This seems like what those that were massacred in Asaba went through in 1967. Coming with peace but met with death. |
I believe the Governor is a pawn in the scheme of things I bet they ordered him to declare the curfew to achieve their aim of intimidating the protesters. Who could have ordered the removal of CCTV if not the owner of CCTV |
Of what use are you if you can identify who the sponsors are? |
I knew it will get to Lagos today. Hired thugs to discredit the protest. In few days time they will send in the military, that's the game. |
10 people have died in protest but Buhari is yet to make a comment |
myBraine:Who has mentioned separation among all these protesters? Why are you spinning what does not exist? If Buhari is not your father you owe your children the obligation of demanding a better Nigeria from his govt. |
Whichever way this protest ends, Nigerian youths have spoken loud and clear. Our political scene might never remain the same again going forward. |
North East Debt commission, what's their work? Am hearing this name for the first time. |
Congrats to the govt, they deserve the accolade. |
Bkayyy:Happy to see the VP in Anam, but then as usual nothing ever comes out of such visits. |
So this news is not yet worthy of getting to the front page? |
Imagine the unnecessary trans cost, damage to our roads, accidents by these container trucks when we have a safer water way to the East? |
blacknp:Not really so, only that while you are enjoying a mediocre Nigeria, we are complaining that Nigeria as it is now is drawing the rest of us back. |
The core north believes a failed Nigeria as it is now favours them. They they will rather remain in a failed nation than contemplate a possible solution. Unfortunately, they have the political power, the hope for a better Nigeria looks dim. |
This guy has serious anger problem. In times like this no one care to know what the woman did or said. |
I expected Nigeria to look this healthy at 60 |
How does Oga at the top watch his employees fight in public and feel unconcerned? |
Buhari's character is a clear picture of why there was a civil war in this country by his generation. He's terminally divisive and vindictive, unfortunately for him, even if all the organs and institutions of govt are controlled by his family members, the North will remain behind the South by all development indices. |
But must everyone join Sowore's protest to be relevant? |
What sort of a hopeless govt is this? |
What about the justices for North central, South East and South West? Why is everything including the National population commission all about the North? |
Our socialist govt is at it again. Free food, free education, free tradamoni, free corruption. They end up breeding lazy. poor and entitled population. |
Federal republic of Northern Nigeria. If this is true, everyone who played a part in bringing these people to power should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. |
Some states should be scrapped |
Kunle has a history of throwing childish tantrum, first against the entire Igbo tribe and now to Mike. He definitely has a deep rooted hatred against his colleagues down the East to have made similar statements twice in a row. Respect is earned not a right and he keeps losing the litle he had in the sight of reasonable people and he better work to change it while he can before he gets stereotyped as a tribalist. https://www.nairaland.com/2240758/kunle-afolayan-blasts-igbos-blames |
Shame on you all! Go and read "How Nations fail" and understand what is called "Creative destruction" that's what you guys are doing to Nigeria. You borrow to build white elephant project in a non-productive zone while your biggest travelers and importers in the East are crying for it, Nigeria will keep dying while your village people keep ridding the train. What a misplaced priority? |
hisgrace090:Elrufai was in Anambra as a private citizen not govt official because he was not then a governor or an official rep of a party in the state. |
Great job, am observing keenly. Great job with the cost updates. |
These are some of the men that have suddenly lost their voices, when last did you hear his voice against the oppressions of this govt? How will he condemn the killings in Southern Kaduna? |
In just 2 days FG became aware because it concerns them. if it were to be about the man on the street, the man at Aso rock will tell us "am not aware". |
Good initiative as long as the "Nigerian factor" will not make a mess of it. Either the disbursing institution will steal the fund or the borrowers will refuse to pay back. Eg tradamoni |
