nuggarito:If we go by not disclosing salary info then they are just (responsibility) partners and not married couples. How do marries survives on so many secrets? Go to the banks and see so many dormant accounts that the dead owners kept as secrets from their families. At the end it becomes banks' money. |
Blackmann001:You need to check yourself well. How many Igbo people have you met one on one? |
How do you daily share a bed and your body with someone you can't trust with your finances? Is your money worth more than your body? Both of you are heading for a very bumpy ride if you keep hiding your finances from each other. How exactly will both of you plan as a family if you dont know how much both of you have? Seizing your ATM is a first stage of crises escalation, if you dont resolves these 'secrets' you might not have a marriage in the near future. Both of you might just be co-habiting and bearing children. |
Go to school if you can, if you can't establish yourself in Business and start a part-time school. There is no standard formula for success in life. |
It shows how the govt will be helpless if serious civil unrest starts in Nigeria, Police will be helpless. |
Imagine same Lai Mohammed that tore Jonathan apart with insults and criticism. |
I know a book titled "Talent is not enough". There is a business side of entertainment, it's not enough to know how to sing same applies to footballers. Record labels are business people and profit is their aim not your well being except if your well being will bring more profit. Everyone must be selfish when signing a contract. |
These whole inter state ban is a waste of time. People are moving freely as long as they can pay police dues. |
Princedapace:You can also add Botswana one of the best run African countries today is landlocked |
This only shows the level of media propaganda the Igbos suffered when we had only the mainstream media. Some properly fabricated lies were passed from generation to another and now deemed to be the truth about Igbos because there was no way to debunk them till now. |
Experts that can't provide corona virus cure. Is there any drug without side effect even the Chloroquine? |
It takes a govt that has absolute trust in it's local product to willing give it as a gift to another country. We can't say same of Nigerian govt. |
All the Nairaland historians will be quiet now but tomorrow they will come to tell you how there are no Igbos in Delta State. No matter how long lies travel, truth will catch up. I hope the Ikwere champions are listening. |
I still posit that refusal to teach history in our schools is akin to perpetuating the believe in western world that Africans had no history before the arrival of the British. The Nigerian govt is doing so much injustice to the unborn generation. It's nothing short of creative destruction. We were taught in government classes that British indirect rule failed in Igboland, partially succeeded in the west but a huge success in the North. None of them was explicit enough to tell us why it failed in the East. Maybe these and more were the reasons. I never heard of this resistance.

Double post |
Wow. This ban of teaching of history in schools is deliberate instrument of war. I heard of this report in govt classes but never for once did they mention things like this. Thanks OP. The govt and haters used main stream media to drive home their propaganda against the Igbos after the war. Thanks to social media. |
Why does Buhari love to close borders? |
iamloyalty:About 50k for Visa |
iamloyalty:Everything was seemless both going and coming back. I got their one month Visa in less than a week from their Embassy at Abuja. |
Shame on you Malami. Who among those prosecuted by EFCC did you refer to their stolen wealth as asset? If it's an asset then Abacha's family can sue you for taking their family's "asset". |
Imagine if these states tackled this Almajiri issue this way long ago. If they have sense they should know this is a golden opportunity to end it once and for all. |
Wetin concern TVC with lockdown? |
SLAP44:It's part of their regulatory functions. Even before now no bank can open or close a branch without CBN's approval. This is a good news by the way. |
demsy21:I never saw apple let alone eat it until I was 15, so I agree with you. The book targets the society and the class of pupils in question, I see nothing wrong with it. If the hand is for washing what's wrong with the head being for carrying? Most people who argue here haven't provided a better answer for the use of the head that's relatable to a child in primary 1 or 2. This explains why these days private schools give children home work that only the parents can solve because they want to form high standard. |
The elites of Kano are dieing off, Ganduje why?? Who remembers this Corona officially entered Kano same day it entered Anambra? |
Even at old age Buhari wants to bequeath nepotism to the younger generation. I only blame those that believed in 2015 that an 80year old man will change his behavior overnight. |
sweetsell:This your lie doesn't have option 2. This is a continuation of the work Obi started. Peter Obi did Umueze-Anam to Mmiata while Obiano is taking it from Mmiata to Nzam. Both of them have done very well for Anambra West. Each section of the road has a bridges too. |
martowskin1:Lockdown is good but it should be a short term solution and not till infinity especially when Nigeria is not making it's own effort in finding a vaccine. You can't completely lockdown your citizens without a palliative and keep waiting for whenever the West finds you a vaccine. What has the govt given to be a condition to ease the lockdown? none so we dont even know what to hope for. Is it till the last person is cured or vaccine is found?. They are waiting for the West to profer a solution and we copy and paste in Nigeria. If a public safety measure has no human face it becomes wickedness to the poor. |
martowskin1:Let's not be elitist. Imagine the mechanic, the vulcanizer, the bus driver, the traders stop for a minute and ask yourself how do these people survive? No one is supporting recklessness at this time but as much as you want us to be safe from Covid-19, also make plan to keep them safe from hunger virus, both kill equally. |
Nwaelohim:So how many of your neighbours have you bothered to check how they are surviving this period. It's easy to push for a lockdown when you are comfortable at home. A hungry and angry Nigerian does not fear Covid-19, he needs food to think straight. In the absence of any palliative, continuing the lockdown becomes criminal. |
My love for Soludo keeps hitting the roof. Any business man currently surviving the lockdown is eating his capital, how will he re-start his business if the lockdown persist or vaccine found? At some point the lockdown will be lifted but the damage done might be irredeemable, why not limit the damage now? How long more shall we stay at home when even 1 case left untreated can still infect the whole population again. Should we remain at home till the last person is treated? How do you intend to lockdown a hungry striven population for months and "hope" everyone will survive? Let those who can stay at home and those who need to survive resume work. |
