he does not have a future there.

He has now posted a photo on Instagram which showed him working out in a Galatasaray shirt and the fans of the Istanbul giants are already celebrating his arrival.

Dennis agent, William D’Avilla has strong links at ‘Gala’ with several of his players already there – Henry Onyekuru, Oghenekaro Etebo and Valentine Ozornwafor.

He still has a year left on his contract and it is left to be seen if the Turkish club can fork out a transfer fee that is acceptable to the Belgian giants.

Transfer market values the winger at 11 Million Euros despite a rather difficult season.
I don't really believe in Emmanuel Dennis. His final ball is poor (he dribbles without end product) and he is proud. He has not achieved anything and he will be fighting with his coaches and fellow players. I hope he proves me wrong whereever he goes. He has not arrived if he thinks he has arrived then he is just a local champion or even worse.
the young man has a long way to go

WHAT ROHR MUST DO IN THE NEXT MATCH

In order to perform experiments, he should try Samson tijani in midfield
Rohr should start with the midfield trio of iwobi, ndidi and Samson tijani.
He should also try anayo iwuala and Abraham Marcus in the wings
Also, he should try Terem Moffi as a striker
and play all these players for 90 minutes. Let us see what they can do.
Under these circumstances, i dont care if we loose. Let us just see what these
new players have to offer in order to improve the team that is the essence of friendlies

Etebo is a talentless midfielder
U see we need nwakali because he is a natural midfielder. Etebo is a converted forward. Samson tijani is also a natural midfielder. Obinna nwobodo is also there.
But some people think they are carpentes and it makes me laugh.

Exactly my thought too. Of course except we want to act the ostrich and pretend nothing happened. It is very believable that certain slots were either up for sale or used for marketing especially during the times when we had SOME 9ja coaches in charge. I do not believe Amodu was involved though, cos he always featured the best legs but we may have wrong tactics.
Maybe that is why Sunday MBA and miss igiebor were dropped. When onazi got injui against France there was no midfielder to replace him. I'm sure they were dropped for some selfish reasons. That world cup squad was suspect. Dropping your best players for no sensible reason. I believe him

He was actually good at the world cup but you know the thing with our home grown talents. Players like Egwuekwe, Sunday Mba , Justice Christopher who spent most of their professional careers in Nigeria fizzle out by the time they get to international stage.
Egwuekwe was a horrible player. He cannot read the movement of a striker. Very unintelligent defender. No European team will take such a carpenter seriously

Even if iwobi playes as a RW ,we all know his main purpose there is being a midfielder

Maybe rohr should not have called the division 2 player from Portugal

Musa should not have been invited ,period

Iwobi might not have the best season but where are the options ? Olise and poor man okocha is not available to play for naija yet
This is the reason we have to give Rabiu Ibrahim a chance. Look we lack am's and we should lower the standards for that position. The cyprian league where shehu Abdulahi plays is no better than the Slovakian league in which Rabiu Ibrahim plays. At least he is a former sporting Lisbon player.
Let is give him a chance in a friendly and from there the ball is in his court if he plays well will be left to him but at least he deserves a chance

He is often called the next Viera or Wilfred Ndidi.

That's what he should do with Nwakali ,even that Rene's guy.
let's see how it would go.
Just like the goalkeeping department then, currently we don't have enough midfielders,
He need to bring in more midfielders.
Life na politics. Nwakali should contact kanu to help him. Kanu just has to say something nice about him and Rohr will consider. Kanu is the one that took him to arsenal.
There is politii in super eagles and he needs a supporter. Abraham Marcus is there because someone just put in a word for him. The stuff about changing his nationality is a ploy to get some attention to himself.
He should play the game well. Nigei coaches and administrators will listen to Kanu. Even Onuachu is there because a lot of exinternationals beleiy in him. Politics is part of life

TheSuperNerd:
Been reading some comments on Nwakali most especially from Idennaa's (Omanambala's) stance on the lad as an AM for us in the near future and I got a few things to say.

Let me reiterate that Kelechi Nwakali will function at his best for the Super Eagles in a CM role or Deep lying playmaker (DLP) role. But we don't play with a DLP. We play with Ndidi sitting at the base of our midfield like Aguilera does for Alcorcón while Kelechi roams and dictates plays in the middle.

His best bet is to play in a midfield three alongside Ndidi with Michael Olise (when he shows up) operating as the #10.
Iwobi could also be the #10 (AM) or to accommodate Olise, he could be shifted to the left (as seen from the last game) where he would be benching the likes of Samuel Kalu, Moses Simon etc. (Just another angle. Not a conclusion).

But the question is what happens to Aribo if Nwakali does get his NT chance and impresses? Well, I think it will come down to tactical choices depending on the opponents. The two of them can abide in a team where one sits for the other from the start or where we could even have both on-field for a time frame depending on the tactical goals.

Aribo is majorly a Box-to-Box Midfielder. A CM who loves to arrive late in the box and bag a few goals. He is yet to properly assert himself on games as a proper midfield dictator would but I believe it is because Aribo is not a midfield dictator. He is rather a Box-to-Box Operator and enforcer who can progress the ball forwards in attacking transitions and cover grounds in defending and attacking phases.

