we are going to see things you should not do on your Android. Here, I am going to share with you some tips not to do while using Android. So let's start... 1> Don't Kill Apps/ tasks Android is the best platform for multitasking, like Windows it lets you do several tasks at a time. But many people have the habit to clear apps from multitasking interface to free the RAM. People think it will speed up their mobile but that's not the case. Android is capable of managing the apps if there were too many apps opened in the background for a long time, and if there is a shortage of RAM to process the operation, Android automatically closes the apps that are been there for a long time without use. When you kill the apps manually or use such apps like memory cleaner apps to kill the apps from the background, then when you open any app again it took more time to open and uses more sources of mobile which leads to drain your battery fast and slows down your mobile. So don't kill apps manually let your Smartphone handle it even though it feels nice to do it manually. 2> Don't Install Antivirus Apps Many people concerned about this while using Android. They think it will protect their device but honestly, I don't think they are necessary. Google brings great protection on devices, Google Play services on your device features various scanning and security services that makes sure that the users are safe from any risks. You don't need antivirus app just be careful while downloading apps on your Android. Don't download it from any unknown sources, try to use official developer’s app, not any random similar app. 3> Don't Give Permissions to Apps Blindly App permission is one of the best ways for hackers who stole your information. There are lots of apps the tube download, takes unnecessary permission from you even though it did not needed. So in this case, you have to be smart while giving your device permission to any app. In some cases, the required permission by app does make sense but some apps ask you about your telephone, contacts, storage etc. even though it is not necessary. So don't just blindly allow permissions to any apps you downloaded. Understand what that app does and according to that what permission does it needed. 4> Don't Clear Cache Daily There are so many apps available that promise to free storage and they do so by clearing cache, but wait, this is not good for your device if you do it every day. Cache is the most regularly used data of the app to make sure that the app opens fast when you relaunch it. When you clear the cache all the saved data is gone and now when you open the app again it opens as a fresh from scratch. I.e. it took more time to load content and so it drains your battery. However eventually cache data stored is increases in GB so in that case, you can clear the cache once in a week or so. And you don't need any external app to do that. Clearing cache is pretty simple. Just go to the setting and then storage, open internal storage and at the end, you will see cached data. Just tap and clear it free storage. That's it. 5> Don't Use Battery Saver Apps Many Android users believe that by installing battery saving app might save their battery but they don't. Yes, you heard it right. Then what they do? Well, if you see any battery saving app, what they do is it kills the app that is running in the background, lower the brightness, screen timeout, close Bluetooth, GPS, and Wi-Fi etc. Well, these are the things that you can do yourself. Then what is the point of installing such apps. So yeah battery saving apps do what you can do manually nothing else. And more on this, such apps continue to run in the background drain more battery. The app to save battery is the one which drains more battery strange isn't it? 6> Shutdown/Restart Smartphone Twice a Week This is a small tip but actually, it is very important. Rebooting your Smartphone twice a week makes sure your battery stays healthy. Also, it resets the cache files that are stored on your phone and also helps with diagnostics; it gives your phone a fresh start by clearing any errors. So do it. 7> Don't Download Fake Apps By fake apps I mean, apps that are similar to those original official apps. And there are so many apps on Play Store that are fake. Example, if you want to download passport app then download only from its official developer but you can also see there are lots of similar results of similar apps that claim to do your work. Either they gather your information or they use the link to redirect you to the official website. So be careful from such apps, even though some of them are not harmful to you but some of them are very. Because they can collect your data that you entered and misuse it and also they ask you different permissions of your device. So be aware of such apps. 8> Don't Download Apps from a Shared link on Whatsapp or any Other Media You have definitely seen lots of messages on Whatsapp with links and message which recommend you to download that app by clicking that link. Such apps might be for to earn money, or to free recharge or any fake app message like download Whatsapp gold, silver like that for extra features. You should be aware and stay away from such apps and they might harmful for your device as they may contain any virus’s cookies collect your data and jeopardize your safety and privacy. 