Hahaha...well, your overwhelming patience must be rewarded before the end of Ember months, if not This Day self.

If the picker ever jumps you today/this month(that is if S/he dares), speak to mother earth about the partiality unclad at 12am with water in your right hand and drink it.

I was reffering to issuing of ITA, not Grants; although ITA & Grants quickness comes with luck.
But if one is dogged enough, goodlucks can be made out of badlucks.

Lol @ dogged. If being dogged yields speedy grants I won't be heading towards this 12months wait time. I for done get grant under 1 month.

This won't give u any points towards migration.you need minimum 7.0 across board to get at least 10points

But u can still commence your qualification and experience (if u have) assessment with EA using this current English result. It's after positive assessment by EA you can begin to add up all points.

Age= 30
Degree=15
Experience= ??
English=
Partner= ??

So let's assume you get 5 points from work experience, your total points will be 50 without English, then you will take another test of English and aim at getting 8 in all modules to claim 20 points from English. Then you are safely at 70 points. Then you will pray to Baba God as you enter pool.

@aussy4life. I appreciate you. I have the VETASSESS address now.
I am actually considering HR adviser, but there is a restriction placed on the visa type. Only 407, 489(S/T) and TSS(M) is available. Hence , I am thinking of Management consultant to enable me apply for either 189 or 190.

My concerns are;
1.) Should I nominate HR adviser which happens to be my experience strenght with visa 489 in mind?
2.) Is it possible to get PR visa later while living in Australia if I applied for 489 now?

Thanks.

I will suggest you search for the ANZSCO code job description for both occupations and decide which matches your work experience the most. I am guessing it will be HR adviser from your explanation. VETASSESS is a very strict body so it's better to choose the straightforward option

It's better you go for 489, it will eventually lead to a PR after 2 years of working in the region that nominated you. Read about the 489 visa it's not bad at all

Thank you for the response. I have done the same thing on Friday, I hope they acknowledge it. Thank you

I did with hellofax. They acknowledged it within 24hrs.

I typed my WES reference number and placed it ontop of my cert (digitally) before sending it to them.

Please who has sent a fax to WES recently. ACCA sent documents to them but did not include a copy of my certificate and they requested for a copy so I sent via Fax based on some info I saw on their website. I hope this will fly

Good evening everyone. Good news first. I just got 20 points from my second PTE attempt. Now I have 65 points. Occupation is mechanical engineering. I know my chances for 189 are very slim. Can I apply for 489 and 190, and still put in for the 189?
Secondly, I did not claim work experience for my EA assessment but I graduated in 2014 and I have been working for about 1 year and 8 months (full time) and another 1 year and 5 months as an intern at the same place before full time employment. Making it a little over 3 years altogether. Can I claim points for this?

I believe you can claim work experience points as long as you are able to provide adequate documents to back up the claim I.e pay slips, statement, reference letter, employment offer etc, also ensure the roles are in line with the ANZSCO roles. Because you will have to add all this when submitting your application
