Thank you for this information.I will be ready for the interview by the time the invitation comes.Do you have any other info on things like bonuses offered(they did ask on the day of the test for expected bonus),training, etc. Thanks in anticipation of your response.
Admitwithschola: Salary is 160K per month.

Interview questions will be asked to reveal how interested you are in the firm and in investment banking. Questions like where you see yourself in two years, is not uncommon. Prepare for technical questions too.

I got this info from a guy who attended an interview there, but eventually accepted another offer from transocean

Thanks.Though I have already written the test and calculators were allowed.Expected to be called for an interview.Any ideas on their interview process and their pay package(they did require test takers to indicate their expected salary and bonus on the day of the test)?
oneblacboi: Its maths and English! 30 questions each. Standard math questions. No calculator allowed.

PoliticsRe: APC Unfolds 7-point Agenda by Phonon: 10:02am On Feb 21, 2013
Naming it a '7-point agenda' is enough to tell me that it would fail.Late President Yaradua is the clue in case anyone is wondering.Besides,OPC,sorry,APC have many influential members who left PDP because they couldn't get any more share of the 'national cake'.THEY ARE ALL THE SAME TO ME.The only way this country is going to be saved is when one strongman who does not care about party or geopolitical zone or godfathers becomes president.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Waiting To Resume With KPMG? by Phonon(op): 8:56pm On Feb 20, 2013
You have a long way man.I wrote the test in November 2012 and have done 3 interviews. Not heard anything from them yet so for those that wrote the test this year, they have a LOOOOONGG wait.
Its obvious KPMG recruitment is a thing of true patience. I read a thread on the guys who wrote the test in jan 2012 and passed. They resumed in october 2012. Now there is a set that started mid-2012 and they are still waiting. I wrote the test and passed in Jan dis year. And I guess my own waiting has just begun... Pls guys what are ur own veiws and opinions?
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Waiting To Resume With KPMG? by Phonon(op): 8:29pm On Feb 19, 2013
Be patient, there are those who had their test and all interviews last year and have not resumed.I think those that started the process this year would resume in September so they would take their time before calling for interviews.
blueheffner: Pls any information on the 2013 graduate trainee program?
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Waiting To Resume With KPMG? by Phonon(op): 8:27pm On Feb 19, 2013
Honestly,I don't know what the problem is.The wait is tiring.I did hear there is a training in March/April this year so I am thinking they would call by end of February or beginning of March.Did the HR representative tell you about any interview after the one with the Partner ?
Aakay: My dear,I don wait tire. My Last int and 3rd one after submitting my docs and getting a file was on sept 7th I tink last year and since den av called severally but I kip hearing "we'll get bk to. You"

This thread is for those who have passed three interviews (for Graduate Trainee) with KPMG and are waiting to be made an offer. Let's share our thoughts and expectations.I know I can't stop unrelated comments but at least try to be brief.
BusinessRe: Are more British-born Nigerians moving back to Nigeria ? by Phonon: 1:00pm On Feb 19, 2013
Many are coming back home because they realised they can make more money here without questions asked than they would if they remained in the UK.The UK is not as profitable or fashionable as before.THEY SHOULD NOT TELL US THAT THE LOVE OF NIGERIA BROUGHT THEM BACK.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Pwc Recruits Graduate Trainee 2013 by Phonon: 9:24am On Feb 19, 2013
If you look at previous posts on this thread,he has already acknowledged that the figure he mentioned is ridiculous.
kcpumpin: grin grin grin .. Even half of that amount is not paid to Trainees in any of the big 4 in Nigeria, not to speak of the exact amount I see in your post.. I love your dreams and faith bro. U never can tell where it will take you. Lol. But next time, do adequate research before leaping..

NYSCRe: Corper Wins Car For Maintaining Virginity Till Marriage. by Phonon: 2:59pm On Feb 16, 2013
When did virginity become the single criterion for being a good lady or a superb wife. There are many virgins who could be 'Supernaggers' or psychologically damaged or demon possessed.ABEG MOVE THIS THREAD TO THE RECYCLE BIN.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Pwc Recruits Graduate Trainee 2013 by Phonon: 12:07am On Feb 16, 2013
That is curious. I did all three interviews and passed them and never for once was compensation discussed. Maybe it is different for everyone.
Westlord: Audit Officer & Partner levels respectively
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Pwc Recruits Graduate Trainee 2013 by Phonon: 11:30pm On Feb 15, 2013
You should have done your research prior to applying. 130k - 180k per month should be a good range. It is an international firm but they would pay local wages not what the New York or Istanbul office is paying. smiley

ecolime: Chaii.. I hope this doesn't affect me in any way. I chose that amount because it's an international firm and I don't know the salary range of fresh graduates in organisations of equal magnitude. I've got to start making research on salary matters now. Wish I had seen this thread earlier. Please what amount do you think is fair enough?