9> Don't Root Your Android without Proper Knowledge Well, there is crazy about rooting the Smartphone because it makes you admin of the device to play with its all functions and make changes or install external ROM etc. But wait; don't root your device unless you know what are you going to do after rooting and unless you have all knowledge about it. Improper rooting may crack your device permanently; also many Smartphone companies not allow you to do so you do it when your phone is in warranty then doing so may void your warranty. So do your homework before doing rooting 10> Don't Download Fraud Apps In the last tip I want to tell you that stay away from such apps that promise you to increase your RAM, or fast charge your device or add fingerprint scanner on your device if not present already. See, these kinds of things are hardware dependent and no software fix that. If your phone does not have fingerprint scanner then you can't add it by any app. Or if your phone comes with 4 GB of ram then that's it you cannot increase it to 6 GB. Don't just see downloads or ratings of such apps, be a smart user of your Smartphone and don't let such apps spam you. So, guys, these are some of the tips that you should take care about while using Android. If you like it then do share this with your friends and family & please leave your valuable thought in comment section below... Thank You So Much http://www.infinix.club/ng/forum/352/821762 11 Likes 3 Shares |

1). Keep your cell phone within reach while driving:- “ Place your cell phone within easy reach and where you can grab it without taking your eyes off of the road. If you receive a call at an inconvenient time, if possible, let your voice mail answer it for you. ” (2). Use speaker phone or a headset:- “ Use a hands-free device like a headset or talk on speaker phone. ” (3). Hang up when necessary:- “Just because you can talk in the car doesn’t mean you always should. If you’re getting into a hairy traffic situation or the skies open up with buckets of rain, don’t try to power through it. These hazardous situations require your full attention, so end your call and focus up. ” (4). Don’t dial while driving:- “ Become familiar with your phone’s speed dialing and voice activation features to minimize dialing. ” (5). Remember to focus on driving:- “ Don’t look up phone numbers, don’t take notes or play with your PDA (personal digital assistant) while driving. These activities prohibit you from watching where you are going. Of course, you shouldn’t read the paper, apply eye make-up or write notes while driving either! Driving is serious business. ” (6). Keep conversations to a minimum while driving:- “ Keep conversations short and sweet. Develop ways to get free of long-winded friends and associates while on the road. Don’t use the cell phone for social visiting while you drive. ” (7). Ask your passenger to dial when you’re in the driver’s seat:- “ If possible, ask a passenger to make or take a call for you. ” ( ![]() “ Familiarize yourself with the laws concerning distracted driving. Many states have outlawed cell phone usage when driving. ” { So drive safely & use above tips and save yourself and your dear ones please leave your valuable thought about that in comment section below... WhatsApp has started rolling out stickers for its Android apps available in the beta channel. The stickers are now available on WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.18.329. The Facebook-owned app was long-rumoured to be working on stickers to offer more options to communicate other than texts, audio, and emojis. The WhatsApp stickers will be available under the emoji icon next to emojis and GIFs. The WhatsApp stickers are limited to only 12 packs as of now that come preloaded in the update, however, there is an add button to allow you to get more stickers from Google Play store. Some of the sticker packs include “Cuppy”, “Salty”, “Komo”, “Bibimbap Friends”, “Shiba Inu”, “Hatch”, “Banana”, and “Biscuit”. All of the stickers are free of charge. Users can send WhatsApp stickers to an individual chat or a group chat – the stickers will be visible to the recipients even if their WhatsApp isn’t updated to the latest version. However, they will be able to send stickers only after getting the latest version. When sent in bulk or consecutively, WhatsApp will group the stickers into a message blob with four sticker thumbnails visible while the rest hidden. This is similar to how WhatsApp deals with multiple photos or videos sent at once. It’s not clear as of now when WhatsApp will roll out stickers to the stable build. However, considering the timelines WhatsApp has followed to deliver the beta features to the stable channel, it shouldn’t take much time for WhatsApp to roll out stickers for everyone. To recall, WhatsApp is also reportedly testing Vacation Mode, Silent Mode, and Linked Accounts. http://www.infinix.club/ng/forum/690/764906 2 Likes |

