Nwakaeme not getting chances for the eagles is one of the most bias thing I have ever seen at the eagles
I am baffled. He is one of our best wingers in Europe. Age doesn't matter anymore if you are exceptional. We need him in the super eagles. Even if he is 50 years old. I don't care as long as he gets the job done.
So if c Ronaldo was a Nigerian will we be looking at his age?

I understand what Rodgers is doing regarding Nacho. He is starting games using his preferred formation and picking his first choice lieutenants to fill all positions. Without being handicapped by injury this inevitably results with Nacho on the bench. Nothing personal there.

What Iheanacho needs to realise is that his heroics at the end of last season will be forgotten before mid season. A season is a long long time in football.

If Nacho really believes in his ability he would not accept that the team structure at Leicester is unsuitable for him and request a move in January.

His place on the plane to Qatar is not a given.
Iheanacho's place is secured.
We should stop listening to Europeans and their narrow minded bias views on our players.
If they refuse to beleive that he is a ramdeuter like Muller of Bayern, it is their problem
Club form is overrated in using it to judge a player.
The older i grew the more i understood this.
Players like Iheanacho are dificult to mark than most pure 9's.
The problem is that our economy and football went down since the 90's
and we send our players to Europe since we are poor and don't have facilities anymore
Europeans are just exploiting the poverty and naivete of our players to tell them TOTAL BULLSHIT.
LET NIGERIA FACE SPAIN AND IHEANACHO WILL SIMPLY DESTROY THE SPANISH DEFENSE
THESE EUROPEANS ARE RASCIST AND BIAS
NO ONE CAN CONVINCE ME THEY ARE NOT.
IN FACT, THEY THEMSELVES LOVE CONFUSING THEMSELVES

Barnes has been poor but its much more than Barnes, Leicester don't have enough defenders to field 3 defenders to play a 3-5-2 which Iheanacho can only function in that's why I said Iheanacho has to adapt because a lot of things have to happen right before he gets a start
Iheanacho can function in a 442 formation. Also 442 varies. U can play with three midfielder s a winger and a support striker

Iheanacho started many games because Barnes was out, now Barnes is back Iheanacho doesn't fit into Leicester's favored 4-3-3 formation, he has to adapt to the team rather than the team adapting to him
Leicester played 4 4 2 today. In fact since the season started they have rarely played 433.

Like i said be patient. Westerhof that is praised today won the Afcon on his 3rd attempt. 1990 (runners up). 1992 (3rd Place) 1994 (Winners). Trophies dey road dey come.
You may have a point, but we need a master tactician
who will take all these talents we have and make something beautiful out of it.
Does he need an attacking midfielder? The possibilities are there
He can try Tosin Kehinde (the manu loanee now in Denmark)
He can even pick up Muazum (our former u17) from cd nacional in the Portugues second division and polish him up.
The man has no excuse for failure.
He can also monitor nwakali, alhassan yusuf, samson tijani as they are central creative midfielders not to forget Obinna nwobodo in Turkey
He can try and get his winning formular from here.
We have good wingers and strikers and decent defenders.
he needs to take us to the next level
I sometimes wonder if Supernerd on this forum does not have more information about our players in Europe
and Bascovancelli does not have more information about our players in the Nigerian league.
He has resources at his disposal to perform some magic.
Does he really monitor our players and have knowledge of how they play?
Coaching is like been a father or mentor.
A mentor has knowledge of his wards and how to get the best out of them
He has been with these players for 5 years and has access to a scouting network and he
at least has experience as a coach. After all, he is not a novice to coaching

Arsenal have signed 9 year old Nigerian wonderkid Munir Muhammad Sada. Born to a father from Kaduna and mother from Katsina, Sada always had a dream of playing football and started even earlier from his primary school.
Rabiu Ibrahim was like this as a kid. Even chriantus Macaulay, ganiyu oseni - who ended up in Vietnam, Federico macheda the man wonder kid is no where to be found. Football is full of these kind of wonder kids. The mist important thing is if they stand the test of time and fullfill their potential. Anyway only God knows tomorrow. Osimhen and other great players out there are just a wonder kids that fulfilled his potential. Only time will tell

Right now, in any important Super Eagles match, I'll always prefer Henry Onyekuru to Samuel Chukwueze.
In matches, we need the end products. The dribbles and skills, are other additions. We should stop depending on the Centre Forward alone, to give us goals. We need Wingers that score. IMHO, Onyekuru is the better winger.
Yeah forget about the club ratings. Onyekuru is highly efficient in the final third of the pitch. His stats show it. He can easily get us goals and assists. But our ejuke and nonsense coach may not see it

