Iheanacho has created 2 chances in the second half. Iheanacho broke into a star studded man city team as a teenager and scored 21 goals in 64 matches. That is impressive. You cannot be a bad player and be in man city |

komekn: Watching the Nigerian contingent at Fulham FC doing very well against what is arguably the best in form team in world football currently.
The quality of Fulhams technical on the deck football is simply OUTSTANDING.
Ademola Lookman is a BALLER yet no invitation to the SE. There are 2 reasons 1 we have many wingers and we are not desperate for wingers. Even totenham is interested in Paul Mukairu. I mean the list goes in kali, simon, onyekuru etc. If he was an attacking midfielder we will be desperate for him as we lack options there. 2. I don't know much about it but maybe the switching of nationality process is taking longer than usual. |

Abiodun Ogunniyi Omojesu played his first game for Spartaks Jumarla in the Latvian league today. He is a skillfull midfielder who models his game after Juan Mata. His case will be like Tolu Arokodare. We have many talented players who unfortunately go to the Latvian league out of desperation He just transfered from the Nigerian league (Sunshine stars) to the Latvian league in January this year. But i believe he will play his way out of obscurity soon WATCH OUT FOR HIM He will be relevant from 2022 upwards |

Tolulopefinest: Onyekuru scores In fact, he scored twice. What must be done so that he transfers his form to a top 5 league. What is missing in Onyekuru and what is the issue with him cutting it in a top 5 league. Is it a lack of tactical knowledge or what? |

TheSuperNerd: Chaaaiii Lazio don score again. 2-1 now to Lazio.
Simy on 11 goals in Serie A and not even in the list of invites at all. Things don dey change.
Our depth in attack is so wicked that a player on double figure goals in Serie A couldn't even make the latest Super Eagles list. It shows that our football is developing and our football academies are at least producing good players that can thrive in Europe. Our grassroots football is really growing and our talent discovery is also developing |

Kelechi Nwakali is progressing nicely in Alcorcon. Just what he needs. Regular football in a decent league away from any noise or pressure. This is from Alcorcon website “Every day that passes I feel better. I come to help the club continue in the Second Division " From the first minute with the Kelechi pottery sheepskin, he is offering very good feelings in the minutes he is playing. As is normal, he has needed a short period of adaptation to the team, but he has already shown numerous strokes of the magnificent qualities that he treasures in his legs. https://www.adalcorcon.com/noticia/nwakali-venir-a-la-a-d-alcorcon-es-todo-un-reto-para-mi-estoy-muy-felizI think he should be left alone to develop his club career before he is called for the National team again maybe later this year. He is getting the game time he needs and according to the website, he is doing well with the club. With time he will mature to be a great player. By next year things will change for him |

12large1: wetin consign me with olisa ndah a dreadlocked defender that SE probably don't even need now. We have balogun, omeruo, awaziem, ekong at much better level than him. The position that SE is lacking the most is creative midfielders and for that reasons, we need Micheal olise, ejaria more than a CD position. Why not use austin oladapo from enyimba as an attacking midfielder |

BascoVanVeli: Enyimba 2-1 Al Ahly
Apart from a costly silly mistake Enyimba have been eye catching. They have been running circles around the Libyans 1. If home based players do well in continental competitions then they will have a chance in the national team 2 the time for home based players will still come. Roger is leaving next year and the next coach will favor them. Even now they still have a chance with Rohr. 3. If they must run to Europe the Greek league will be better. It is not too obscure and you can enter a top 10 league from there. It is better than latvia or lithuania 4. Home based players must do well when they are in Europe or in the national team. I mean taiye taiwo went from lobi stars to Marseille, finding george went from sharks to Ajax. The present generation of home based players must be able to do something like that. 5. I know they are good but they must prove it |

JohnBullMySon: I don't believe the issue is foreign born or home based. If Keshi was still around, I believe he'll invite even more foreign borns than Rohr. Hardwork and consistency is not something very common with our foreign based home borns, apart from few exceptions like Ndidi, Zaidu, many fail to reach their potential. Hence the need to bring in homebased then who are hungry for fame and to take their career to a new level. Now FBs are the mix, playing in quality leagues and showing good levels of consistency, so it's not strange if they displace the home based guys as well as others. Mind you, other African countries are moving for their FBs to build their teams because they have seen that FBs make up a large part of all the top teams in Africa. Any move to indigenize the national team, will take us down where you won't like.
Right now, the focus of the league should be more marketing. the national team is not where the league is marketed. the league should be on TV fully first, from there, they can sign players to highly rated farmer's leagues and even the big 3, but not these low rated carpenters league. money will come in and the league can improve, but all these Barca academy and the likes in Nigeria will not help us, it will only end in us gifting Spain an Ansu Fati. Barca academy and the likes will help us. Players from such places will still play for us. I don't agree with that. |

TheSuperNerd: SADIQ Umar won't be called up. He's doing very well but his time will come. Thanks goodness he is heading out to Sevilla in the Summer once the En-Nesyri transfer out of Seville is done.
Terem Moffi will make the list. The list is with the NFF but they are delaying its release as they are "scrutinizing" it. Rohr even hinted at it in the last interview that Moffi has a "different" profile and it'll be interesting to look at him.
Simy Nwankwo is doing well for himself and that shows the depth of our strikers pool but I don't think he will make the list. Time will tell because a last minute change can happen when you have a lad on 10 goals in a league like Serie A.
But Osimhen is the striker Rohr is more than happy to welcome back from injury and with him scoring yesterday even when not yet at 100%, you can be sure he will make the list. Rohr has said it times and times again than Osimhen is the first choice. That is what folks must understand.
A lad that is responsible for 8 goals out of your last 11 goals in recent games is not one you drop because some other has 10. Omo... Club Stats no be everything ooo. National Team Dynamics and synergy comes first. If Sadiq Umar goes to Sevilla and starts scoring goals then he will force his way into the super eagles. Roger can't ignore a striker who scores goals in the la liga |

quickberry: This comment of yours, shows that you didn't watch Jay-Jay play for Nigeria. Go and download his Super Eagles videos. He had 3 or 4 goals at 2004 Afcon as a no 10. Go and watch 2000 afcon final, Korea/Japan 2002 world cup qualifiers etc Okocha scored 16 goals and had 12 assists in one of his 2 seasons in Turkey with Fernabache. In fact, he had a lot of goals and assists in Turkey The idea Okocha over dribbled is overrated |

Foreign born footballers are Generally overrated. They just have access to publicity and exposure. i dont see much about them |

zuchyblink: I disagree with Rohr on his notion that playing in big leagues determine success in National teams. Brazil has won world cups with more home base players than foreign based players and are the most successful national team in FIFA world cup. Egypt the most successful national team in Africa achieved that feat with almost home based players. I quite agree with you. He is simply not a very good coach. His coaching skills are just average. Besides, ending up in a big league is a question of time. A player in the Belgian league might end up in the Spanish league in 3 years time. As a coach you identify a good player at an embryonic stage based on his style and technique and then you use them. In fact, success as International level can get you a big club. Playing for a big club happens with the passage of time and your excellence. Greece won euro 2014 with good players not neccesarily players in Real Madrid or Barcelona. You only nee 5 to 6 world class players to win a competition. The rest just have to be very good and not world class. I mean what if Paul Mukairu ends up in a big club in 3 years time. We have many young players that can get in a big club but we do not have to wait for that to happen to get results out of them. Most players are around 23 and even more before they get into big clubs. Rohr's notion is limited and myopic. |