Android phones are about the most popular out there, but just how many of its users have a good idea of what they carry? Well, this post should change that! THE EASIEST WAY TO SAVE YOUR BATTERY POWER If you choose a black or simple dark background for your screen, the automatic pixel highlighting will turn off, and you’ll notice that your device keeps its charge for much longer. This feature isn’t available for all Android devices yet, but it’s already implemented on most Samsung smartphones and tablets. TEXT-TO-SPEECH Not only can you read texts on your phone, you can also listen to them if you have an Android device. So if you prefer to hear incoming information rather than see it, go to Settings -> Accessibility and turn on the Text-to-Speech Output option. SMARTPHONE REMOTE CONTROL Just go to Settings -> Security -> Device administrators, and check the boxes next to Android Device Manager, Remotely locate this device, and Allow remote lock and erase. Now if you lose your smartphone, you can locate and block it without losing your data via this website. TURNING ON GUEST MODE If you would like to temporarily give your phone to another person yet keep your personal data confidential, use Guest Mode. Swipe down from the top with two fingers, and touch the user icon on the upper right. The Add guest icon will appear, and you’ll be able to choose which actions the person handling your smartphone will be allowed to take. SCREEN MAGNIFIER People with poor eyesight often have no idea how much this feature can help them. Just go to Settings -> Accessibility -> Magnification gestures. Then you’ll be able to zoom in on any part of the display just by tapping it. CONTROL YOUR SMARTPHONE WITH HEAD MOVEMENTS There are situations when you just have to use your gadget but your hands are otherwise occupied or it’s just too cold outside to take your warm gloves off. However, there’s a solution for this! After installing a free app called EVA Facial Mouse, you’ll be able to control your Android device with movements of your head! The detailed guide on installation is here. A SECRET GAME Starting with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, Google puts a small secret present for users into all their devices. However, finding it may prove to be quite difficult. Here are instructions on how to do it despite the odds. First, go to Settings and choose About phone or About tablet. Quickly tap Android version several times, and when a small marshmallow shows up on the screen, quickly tap it again, and a special mini-game will open. http://www.infinix.club/ng/forum/627/764928 |

314 What is a Build Number ? A build Number is a _Unique identifier used for the delivery (through batches) of android updates and also an specific identity of a phone . How to Identify the Numbers in a Build Number ( Nougat and Oreo ). There are usually 4 sections. Fix Sim Card not detected reboot error on Android phones METHOD 1 There have been a few issues with Android phones losing connection to the SIM card. Some issues have been with Android. Fortunately, there are a few fixes that seem to address all of them. So if you’re seeing the sim card not detected reboot error on your Android phone, this is for you. Clear Android cache and data Clearing the cache and data from the recovery menu seems to address a wide range of issues. That makes it a good place to start with the sim card one. 1. Navigate to Settings, Storage & USB, Cached data and select Clear cached data. 2. Power off the phone. 3. Boot the phone by holding the power and volume buttons. The Fastboot menu should appear. 4. Use the volume buttons to select Recovery and the power button to select it. 5. Let go of the power button but continue holding volume up and home until the Android logo appears. You should now be in the recovery menu. 6. Select Wipe cache partition with the volume down button and select it using the power button. This seems to address the majority of sim card not detected reboot errors we have seen so far. METHOD 2 The No SIM card error usually occurs when your Sim card is not inserted properly. This is the most common reason for the error but it is not the only reason why your phone may show this error. No SIM card can mean problems with your device’s software too. There is a chance that the SIM card is inserted properly but your device is not reading it because of a software corruption. It may also point towards your device’s inability to check for a network. While we can continue to explore more reasons for the problem, let us see how we can resolve the issue so that you can use your phone as usual. A phone showing this error shows that you don’t have the connectivity on your phone completely. In other words, no phone calls, no mobile data, and no messages. A smartphone may not be smart any longer with the no SIM card installed error. Ways to resolve the No SIM card error in Android Solution 1: Restart your device Let us begin with the quickest and easiest way to solve the problem. When your phone restarts, it refreshes most of the software which in turn ensures that minor errors can be resolved by it. So restart your device and allow it to connect to the network once again and check if your Android device is reading the SIM. If your problem is solved then you may not have to worry about the next solutions unless restarting