No reasonable Nigerian will contest the quality of this permutation. It meets both the developmental need and political balance which Nigeria needs.

Politics › Re: IMF: Nigeria Remains Largest Economy In Africa, 26th In The World by PHIPEX(m): 7:14pm On Dec 29, 2020
I remember how Lai Mohammed ridiculed the rebasement of the economy around 2010 that made Nigeria number one in Africa.

I wait to see how he will celebrate this same position now.

As good as it sounds, we should be worried the value of the GDP has not grown since we emerged number one in Africa.

Business › Re: CBN Okays Withdrawals Of Dollars From Domiciliary Accounts by PHIPEX(m): 2:57pm On Dec 01, 2020
koning:
Nigerians take every news on face value. Have you ever attempted to collect dollar from any Nigerian bank as an individual?.
Let's not be naive. The banks will forever tell you that Dollar is not available.

After you don wait tire. You go collect Naira to solve your pressing problem.
This policy is only good on paper. The reality is that banks will never 'have' the Dollar to pay out. Not even $100.
It's not available because people moved their dollars to black market and Aboki kiosks. Where will the banks get it from?
Business › Re: CBN Okays Withdrawals Of Dollars From Domiciliary Accounts by PHIPEX(m): 2:53pm On Dec 01, 2020
Why now, they should continue to practice 1842 economic policies. Because you want to catch a thief, you closed your borders for over a year against legal business people transacting across international boarders, why wouldn't you struggle and fall into recession.

Politics › Re: Buhari Is Pushing Nigeria To New Debt Trap - Punch Editorial by PHIPEX(m): 9:56am On Nov 16, 2020
I pity the next administration, Osun will be a child's play. After wrecking the economy, Buhari and his team will soon retire while the next administration will bear the burden because by then they wouldn't be able to borrow while their income will be used to service these loans.

The future of Nigeria is scary

Only farmers will understand the impact of this gesture. It's like giving a business man a seed capital after his shop got looted. Farmers pay heavily to get cassava stem which is all they need to produce the garri you eat.