In Nwakali, we have a proper midfield dictator and different kind of enforcer who can control the flow of a game with his highly intelligent distribution and also cover grounds in defensive phases for the team (as seen in his 1.5 tackles per game for Alcorcón - 1st and his 1.5 Interceptions per game for Alcorcón - 3rd). He also creates from deep as seen by his key passes per game of 1.2 so far in La Liga Smartbank (Aribo also has 1.2 key passes for game for the season from roles at CM and RW predominantly).

Like Aribo, Nwakali is also a good dribbler on the ball. His dribbling stats for Alcorcón stands at 2.1 per game (84 % dribbling rate). Aribo's for Rangers in the league stands at 1.9 per game (58% dribbling rate).

For long balls distribution, Nwakali has a 4.8 Accurate Long balls per game stats count (61% long ball accuracy %). Aribo's stand at 0.5 per game (39% long ball accuracy).

Anyway, this is just a small pointer to what Kelechi Nwakali would be bringing to the Super Eagles whenever he does earn his invite. And that he must earn by keep doing what he's doing.

Right now, Aribo still remains the man for us in that CM role. Etebo is also there. Ejaria is not far behind once his switch comes through (although he offers us options in both AM and CM and on the left too).

So please, Kelechi Nwakali is not our answer in the AM role. That role belongs to Alex Iwobi and the incoming Michael Olise.

Kelechi has done really well so far in La Liga Smartbank but he would have to wait for his time to earn the call up and when he does, he will become another option in the CM role. Yes, a direct competition for Joe Aribo and Oghenekaro Etebo. Coz CM and Deeply playmaking is his true forte not AM.

Danke.
Supernerd what is your opinion of Abraham Marcus of feirense in Portugal. Rohr seems to have invited him. How good is this winger

Sir, please, I don't want to appear offensive but we Africans have to do better when we make arguments.

Nwakali is not average and I will explain. The boy won MVP at the U17 and with his amazing football gifts all he could get as an African was a loan deal from Arsenal who signed him. In his first season with a club in Holland he was terrific and later he was loaned out to another club where he met misfortune and suffered almost a season with a club football. So , when people make statements like the one you made let's tell the whole story.

As for Iwobi, being English puts him ahead of Nwakali whether the later is more talented or not. Iwobi was promoted to Arsenal first team from the academy....may I remind you Nwakali never got anything close to that. Iwobi kept fumbling but nonetheless he still got a club to field him.....thats the privilege African players never enjoy. With all your talent you will always be a second option or third.

If it wasn't for the injuries that Brendan Rogers favourite boys suffered he would not might to keep Iheanacho on the bench and frustrate him out.

Again , we Africans have to do better because we have brains. So, lets argue like smart people. Lets stop being unnecessarily emotional and narrow minded.
U are right African players face discrimination in Europe. They are not given a fair chance and are often misunderstood.

Too sad for him. But to be candid, Iwobi needs to have a good graps of positional discipline. If you are a winger, play as a winger. But the moment you start to occupy the space of the central attacking midfielder, then you are creating an imbalance in tactical formation. Sometimes you'll be wondering whether he's playing as a 10 or as a 7.
This your weakness is actually a strength to me. There is what is called a false winger and also false 10. Players like this roam from the wings to the central midfield and this makes them difficult to mark. Positional flexibility is actually a strength under the guardiola school of thought. We see football in different ways. Maybe he is misunderstood.
It's just my opinion. Being rigid with your position in attack has limitations. A player can play 2 or more position s in a match in order to confuse and mesmirize the opponents

In God's point of view going to heaven is the greatest achievement. Maybe God saw that if he lived longer he will end up in hell.
This prosperity Gospel has limitations and is only partially right.

He is improving now. He is doing well with Alcorcon. He is in fact their best player. He should perform well next season and from there the sky is the limit. A lot of teams will want him in the summer as he is recognized as one of the best midfielders in segunda league

Kelechi nwakali was not segunda league player of the month. It was Javier Puado. This is the link to the la liga site. https://www.laliga.com/en-GB/news/javier-puado-named-laliga-smartbank-player-of-the-month-for-april

This is the same site that announced that Sadiq Umar was segunda league player of the month for January and so they cannot be lying on this occasion.

That news is from owngoalnigeria.com and they are practicing junk journalism. Maybe he received player of the month for his club but not for the league

Also sd huesca have not yet been relegated. If u look at the la liga table they still have a chance.

Watching Iheanacho goal against Newcastle, I feel he can play effectively from the right. Not a right winger like Chukwueze, but a right attacker like Salah, who from the right is always found at or near/inside the 18 yard box...while Iwobi does same from the left wing.
Yeah he can be a false winger who goes to the wings when we attack and does stuff. Iheanacho is best when he is allowed to roam freely behind the striker.
Iheanacho is one attacking weapon that if correctly used can destroy any defence. The problem us like kanu he is sometimes misunderstood

If Nigeria is not safe or goes down the drain everybody will be affected. The rich, the poor, the political class. I mean EVERYBODY.
they do not understand the principles of good governance and the far reaching effect of societal breakdown. Maybe they should consult a political scientist