the device has been a temporary fix and you have had the problem return on your device very frequently. Solution 2: Check the SIM tray Power off your device and remove the SIM card from your Android device. There is a chance that dust built up on your phone and it is creating a problem where the SIM comes in contact with your device’s internal circuit. Blow out dust from the SIM tray and wipe your SIM gently without damaging any of its parts. Return the SIM to the tray and power on your device. Check if it is working now. If the problem persists, try using a different SIM card on your device if you have an unlocked Android smartphone. In doing so, you will be able to confirm whether it is the SIM that is at fault or if your device needs further troubleshooting. If other SIM cards work fine on your device then your SIM is the problem. Your device is completely capable of reading SIM cards but a damaged SIM card may be causing the problem. In this case, you must take the SIM card to your carrier. Solution 3: Place the SIM securely on the tray When the SIM card is not placed securely, it may end up causing this error. This is happening because every time your phone tries to connect to the network, the SIM card loses its connection with the rest of the device and causes an error. To fix this, you must apply pressure of some kind to the card slot so that the SIM can stay put. Some users have found it easy to use tape to fix the SIM card to its position. Others have used a piece of paper to apply pressure on the SIM card so it does not move from its position. Solution 4: Toggle Airplane Mode Once you know that the SIM card is not the problem, try toggling the Airplane mode on your device. Many readers have found success in resolving the SIM error by toggling the Airplane mode. Pull down the notifications pane on your device Look for Airplane mode (Flight mode) by scrolling left or right through the icons. Tap on Airplane mode to switch it on Tap on Enable on the warning message that you see on the screen. Wait for 30 seconds and tap on Airplane mode again to switch it off Once the Airplane mode is off, your device will once again try to search for network. If it is able to look for networks then your problem is solved. Solution 5: Set Network Mode to Auto Sometimes, your network mode may have been mistakenly set to the incorrect type which can create a problem for users. When you have the wrong network type select, your device may not be able to choose the right network and you may end up seeing a SIM error on your device. To resolve it follow these steps: Head to the Setting menu of your Android device Look for more networks which will be under the Connections section. Tap on it. Next, tap on Mobile Networks Tap on Network mode You will get a pop-up menu with the different options that you can choose. Make sure that you select the first option which says LTE/WCDMA/GSM (auto connect). Selecting this will make sure that your device can automatically connect to the available network. If the wrong option was selected, it may have led to an error which resulted in the No SIM error on your device. Solution 6: Choose the right network Operator If the network operator selected on your device is not the same as the carrier you are using for your device, you may end up seeing this error. To resolve it, follow these steps: Go to the Settings menu of your device Tap on More Networks and then go to Mobile Networks Here, you must tap on Network Operators Tap on the option that says Search Networks Your device will start searching for the available networks. Once the search is completed you will see a list of network carriers on the screen. Make sure you select the carrier that you are currently with. This will ensure that your device is able to connect properly so that it does not end up with SIM errors. You can use these methods to resolve No SIM error on all Android devices Solution 7: Reset your device to factory settings When nothing else works, resetting your device to factory settings can help resolve most of the problems on your device that arise from a problematic software. Once your device is reset to factory settings, you will lose all forms of data and it will also delete all the third party apps on your device. This is why it is peremptory that you back up all the data on your device before you proceed with resetting your device to factory settings. Head to the Settings menu of your device Look for Backup and Restore and tap on it Remember to tap on Backup to ensure that you have all your app settings backed up before you reset your device. Also, ensure that Automatic restore is checked so that you can automatically restore all the settings once your device is reset to factory settings. Next, tap Reset phone. Once you reset your device, it will automatically reboot your phone. After the reboot is over, check if your device works now and if the error is fixed. What do I do if my phone got wet and now it shows no SIM card error? If you happened to drop your device in water and now it shows no SIM card error, there is a chance that one of the circuits may have been damaged because of the water. It is best to allow your phone to dry completely before you use