You watched the football this evening? Both teams struggled to string passes together, the difference in football iq is astronomical it is not even about infrastructure, well that's a matter for another day
Yeah the football iq and knowledge if tactics is the problem. This is why Nigerian league players and black African players struggle in Europe despite their natural talent. In fact, imama akpabio stated the fact that npfl players don't understand basic the ngs about tactics and formation. Coaching bid a great problem for African youths in football.
A 12 year old boy playing football in Europe had more tactical knowledge than a 21 year old Nigerian league player.
When they get to Europe the tactical deficiencies are noticed and problems start as they have to learn very fast

Confirmed lineup.

Okoye

Shehu Awaziem Omeruo, Collins

Bonke, Kingsley

Musa

Simon Osimhen Ejuke

4-3-3

Musa as the creative midfielder.

Saw it on owngoal and they are always right.
Musa is better off as a winger. Ejuke should be the creative midfielder. Apart from that the formation is good.

My opinion in Ahmed Musa

Musa can be very good on his day. There are two Musas the one of the 2014 and 2018 world cup and a lacklustre Musa.
However, in difficult situations like this the real Musa of the world cup shows up. Rohr just needs to work on his psyche and mentality. Musa is unplayable when in the mood and he thrives when the team needs a leader.
I believe Musa will prove himself today as he rises to the occasion when it is needed

he join one of the biggest club over there they really love him and gave him their citizenship
Actually, a lot of our players will start playing for foreign nations. Particularly those who
spend too much time in obscure leagues or moreover, strikers as we are producing
too many strikers and wingers.
For example, Stephen Gopey (a former Npfl player) is doing well in Ukraine (which is a top 10 league in Europe)
but with the way we are producing strikers, he may end up playing for Ukriane as it may take sometime
before our coaches notice him.
This is why i laugh at those against us using foreing born players. In modern sports anybody can play for anybody
and with the mass migration that is a feature of the modern world, playing for another country is possible.

Meanwhile watchout for Ahmed Abdulahi the boy was part of our last u-17 and big European teams
are chasing him up and down. Dortmund, Marseile etc are after him during one of his training sessions
in Europe it was reported he scored 15 goals in 2 days. scorenigeria.com.ng is covering his development.
The boy is only 17 and the hype around him is very big. He is a striker (another testament to the large amount
of striking talent we are developing)

Who’s gonna distribute to our forwards? We haven’t solved our AM issue and all we have left are DMs.
Ejuke can manage that. He is the closest thing we have to am.
Ha u have a crazy idea. Why not try Daniel Francis dada from our u17. He is part of Bayern Munich world selection for talented youngsters. Maybe even Samson tijsni. Our u17S can stake a claim here

Unconfirmed reports out of Cape Verde are saying Kalu and Ebuehi tested positive for Covid.

Are we sure this isn't another one of those "Lori iro" moments just to weaken our lineup ahead of Tomorrow? Time will tell if this report stands.
If the test is false and it is proved they are trying to weaponize the covid tests, there should be an automatic 3 point deduction for them

Musa will very likely start. Know this and know peace. grin

Onuachu won't start. It will likely be Simon, Musa and Kalu behind Osimhen.

Personally I would prefer a trio of Simon, Ejuke and Kalu behind Osimhen because we need as much creativity as we can squeeze out from the available options to support Victor in CV. Musa is more of a runner and Victor doesn't need another runner.
But shaa, we should just get ready to see Musa lead our lads out tomorrow. Almost inevitable.

Midfield will definitely have Shehu pending any last min change. Question is who pairs Shehu? Bonke or Kingsley. Time will tell.

The backline picks itself except that Collins will keep his place at LB. Ebuehi, Awaziem and Omeruo will come in to replace the lads from the first game.
According to owngoalnigeria, kalu will play the no 10 attacking midfield role. I have always thought that either ejuke or kalu can play as attacking midfielders but I was not sure but it seems Rohr is seeing things my way.
As per kalu, he is underrated. He can play a lot of posulitions. U remember his performance in afcon qualifiers against south Africa where he played as a wing back. He was imperious in that match. If kalu can at 10 as I have always suspected then it shows why he is such a valuable player.
