In as much as Umahi may be right the other simple reason to me is JOBLESSNESS.

The North in particular and Nigeria in general dosn't know what to do to Ndigbo. The last card they hold is the presidency and thats why they guard it jealously. Every strategy they held against Ndigbo has fallen like a pack of card, many will commit suicide if the presidency goes to the South East, unfortunately for them, we don't even care that much.

Coups are condemnable no matter what but the president seems to have instigated it in the first place. Why change the constitution to allow him run for a 3rd term?

A president that can't bring peace to his own state can certainly not have anything good for my own state.

Are you lot aware that we have more igbos in Lagos and ogun compared to igbos In ebonyi even though Lagos and ogun are not an Eastern state . The reason for the high drop out in south west is simply because of the high population and high presence of non indigenes...

Can tell you most of the dropout in Lagos, oyo and ogun are mostly people from the north and some other few non indigenes because of their high presence in the states

And if you notice states like osun, ondo and ekiti have very low drop out because most of the people there are indigenes.


In conclusion the reason why south east is having lower than south west is because the west is by far more populated with lot of non indigenes

Ebonyi has a population of over 4 million and Ogun has a population of over 4million. How then can more Igbos be in Ogun than Ebonyi ? You guys should wake up, realities of Education have changed decades ago.

I slightly agree with Daddy Freeze here especially when I hear some "testimonies". How can you celebrate about getting a job you are not qualified for through the backdoor and call it grace? We couldn't pay back our loans in 1999, at the rate we are going, our debts will be unsustainable in 5years time. A new president will have no choice than to go again begging for debt relief.

That's to tell you all these elongated project timeline are flimsy excuses. Imagine taking 10years to build Lagos-Ibadan and 15 years+ to build Enugu-Onitsha, 10 years + to build Mile 2 - Badagry express ways?