it. Remove the back cover of your device, provided it is removable, take out the battery and the SIM and put the parts in a bag or bowl of rice. Allow it to dry in the bag of rice for 24 hours before you put together all the parts of your device once again and check if the problem is fixed. If the issue persists then you must take it to a professional to check for physical damage. What do I do if my phone shows this error after an update? Software updates are always meant to ensure that your device works better and that it is using the most advanced technology available for the hardware. This is why it is always advised to keep your phone updated. However, if an update ends up causing a problem, there is a chance that the old data may be creating the issue. Restart your device to check if the problem is gone. Reinsert your SIM card after wiping the SIM card and the SIM tray to ensure there are no dust particles on them. Also, make sure that the SIM does not move in the tray. Reset your device to factory settings after backing up the data and check if the problem is gone. http://www.infinix.club/ng/forum/352/753030 |

282 Smartphone cameras let you take advantage of every available photo opportunity. But they can do more than take pictures of partying friends and sweeping landscapes. With the right apps, your camera can perform feats from translating texts to scanning paperwork. Here are some of its handiest superpowers. Translate foreign text With a typical translation app, you have to tap out text in a foreign language and then convert it to your native tongue, or vice versa. This can be a tedious process—especially if a server is hovering over you waiting to take your food order. Here’s a better idea: Scan the menu (or any other document) with your phone’s camera and instantly view the English translation. You can work this trick on any phone with the free Google Translate app (for Androidand iOS). Once you download the program, open it and choose the languages you’ll require—the one to be translating from and the one to be translated to—from the drop-down menus at the top of the screen. Then tap the Instant translate button, which looks like a camera with a little plus sign inside. Now point your phone’s camera at foreign text, from road signs to paper documents, and the screen will display the translated words as if by magic. If you own a Samsung Galaxy phone, version S8 or later, you can pull off the same feat with the native camera app. Just open it and tap the Bixby Vision button, which looks like an eye symbol, on the lower left-hand side of the screen. Then point your camera at a document, and the phone will automatically detect the language and translate the foreign words into your phone’s default tongue. Explore the night sky Gazing up at the stars on a clear night is dreamy, but you can make that experience even better by identifying which dot of light is which. With the right app, your phone’s camera will act as a star guide. Point it at the heavens, and visual overlays will tell you whether the object you’ve spotted is the International Space Station or the star Polaris. Our top pick is Star Walk 2 (for Android and iOS), which offers a nicer design and more features than similar apps. It relies on your location and input from the phone’s internal gyroscope to pinpoint constellations, passing satellites, and other objects. You can also use it to see how the night sky changes as you move forward or backward in time, read up on the cosmos, and view 3-D models of constellations. The app is free with ads or $3 without. As a runner-up, we like SkyView (for Android and iOS). Although its interface isn’t quite as polished as Star Walk 2’s, it can still act as a very competent guide to cosmic objects natural and man-made, with plenty of information on both. The app also has a handy feature to send you alerts about upcoming stargazing events. These baseline abilities are free, or you can pay a $1 fee to gain access to more detailed sky maps, as well as bonuses like a version of the app for your Apple Watch. Add augmented reality Want to see digital graphics overlaid on your phone camera’s view of the world? You have more options than ever before: Both Android and iOS are adding augmented reality tweaks to their respective platforms, and third-party app developers are also jumping on the AR bandwagon. To dip a toe into the AR waters, start with Snapchat (for Android and iOS). Install the photo and video messaging app, open the camera screen, and tap anywhere on the scene. Snapchat will immediately display a variety of AR stickers, which you can preview with a tap. Then adjust your angle, place the sticker where it fits best, and take a photo or video as normal. If Snapchat isn’t for you, you can still enjoy AR on your phone. A few examples: PGA Tour AR (for iOS only) places golf holes on top of nearby surfaces like your kitchen counter, Inkhunter (for Android and iOS) lets you preview tattoos on your skin before you apply any needles, and the Ikea Catalog app (for Android and iOS) will drop AR versions of furniture into your real rooms so you can check out how they look. Digitize paper documents The world hasn’t gone paperless yet, but you should do your part by converting paper documents into digital form. Thanks to your phone’s camera, you can scan everything from bank statements to business cards and then keep them on your local storage or upload them to the cloud. While you can always snap photos of documents and keep them in your default photo app’s gallery, a dedicated app will provide extra features like automatic cropping and even text recognition (so you can easily search through your scanned pages). For a full list of apps, check out this guide to paperless apps and gadgets. Of the items on the list, we like Google Drive and Dropbox best. The versions of Google Drive for Android and iOS can both scan documents: Tap the Plus icon and choose Scan. However, only the Android app offers automatic optical character recognition—you won’t find that ability in the iOS app. Dropbox (for Android and iOS) also includes an integrated document-scanning feature that employs your phone’s camera: From the front screen of the app, tap the Plus button, then Scan document. If you pay for a Professional ($20 per month) or Business account ($12 per user per month), you’ll also unlock automatic optical character recognition and document-searching abilities. Look up information With a little help from the Google Lens technology built into Google Photos for Android (it’s not yet available in the version of the app for iOS, although Google says it’s coming soon), you can snap an image of anything and then receive information about that object. To employ this trick, use Google Photos to open any image, then tap the Google Lens button, which looks like a simplified camera shape, at the bottom of the screen. The software will recognize an object in the photo, whether it’s a historical landmark or a type of flower, and provide information about it. Think of it like a visual search tool, recognizing everything from celebrities to famous works of art. If you own a Google Pixel phone, you can also access Lens through Google Assistant. Press and hold the Home button to bring up the Assistant, then tap the Google Lens button on the lower right and point your camera at a target. Tap the screen to confirm that the pictured item is the one you want to learn about, and information will pop up on the display. Access websites Photographing a QR code—those squares filled with a random-looking mosaic of black and white tiles—gives you a shortcut to open a relevant website. You’ll find QR codes on menus, package, posters, brochures, stationery, and other items. For example, scanning one of these boxes on a magazine advertisement can lead you to a website with more information about the item or open a special online discount. Those who own an iPhone can open the default camera app, point the handset at a QR code, and check out the notification that appears. Tap it to read more, including the hidden URL. On Android, this process gets slightly more convoluted. First snap a picture of the QR code, then pull it up in Google Photos for Android. Finally, tap the Google Lens button (a simplified camera shape) at the bottom of the screen. Act as watchdog Your phone can do double duty as a security camera that keeps an eye on your property, pets, or even kids. For this task, you’ll need two devices, one to film the video feed and another to tune into it. An old device that’s been gather dust would be perfect for the job. One of the best apps we’ve seen is called Manything (for Android and iOS). It lets you tap into the livestream from afar at any time, and it can send alerts when it detects motion in front of the camera. A subscription, which costs $4 to $13, adds the abilities to save footage to the cloud or set up more than one camera. If you’re focusing on baby monitoring, we like the apps Dormi (for Android only) and Cloud Baby Monitor (for iOS only). Dormi lets you connect to your monitoring phone or tablet from multiple devices, and it automatically amplifies the volume when it detects crying. The free version only provides four hours of monitoring a month; after that, subscriptions cost $1 for a month, $5 for a year, or $9 for life. With Cloud Baby Monitor, you can also tap into a live video feed from any other device. You can also receive alerts when the app detects motion or sound and send audio messages to your child from afar. It costs $4 up front. Supplement your memory Although this final application still involves taking photos, they’re not intended for Instagram or Facebook posts. Instead, you can use smartphone images as memory aids. Think about all the times you need to memorize new information, such as the Wi-Fi code at your friend’s house or the way cables fit into the back of your television. You could jot down notes on paper or a memo app, but snapping a photo is faster and easier. If you’re moving to a new house, photograph the contents of boxes so you remember what’s packed where. On vacation, record your ski or park pass in case you need to replace it as some point. During an overnight stay, photograph your hotel’s list of emergency numbers for future reference. Then, no matter where you go, you’ll have the necessary information close to hand, where you can easily pull it up the next time you need it.
